Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team:

Web Presence & Platform (WPP) is organized into two pillars: Platform and Presence. The Platform pillar builds internal systems, tooling, and infrastructure to support the web. The Presence pillar owns Stripe’s public-facing storytelling across stripe.com, including our homepage, product landing pages, industry and solutions pages, and other high-impact go-to-market surfaces. Together, we shape how millions of people understand what Stripe is and what it can do for them.

Designers on the Presence team work at the intersection of craft and impact—balancing clarity, polish, and systems thinking with strategic storytelling and experimentation. We collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, content, and product to deliver work that is not only beautiful, but measurably moves the business.

What you’ll do

As a Designer on the Presence team, you'll contribute to the strategy and execution of Stripe’s most visible web surfaces. You’ll design new product pages, evolve storytelling for specific industries or audiences, and refine reusable patterns that make it easier to scale exceptional work across stripe.com. This is a high-impact role for a thoughtful, collaborative designer who deeply values visual craft, user clarity, and iteration.

We’re looking for someone who’s excited to operate at the intersection of storytelling, systems, and scale—and who takes pride in the pixels. Your work will directly shape how millions of users understand Stripe, and help convert interest into action across a range of audiences—from founders to enterprise CTOs.

Responsibilities

  • Design new and improved experiences across stripe.com, including product, industry, and solution landing pages
  • Collaborate with engineers, PMMs, and content designers to define problems, explore solutions, and bring them to life
  • Partner with other designers to maintain and evolve systems that uphold Stripe’s design standards at scale
  • Balance storytelling with usability to create pages that are engaging, credible, and easy to navigate
  • Use user research, user testing, and data to guide and validate your decisions
  • Participate in critique and feedback sessions, contributing to the overall quality bar of the team
  • Demonstrate a meticulous attention to craft—ensuring designs are not only functional, but visually excellent

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these, we encourage you to apply—even if you don’t meet every preferred qualification.

Minimum requirements

  • 2–4 years of relevant design experience, ideally in web or product marketing contexts
  • A strong portfolio of web design work that demonstrates exceptional visual design skills, systems thinking, and attention to detail
  • Ability to independently scope and lead small to medium-sized projects
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Fluency in layout, typography, color, hierarchy, and interaction fundamentals
  • Comfortable using Figma and working in component-based systems
  • Experience working on CMS-driven websites and modular systems

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with front-end development workflows or an ability to speak fluently with engineers
  • Understanding of web performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices
  • Experience designing for international audiences or multilingual websites
  • Previous experience in fast-paced, cross-functional environments

How we work

We care deeply about craft—but also about moving with urgency and focus. We seek feedback early and often, because we believe design gets stronger through collaboration and iteration. We keep our users front and center—whether that’s a small business owner evaluating Stripe for the first time, or a CTO trying to understand a complex product at a glance. And we take pride in delivering work that is not only beautiful and precise, but that delivers clear, measurable impact.

We value curiosity, humility, and resilience. You’ll do well here if you love to learn, enjoy working across disciplines, and bring energy and optimism into your work.

This is a great opportunity for someone eager to grow. Designers on the Presence team have gone on to lead major product launches, shape system-wide improvements, and take on leadership roles. You'll be supported by experienced peers and have space to develop your craft, influence, and ownership over time.

Senior Product Designer, Foundations

Tremendous

**
LATAM, Canada, USA
Full-Time
Posted 2 days ago

Tremendous is the global platform built for businesses to send thousands of payouts to anyone, anywhere, for free. We're trusted by 20,000 organizations like Atlassian, MIT, and United Way to deliver gift cards and money to millions of recipients worldwide.

Our customers (researchers, marketers, HR teams, nonprofits, and platform businesses) rave about how fast and easy Tremendous is to use. Check out our ratings on G2.

Tremendous is profitable and growing without outside investors. We’re a fully remote, high-documentation, low-meeting culture, which means more time for what matters in both your professional and personal life. The team agrees– our employee NPS is in the high 80s.

Design at Tremendous

We design experiences that make complex systems feel straightforward and intuitive by taking our time to get things right. We favor depth and scale over speed, while raising the bar for quality so our product stays ahead of the competition. We’re a place for designers who care about doing things well.

About the role

We're hiring a Senior Product Designer to raise the craft of the product across Tremendous.

You'll report to our Director of Product Design and work horizontally. Craft projects across the dashboard and the recipient experience: navigation, information architecture, the design system, motion. You'll also take small projects from pods that have no designer. Those teams have little user experience work of their own, which is why this is a Foundations role.

What you'll do

  • Raise the craft of the product. Dashboard and recipient experience. Navigation, information architecture, how things open and close, empty states. Motion, micro-interactions, and transitions are a big part of the job.

  • Own the design system, and raise it. Set patterns other designers can follow with clear documentation. Close gaps that produce one-off UI. Push the quality of the system itself.

  • Set a vision for product foundations. Where craft, UX, and UI should go so the product holds up next to Stripe or Brex. Make that vision concrete enough to build toward.

  • Cover work that has no designer. Small projects from pods without an embedded designer.

  • Partner with an engineer. You'll work with an engineer focused on shipping this craft work with you. Use AI to prototype, show how something should feel, and help engineering implement it.

