The Packaging Specialist is responsible for executing packaging operations. In this role, individuals will perform material moves, inspections, and audits to mainly support the Redwood Materials returnable program as well as supporting other production and warehousing functions. The focus of the role is to ensure customers receive their returnables in a presentable and timely manner.
Responsibilities will include:
• Inspect, verify, and report on the quality of packaging, ensuring it is free from damage and adheres to company standards.
• Ensure packaging is free of any restricted items, such as batteries or hazardous materials.
• Support warehouse management in maintaining operational excellence
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of packaging areas by adhering to 5S principles across varying packaging styles and processes.