  • Designers at Tremendous own the copy in their designs.

What you'll bring

  • 8+ years as a product designer, including experience working on B2B products. You can do the product thinking: edge cases, shipping work that has to hold up in a real product.

  • High craft. Strong visual design, UI, and motion. Your portfolio shows it.

  • You've owned and improved a design system.

  • You've done information architecture and set a product vision or redesign. You can tell that story.

  • Strong communication and storytelling, written and verbal.

  • You use AI in your design work, including prototyping (v0, Claude, Cursor, or similar).

What's cool about the role

  • Ship work you’ll be proud of.

  • Competitive pay and equity. Base salary for this role: $200,000 - $265,000.

  • Real benefits. 100% covered health (US), unlimited PTO, 12-16 weeks paid parental leave.

  • Fully remote. Work from anywhere in the Americas.

  • Great culture. Read more about how we work in our public handbook.

Principal Product Designer

Customer.io

**
LATAM, Canada, USA
Full-Time
Posted 2 days ago

About Customer.io

Over 9,000 companies — from scrappy startups to global brands — use our platform to send billions of emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS every day. Customer.io powers automated communication that people actually want to receive. We help teams send smarter, more relevant messages using real-time behavioral data.

About the role

Hi, my name is Matt Wensing, VP of Product & Design at Customer.io, and I'm looking for a Principal Product Designer. Principal Product Designer is the highest individual contributor design role at Customer.io. This person shapes the design vision for the company and influences how design is practiced here — through their own craft, through the standards their work sets, and through the partnerships they build with product and engineering leadership.

Customer.io is in a transformational moment: executing against a strong current product while redesigning what the product is and how it's experienced by a new generation of builders. This role has to straddle both — delivering quality and coherence in what exists today while driving the vision for where things go.

This is not a management role, but it's a leadership role in the fullest sense. Their influence is felt company-wide — in the product, in the culture, and in who we hire.

About you

You have a fully formed point of view on how AI changes what software means — for the people who use it, the people who build it, and the agents that increasingly operate it. You have the conviction to put that view to work across a product and an organization. You lead through clarity and example, give candid feedback that improves the work, and operate with humility and curiosity even outside your own expertise.

What we value

  • Leads through clarity and example, not control. You shape culture through your own practice — not top-down direction.
  • Candid craft feedback. You give feedback that improves the work, even when it's uncomfortable.
  • Humility and curiosity. You operate with openness, especially in areas outside your expertise.
  • Amplifying others. You raise the impact of people across the whole company — not just the design team.
  • Bias for craft. You stay close to the work by choice, and that proximity is how you lead.

Some things you'll do

  • Shape and communicate a design vision for Customer.io's product as a whole — the coherent, long-range picture of what excellent looks like for our customers, brought into rooms where product direction gets set
  • Drive the strategic direction of Pluma, our design system — architecture, evolution, deprecation decisions, and the principles that govern how it scales
  • Close the gap between design intent and shipped product — stay close enough to implementation to catch divergence, and fix it directly when code is the right tool
  • Design for builder and developer audiences — CLI-native flows, API-first onboarding, and interfaces built for people who type before they click
  • Lead the design of agentic and human-AI surfaces across the product — develop the philosophy and advocate for the standards
  • Partner with product and engineering leadership on product strategy — bring design into the conversation before direction is set, not after
  • Develop and advocate for Customer.io's AI product design philosophy as a framework the whole team builds from
  • Lead design review for major initiatives and bring accountability for quality and coherence across what ships
  • Develop Staff designers through direct mentorship, critique, and the clarity of your own example
  • Contribute to hiring and calibration — assess candidates with conviction and help the team develop a shared language for what excellent looks like

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating design vision and organizational impact, not just individual craft
  • Track record of shaping design direction at the company level — influenced what gets built and why, not just how it looks
  • Designed for developer and builder audiences — CLI, API-first onboarding, or infrastructure-native products
  • Developed point of view on AI and agentic product design — has shipped AI-native interfaces and can articulate a philosophy on interaction models for agentic and delegated use
  • Contributed to a design system at the strategic level — shaped what it should be and shouldn't be, and advocated for those decisions over time
  • Operates with influence without authority — track record of aligning product, engineering, and exec leadership around a design direction without a management title
  • Has raised the craft bar at an organizational level — through critique culture, standards, and the example others internalize
  • Executive-level communication — connects design decisions to customer impact, product differentiation, and business outcomes
  • B2B SaaS depth — understands complex, data-heavy products and has opinions about where the interaction model breaks

Compensation & Benefits

We believe in transparency. The starting salary for this role is $245k-$276k USD, depending on experience and subject to market-rate adjustment. In addition to base salary, this role includes an equity grant in the form of stock options, so you share in the success you help build.

We know our people are what make us great, and we're committed to taking great care of them. Our inclusive benefits package supports your well-being and growth, including 100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and supplemental insurance premiums for you and your family. We also offer 16 weeks of paid parental leave, unlimited PTO, stipends for remote work and wellness, a professional development budget, and more.

Our Process

No gotchas, no trick questions — just a clear, human process designed to help both of us make an informed decision.

  • 30 minute call with Recruiter
  • 45 minute call and portfolio review with Hiring Manager
  • 30 minute call with cross-functional partner
  • 60 minute design case call with members of the design & tech team

All final candidates will be asked to complete a background check and employment verifications as part of our pre-employment process.

Customer.io recognizes the stifling impact of systemic injustice on diverse communities. We commit to using our influence to increase inclusion and equity within the tech industry. We strive to build an inclusive team culture, implement bias-free hiring practices, and develop community partnerships to expand our global impact.

Zoom is the only video conference platform that we use, virtual interviews will be conducted using the video capability (i.e., not via the chat), and offers will be extended in writing on official Customer.io letterhead. Please be vigilant in all of your job search activity, and if you have any questions, please contact jobs@customer.io.

Senior Product Designer

NetBox Labs

USA
Full-Time
Posted 2 days ago

NetBox Labs seeks a Senior Product Designer to help shape the next generation of our platform. We are building products on top of the NetBox data model that help network teams put their data to work, from interactive maps of their network, to compliance on network intended design, to analytics and AI-driven workflows. This role will own design across these applications and how they connect to each other. You will partner with product managers and engineers on day-to-day delivery, and with design leadership on building a design culture and scaling how design works across the company.

Who you are

Curiosity drives you. You want to understand how networks actually run and why operators work the way they do. You love rolling up your sleeves and are as happy sketching a flow, building a prototype or sitting in on a customer call. You are energized by complex technical landscapes, where dense data, expert users and messy real-world systems bring out your best work. You have a sharp eye for great design, care about craft and clarity and can explain why something works and how to make it better.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end design for platform applications such as Analytics, Visual Explorer, Validation, orAI-driven workflows that customers use directly in the product.

  • Design how these applications interact with each other, NetBox, and our observability products.

  • Turn complex data sets, visualizations, and workflows into clear, usable interfaces for network engineers and architects.

  • Plan and run user research, both qualitative and quantitative, and bring customer insight back to product and engineering teams.

  • Prototype ideas quickly, whether with AI tools, in code, or in Figma, to test concepts with users and engineers.

  • Design in the open. Share work early, invite critique, and keep stakeholders aligned.

  • Contribute to our design system in Figma and partner with frontend engineers on the Storybook component library.

  • Shape how the design team uses AI in its process, and challenge how we work today.

  • Help improve how we use product analytics to inform design decisions.

  • Help define the long-term vision for the platform, exploring what comes next beyond your immediate product area.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product design experience, including enterprise-grade B2B software.

  • Experience designing for technical users, such as network, DevOps, security, or infrastructure engineers.

  • A track record of taking products from MVP to GA, including shaping the first release and carrying the design through to a launch-ready product.

  • Comfort with complex data sets, data visualization, and multi-step workflows.

  • Strong visual design and interaction design skills, shown in a portfolio.

  • Hands-on experience planning and running user research, and acting on what you learn.

  • Active, effective use of AI in your design work, with examples of how it has changed your process.

  • Prototyping skills in any form, from AI tools to code to Figma.

  • Experience working on a design team inside a scale-up, alongside other designers.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a habit of designing in the open.

  • Experience in improving how a team works, not just what it ships.

  • Able to work with significant overlap with US Eastern and UK hours.

Nice to have:

  • Experience designing observability, monitoring, or compliance products.

  • Experience with network management or infrastructure software.

  • Experience using product analytics tools such as PostHog to inform design.

  • Familiarity with design systems built in Figma and Storybook.

Join NetBox Labs. Help design how network teams see, trust, and act on their data.

Associate Creative Director, Digital Design

Samsara

**
USA
Full-Time
Posted 5 days ago

Who we are

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.

Working at Samsara means you’ll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that’s shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.

The Associate Creative Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the visual and creative direction of the digital experience for a leading global B2B SaaS company. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on design expertise, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality creative assets that resonate with both business clients and internal stakeholders. This role also plays a key part in reimagining what our web and digital experiences can be in an AI-first world — moving beyond conventional page-building toward more interactive, memorable digital experiences for our customers.

This is a remote role open to candidates based in the US.

You should apply if:

  • You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact—helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
  • You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won't be your last at Samsara. We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper growth environment.
  • You're energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers.
  • You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by a high-calibre team that will encourage you to do your best.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of creative concepts for digital, and multimedia marketing materials.
  • Own our tokenized digital web design system in Figma, with components mapped one-to-one to our codebase so that a single change cascades consistently across the entire site—coordinating with the Brand Creative team to ensure we show up in a consistent, evocative manner, and keeping the system structured for both designers and AI-assisted tools to build from.
  • Prototype and build directly using AI-assisted design and development tools, moving fluidly from concept toward a near-shippable experience rather than relying solely on a traditional design-to-engineering handoff.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to create compelling visual narratives that align with brand strategy and business goals—including bringing an e-commerce and growth-oriented mindset to our web store, a fast-scaling, revenue-driving part of the business run more like a product than a typical marketing site.
  • Manage a team of digital designers and creative technologists, providing guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to ensure high standards of creative excellence.
  • Oversee the production process from ideation through to final delivery, ensuring projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations.
  • Contribute to the creation of brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all creative outputs.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging design tools—including AI-powered ones—integrating innovative techniques into the creative process.
  • Work closely with UX to ensure that our user insights are being delivered upon.
  • Analyze and optimize creative assets for performance across various digital channels, ensuring that designs drive engagement, conversions, and customer retention.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
  • Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 8+ years of experience in a creative role with 2+ years of experience as a direct people manager within a B2B SaaS or high-tech environment.
  • Expertise in design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
  • Experience and curiosity around AI models and tools for how they augment design workflows and condense time between design and development.
  • Hands-on experience working within a componentized or tokenized design system in Figma, ideally one connected to a live codebase.
  • Genuine, hands-on fluency with AI-assisted design or prototyping tools—you don't need to be a deep technologist, but you should already be building with these tools as part of your process, not just aware of them.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, UX/UI design principles, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Ability to translate user insights into compelling digital experiences.
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, heatmaps, or A/B testing to understand how creative assets perform and optimize them accordingly.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which can be helpful for collaborating with developers and understanding web-based project requirements.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects, collaborating with various teams, and delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts to non-design stakeholders.
  • A portfolio showcasing a range of creative work, including B2B marketing campaigns, digital experiences, and branding projects.

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Experience designing for or partnering closely with an e-commerce or product-led-growth (PLG) motion, in addition to traditional marketing/brand work.
  • In-house experience at a fast-scaling company, in addition to or instead of agency experience.
  • Experience preparing or structuring a design system so it can be consumed by AI or MCP-based tooling, or tying a design system directly to a live codebase.
  • Proficiency in motion design tools like After Effects or Premiere Pro for creating dynamic content, video assets, and animations that complement creative campaigns.
  • Experience with 3D design software like Cinema 4D or Blender, adding depth and sophistication to projects.

Head of Product Design

Amplitude

**
Canada, USA
Full-Time
Posted 7 days ago

Amplitude is the leading AI analytics platform, helping over 4,700 customers—including Atlassian, Burger King, NBCUniversal, and Square—build better products and digital experiences. With powerful AI Agents embedded across our platform, teams can analyze, test, and optimize user experiences faster than ever. Ranked #1 across multiple categories in G2’s Winter 2026 Report, Amplitude is the best-in-class solution for product, data, and marketing teams. Learn more at amplitude.com.

As an organization, we deliver for our customers by living our values. We operate from a place of humility, take ownership of problems and successes, approach challenges with a growth mindset, and put our customers at the center of everything we do.

Amplitude is moving fast, from product analytics to an AI-native platform with agents embedded across the product, used by over 4,700 companies. We are looking for a strong design leader with a builder mindset to lead a 15-person design team through the next phase of growth.

This is a player-coach role. You manage and grow the team. You also stay in the actual work: elevating quality through feedback, pairing with designers on the hardest UX puzzles, and asking the right questions to unlock the crux of the problem. You'll know every product surface well enough to raise its quality — even if you don't own any single one end-to-end.

Designers are embedded in autonomous pods and need to keep shipping fast. Maintaining speed without compromising on coherence and quality is the job. If that tension sounds like an exciting problem to solve rather than a contradiction to complain about, keep reading.

What you'll do

Build the team. Hire, grow, and retain a high-performing design team, identifying people who will thrive and raise the bar at Amplitude. Develop them through direct, specific feedback. Help someone who's stuck get moving again.

Set direction. Drive the design strategy for Amplitude's product suite: Core Amplitude, Statsig, and Wave (a proactive agent that helps teams build self-improving products). Help define how agents and humans work together in the same workflows.

Champion craft. Strong visual design builds trust, clarity, and delight in the era of AI. Lead by example, elevating the quality of the product through exceptional design execution.

Hold a high bar. AI makes it cheap to ship UI changes, which makes it easy for quality to erode quietly. Set a clear standard for what good looks like and enforce it without becoming an approval bottleneck.

Stay in production. You believe that “the design” is what ships. Code is the material that brings the design to life. Push on the details, the papercuts, the edge cases.

Speak for the customer. Show up in leadership conversations as the voice of the customer, pushing for solutions that genuinely serve their needs and reduce complexity.

What we're looking for

  • You've managed senior, independent IC designers and earned their respect through product and craft judgment.

  • You've shipped products that moved real customer and business metrics, fast.

  • You've created (not inherited) structure inside of a messy, high-growth organization.

  • You've shipped AI-native experiences and use AI tools in your own practice today (we'll ask what you built and what you learned).

  • Your portfolio shows both systems-level thinking and pixel-level craft.

  • Bonus: You’ve designed for both technical and non-technical users, and can hold that tension without compromising the experience for either.

  • Bonus: Experience with Analytics, Experimentation, or Developer tools.

What this is not

  • Not an executive role that manages up and delegates down. You're deep in the work.

  • Not a pure IC role. You're accountable for a team of 15.

  • Not design ops. Your job isn't to add rituals, templates, or governance.

  • Not the approval committee. Pods keep moving; you create coherence without becoming the bottleneck.

Our values:

At Amplitude, our values guide how we show up for one another and for our customers:

  • Humility: We operate from a place of empathy and openness, seeking to understand many points of view.

  • Ownership: We take the initiative to solve problems that drive our shared company success.

  • Growth Mindset: We’re tenacious in the face of challenges and seek feedback in order to grow ourselves and others.

  • Customer Centricity: We put the customer at the center of everything we do and are deeply committed to their success.

We care about the well-being of our team: We offer competitive pay and benefits packages that reflect our commitment to the health and well-being of our Ampliteers.

Staff Product Designer

Ashby

**
Canada, USA
Full-Time
Posted 8 days ago

Hi! I'm Chris, head of Product Design at Ashby.

We're looking for a versatile, intrinsically motivated designer who is excited to contribute to rethinking how modern software is designed. At Ashby, you'll be part designer, part product manager, part consultant, and part design system manager (or some combination of the 4!). We do design differently here, and if that excites you, read on.

Our unique approach is working - we're growing >100% year-over-year and have notable customers like Notion, Linear, Shopify, and Snowflake. Our growth and retention metrics are best-in-class among our peers: we have tens of millions in ARR, very low churn, and many years of runway. We're backed by amazing investors like Y Combinator, Elad Gil, Lachy Groom, and many more! We’ll share more details once we meet.

How We Work

In my previous roles, product teams always consisted of a product manager, a designer, and ~4-5 engineers. This may sound familiar to you! The product manager briefs the designer who then designs. After designing, mocks are handed to the engineers.

We take a more principled approach here at Ashby. If you've been designing software enough, you'll realize in actuality, design is required in varying degrees on each project. Sometimes in the past, I'd be asked to design yet another settings page, when really all that was needed was an engineer to reuse existing components and just follow some documentation I had written. Other times, I felt I should effectively be the product manager and own a project from beginning to end. In these latter cases, it made sense that I was even the one providing project updates and managing resources rather than constantly being pinged by a separate product manager.

This principled approach is now what we do here, and it is part of what has allowed Ashby to take down incumbents in multiple verticals all at once. We don't settle for the status quo—we actively resist reversion to the mean.

Currently, I report to Benji, the co-founder & CEO. Both Abhik and Benji (our founders) care deeply about design, which at first glance may seem counterintuitive given the number of full-time designers that we employ. The belief is not that design is unimportant, but rather that it should be owned by the product team collectively, not solely by a group of full-time designers who happen to have the job title.

The design department’s job at Ashby is not to make every single design decision but to equip our entire product team to make better decisions themselves, as well as edit decisions that PMs/Engineers choose to make. That, while tackling the biggest design challenges ourselves.

Separate from design, you may also be excited by the fact that we maintain a near seed-stage-like culture with fuzzy lines between functional roles, as much autonomy as you can handle, and a focus on IC-work with an almost-no-meeting culture. While you get the product-market fit and scale of a growth-stage startup, you also get the agency and no-nonsense, no-red-tape culture of a seed-stage startup.

What We’re Building

Talent teams aspire to build a hiring process that identifies great candidates, moves them quickly through the interview process, and provides an excellent experience for the candidate. To accomplish this, recruiters perform thousands of daily tasks to coordinate and relay information between candidates, interviewers, and hiring managers. Teams struggle to keep up!

Scheduling a final round is an excellent example of our customers' challenges. A recruiter needs to collect availability from the candidate, identify potential interviewers, perform “Calendar Tetris” to find who is available to interview the candidate, schedule on the earliest date possible, and perform any last-minute adjustments as availability changes. They must perform this while considering the interview load on each individual and whether interviewers need to be trained and shadowing others.

Ashby provides talent teams with intelligent and powerful software that provides insights into where they’re failing and automates or simplifies many of the tasks they’re underwater with. We put a lot of effort into designing products that are approachable to beginners but mastered and extended by power users. In many ways, spreadsheets set the bar here (and are what we often replace!).

Why you should or shouldn’t apply

Your qualifications:

  • 10+ years of product design experience, with the majority being in desktop SaaS

  • Able to take huge, ambiguous projects and break them down into actionable parts

  • Able to speak to patterns of the highest functioning design teams and how to create an environment of high performance

  • Able to leverage designers' superpowers to influence engineering, product, and the rest of the company

  • Able to create standards and principles that will help improve the quality of design across the product org

  • Able to think from first principles instead of simply applying the “standard” UX processes.

  • Enough experience that your intuition can solve most usability problems without having to rely solely on data & metrics or conducting user research.

  • Curious & resourceful enough to come up with creative solutions and de-risk them appropriately.

  • Best-in-class skills in layout, navigation, IA, UI, and interaction design.

  • Obsession with craft & details.

  • You have experience at an early-stage startup or have spent time as a solo designer on a team.

You may want to apply if you’re excited about:

  • Creating leverage and impact far and above what you'd see in a typical EPD product team structure. You won’t be a cog in the wheel, the wheel is not very big!

  • Getting to work on all parts of a massive product surface area - spanning many user types, JTBDs, usability challenges, etc. Unlike in other organizations, you won’t be stuck working on one problem for many years.

  • Helping reinvent the design model for modern enterprise software—you don’t have to build wireframes, user journeys, personas, etc. What matters is solving a customer’s problem; what tools you use are up to you.

  • Covering all parts of the design process with a focus on design craft. You'll still be doing the occasional user research interview but will be focused on using heuristics & experience to improve our IA, navigation, interactions, UI patterns, and more.

  • Helping build our design system from (almost) the ground up.

Conversely, you may not want to apply if:

  • You feel uncomfortable designing independently without much guidance from a PM or design management.

  • You’re uncomfortable having your decisions and process being challenged constantly by engineering & product.

  • You prefer an in-person role over remote (Ashby operates remotely).

  • You dislike written documentation.

  • You want a set structure and rhythm to your projects.

    • PM gives you a brief, you do wireframes, then mocks, then pass off work to engineers. Rinse and repeat.

  • You prefer a narrow job scope - interaction design only, design system only, etc.

On a weekly basis you will find yourself:

  • Consulting for engineers who need help structuring layout, typography, flows, etc.

  • Digging into problems by consulting GTM, talking to customers, asking for data requests, and more in order to present confident assumptions about your proposals.

  • Using Figma to draw out your ideas and create visual artifacts for stakeholder alignment.

  • Writing specification docs (we call them specs!) that detail your design proposals. These documents are meant to get stakeholder alignment on the biggest decisions you want to make and are a core part of how we work at Ashby.

  • Taking ownership of larger product features and thinking through Jobs-To-Be-Done, navigation, information architecture, layout, interaction, etc.

  • Taking in customer feedback and using heuristics to build your own usability backlog and propose projects for engineers to take on.

  • Consolidating and refining our design system to be functional, aesthetic, and best-in-class.

Interview Process

At Ashby, our team and interview process want to help you show your best self. We’ll dive into past projects and simulate working together and talking through decisions. Our interview process is four rounds with some casual Zoom coffee in between to get to know each other:

  1. 30m introduction call to discuss Ashby and your experience

  2. 45m portfolio review

  3. 75m design exercise and app teardown. The exercise will be a live whiteboarding exercise where we provide a prompt and you show us how you'd break down problems and come up with solutions.

  4. 2.5hr final round - meet the team + portfolio repeat with a founder

I'll be your main point of contact and prepare you for interviews. You’ll meet other engineers and product managers as well (with lots of time to ask them questions). If we don’t give an offer by the last round, I'll provide feedback as to why if you'd like it (I'm serious!).

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity.

  • 10-year exercise window for stock options. You shouldn’t feel pressure to purchase stock options if you leave Ashby —do it when you feel financially comfortable. This is one of the reasons I joined personally - not a lot of startups do this.

  • Unlimited PTO with four weeks recommended per year. Expect “Vacation?” in our one-on-one agenda until you start taking it.

  • Twelve weeks of fully paid family leave in the US. We plan to expand this to employees in other countries as situations arise.

  • Generous equipment, software, and office furniture budget. Get what you need to be happy and productive!

  • $100/month education budget with more expensive items (like conferences) covered with manager approval.

  • If you’re in the US, top-notch health insurance for you and your dependents with all premiums covered by us.

Ashby’s success hinges on hiring great people and creating an environment where we can be happy, feel challenged, and do our best work. We’re being deliberate about building that environment from the ground up. I hope that excites you enough to apply.

Ashby provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce and welcome people from all backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, and abilities.

Ashby is committed to a fair and transparent hiring process. We confirm that this advertisement is for an active, existing vacancy within our organization. Please be advised that we may use artificial intelligence-driven tools to assist our recruitment team in screening, assessing, and selecting candidates for this position.

What It’s Like to Work at YipitData:

YipitData isn’t a place for coasting—it’s a launchpad for ambitious, impact-driven professionals.

From day one, you’ll take the lead on meaningful work, accelerate your growth, and gain exposure that shapes careers.

Why Top Talent Chooses YipitData:

  • Ownership That Matters: You’ll lead high-impact projects with real business outcomes
  • Rapid Growth: We compress years of learning into months
  • Merit Over Titles: Trust and responsibility are earned through execution, not tenure
  • Velocity with Purpose: We move fast, support each other, and aim high—always with purpose and intention

If your ambition is matched by your work ethic—and you're hungry for a place where growth, impact, and ownership are the norm—YipitData might be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

About The Role:

YipitData is looking for a Lead Web Designer & Developer to own the design and development of our public-facing websites. This is a hands-on role for someone who can move fluidly from user experience and visual design to responsive implementation in Webflow.

You will establish the systems, templates, and technical foundations that allow our teams to publish high-quality content quickly and consistently—without relying on engineering for routine website work. You will help evolve our website into a scalable growth platform that supports YipitData’s businesses, strengthens our brand, and creates clear, intuitive experiences for our audiences.

As the company’s in-house website design and development expert, you will partner closely with Design, Brand and Communications, Demand Generation, Corporate and Investor Marketing, Product, and business stakeholders across YipitData. You will also help us build internal website expertise and reduce our long-term reliance on external agencies.

Working hours: This is a fully remote role with a standard working schedule of approximately 9 am – 5 pm. Because you will collaborate with teams and stakeholders across both East and West Coast time zones, you will need the flexibility to occasionally accommodate meetings in a variety of time zones.

This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC (where our headquarters is located), one of our office hubs, or anywhere else in the US. However, depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding.

As Our Lead Web Designer & Developer You Will:

  • Own the end-to-end design and development of YipitData’s public-facing websites, from early concepts and user flows through launch and ongoing iteration.
  • Translate business objectives, brand strategy, content requirements, and growth opportunities into clear information architecture and compelling web experiences.
  • Design and build responsive, accessible, production-ready pages, templates, components, and interactions in Webflow.
  • Create and maintain a scalable website design system that improves consistency, quality, and speed across YipitData’s web properties.
  • Serve as the technical owner of our Webflow environment, including CMS architecture, reusable components, custom code, integrations, permissions, documentation, and publishing workflows.
  • Partner with Demand Generation and Marketing to support SEO and AEO, conversion optimization, experimentation, analytics, lead flows, and campaign launches.
  • Collaborate with Brand and Communications to ensure that every website experience reflects YipitData’s visual identity, narrative, voice, and editorial standards.
  • Work with business and product teams to turn complex offerings—including data, research, and AI-powered products—into intuitive, credible, and engaging digital experiences.
  • Establish website quality standards and conduct ongoing reviews for usability, accessibility, responsiveness, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Manage website projects and priorities across multiple stakeholders, communicating tradeoffs and moving work forward in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop self-service templates, guidance, and governance that enable non-technical teams to publish and update content safely.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and specialized partners when needed while steadily increasing YipitData’s in-house capabilities.

You Are Likely To Succeed If:

  • You have 5+ years of professional experience designing and building high-quality marketing or corporate websites, with a portfolio demonstrating both strong UX/visual design and hands-on implementation.
  • You are highly proficient in Webflow, including CMS architecture, reusable components, responsive layouts, interactions, and custom code when needed.
  • You have strong front-end fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and can independently troubleshoot technical and implementation issues.
  • You have deep experience with responsive design, information architecture, design systems, accessibility standards, browser compatibility, and website performance.
  • You are comfortable owning work from initial request through discovery, design, stakeholder alignment, development, QA, launch, and iteration.
  • You combine a high visual bar with pragmatic execution—you know when to refine a solution and when to ship, learn, and improve.
  • You are an effective cross-functional partner who can translate among design, marketing, technical, and business stakeholders.
  • You use qualitative feedback and quantitative signals to improve user experience, content discoverability, conversion, and overall site performance.
  • You communicate clearly, manage competing priorities thoughtfully, and take responsibility for outcomes rather than waiting for detailed direction.

Nice-to-have experiences include:

  • Designing websites for B2B technology, data, analytics, research, financial services, or other complex products.
  • Technical SEO, AEO, structured data, content discoverability, or large-scale CMS publishing.
  • Conversion-rate optimization, experimentation, analytics, and lead-generation workflows.
  • Figma and component-based design systems.
  • Connecting Webflow with analytics, marketing automation, CRM, forms, APIs, or other third-party platforms.
  • Working with multiple brands, audiences, or business lines within one organization.
  • Collaborating with (and eventually reducing reliance on) external design and development agencies.

What We Offer:

Our compensation package includes comprehensive benefits, perks, and a competitive salary:

  • We care about your personal life, and we mean it. We offer flexible work hours, flexible vacation, a generous 401K match, parental leave, team events, wellness budget, learning reimbursement, and more!
  • Your growth at YipitData is determined by the impact that you are making, not by tenure, unnecessary facetime, or office politics. Everyone at YipitData is empowered to learn, self-improve, and master their skills in an environment focused on ownership, respect, and trust. See more on our high-impact, high-opportunity work environment above!
  • Base Salary + Performance-Based Bonus: The annual base salary range for this position is anticipated to be $150,000 with eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus of up to 10%. Final compensation may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal team benchmarks.

This role may be performed fully remotely within the United States. Please note that our US headquarters are located in NYC. If the remote work is performed outside of these offices, income may be subject to New York State tax withholding.

We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.

  • Experience with qualitative research and behavior tools such as UserTesting, Microsoft Clarity, and Hotjar
  • Experience applying AI tools across the research lifecycle, such as synthesizing interview transcripts, clustering open-ended feedback, spotting patterns in behavioral data, or accelerating analysis and reporting
  • Experience building a research practice or insight repository from the ground up
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple competing priorities

#LI-TS1 #remote

What you'll get

  • Unlimited paid time off, 12 paid holidays including 4 global VeeaMe Days for self-care and 24 paid volunteer hours annually through Veeam Cares

Manager, Product Design, Growth (Upper Funnel)

Mural

**
Canada, USA
Full-Time
Posted 10 days ago

ABOUT THE TEAM

At Mural, we’re reimagining how teams think and create together. The Design and Research team brings clarity to complexity, shaping experiences that help people collaborate, ideate, and solve problems visually. We partner deeply with engineering, product, and research to invent the next generation of collaborative work combining craft, systems thinking, and bold exploration.

YOUR MISSION

As a Lead Product Designer focused on Growth, you’ll define how Mural earns user trust at the moments that matter most when someone first encounters the product's value, decides to go deeper, or chooses to stay.

This is end to end growth journey ownership. It's about designing the logic of how Mural grows: the moments where clarity converts, where friction is a design failure, and where the line between growth and product quality either holds or breaks. You'll work across discovery, activation, and pricing surfaces, onboarding paths, upgrade flows, lifecycle touchpoints, and in-product nudges. Most importantly, you'll orchestrate how those surfaces work together and set the standard for how growth design is practiced at Mural.

You'll succeed if you can bring full journey thinking, rigor and craft to a domain that often defaults to shortcuts and if you can help a cross-functional team understand what good growth design actually looks like.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Player Responsibilities (Individual Contributor Work):

  • Define high-quality, user-centered discovery, activation, and monetization experiences across problem to success flows, upgrade flows, pricing surfaces, and lifecycle touchpoints — setting patterns that scale across the platform.

  • Work from concept to production, delivering thoughtful UX, polished visual design, and vibe coded prototypes that help the organization understand direction, risk, and value.

  • Use behavioral data as a primary design input: interpret funnel metrics, experiment results, and user signals to inform design decisions, not just validate them.

  • Design and lead experiments across acquisition, activation, and expansion funnels — from hypothesis formation through read-out, in close partnership with product and data science.

  • Establish reusable growth patterns in Mural's design system that balance clarity, persuasion, and long-term user trust.

  • Partner with engineers to ensure accurate, high-quality implementation of flows and components.

Coaching Responsibilities (Practice Leadership & Management):

  • Directly manage one to three designers on the growth surface: run regular 1:1s, set goals, give performance feedback, and support their career growth.

  • Balance IC output with people leadership — this is a hands-on management role, not a full-time management track. Expect the majority of your time to remain in design work.

  • Model how to hold craft and commercial intent simultaneously — showing peers what it looks like to design for conversion without compromising user trust.

  • Mentor designers working on growth-adjacent surfaces, developing their instincts around hierarchy, motivation, friction, and funnel thinking.

  • Contribute to how the team understands growth design as a discipline: a principled approach to earning user commitment.

  • Champion the relationship between growth quality and product quality, helping leadership understand when they align and when they're in tension.

  • Partner with research, data science, and product to elevate experimentation quality across the organization.

Hybrid Responsibilities (Both Player & Coach):

  • Reframe problems at the funnel level helping teams understand where value is earned or lost and why.

  • Lead workshops or working sessions that bring clarity to pricing, packaging, onboarding, and upgrade moment opportunities.

  • Collaborate with product, research, and data science to define success metrics, shape experiment hypotheses, and interpret outcomes.

  • Advocate for user trust as a growth asset, not an obstacle to conversion — and model how design holds that line.

Design & Research Team Contribution:

  • Share growth approaches for designing discovery, onboarding, and identity flows with peers through critique and collaboration.

  • Partner with research, data, and product teams to elevate experimentation quality and improve how Mural understands user value signals.

  • Contribute to a culture of design excellence, especially in areas where growth and monetization intersect with core product experiences.

What you’ll bring

  • 8+ years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS, productivity tools, collaboration software, or product-led growth environments.

  • 2+ years of managing other designers

  • A track record of leading growth, monetization, or conversion-focused design work — not just contributing to it.

  • Deep fluency in funnel thinking: you understand acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion as a connected system, not isolated moments.

  • Strong data instincts: you can read behavioral data, interpret experiment results, and use both to sharpen design decisions.

  • Exceptional craft: visual clarity, spacing, motion, and interaction polish are second nature.

  • Systems thinking: you understand how decisions cascade across surfaces, journeys, and user relationships over time.

  • Experience mentoring or leading other designers, even informally — you know how to raise the quality of work around you.

  • Strong communication skills that help cross-functional partners make smart, user-centered decisions.

  • Comfort operating in spaces where patterns don’t yet exist and playbooks need to be written.

Also great if you bring

  • Experience with pricing architecture, packaging strategy, or monetization model design.

  • Deep experience mapping and designing activation journeys — the full arc from first action to genuine value realization.

  • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted tools and vibe coding to prototype growth flows, simulate behavioral nudges, and stress-test funnel logic in motion — treating code as a design material for rapid exploration.

  • Background in organic acquisition or activation funnels at scale.

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted experiences or contextual intelligence in growth flows.

  • Experience working with data science teams on experimentation frameworks or causal inference.

  • History of shaping 0→1 growth systems or redesigning broken acquisition or retention loops.

Responsibilities

  • Design with a systems mindset across consumer experience, expert workflows, and AI systems
  • Develop scalable design patterns and frameworks that support product growth
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers from discovery through launch
  • Contribute to product thinking and help define what we build—not just how it looks
  • Ensure high-quality implementation through close collaboration with engineering
  • Use product metrics, user feedback, and experimentation to iterate and improve
  • Use AI tools to accelerate workflows and help shape AI-driven product experiences

How You’ll Go About It

  • Balance strategic thinking with fast, iterative execution
  • Take ownership of problem spaces with autonomy and accountability
  • Communicate ideas clearly and drive alignment across teams
  • Maintain a high bar for craft, usability, and product clarity
  • Design systems that make complex experiences feel simple and intuitive
  • Collaborate with low ego and high ownership

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of product design experience
  • Experience shipping products in mobile, consumer apps, or complex B2B systems
  • Experience designing AI-driven or personalized experiences
  • Strong visual and interaction design skills with a high bar for quality
  • Ability to design end-to-end experiences—from flows to polished UI
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Portfolio demonstrates strong product thinking and execution
