Talent Partner

Albert Invent

**
Germany, India, Japan, United States
Full Time
Posted 4 days ago

Albert helps chemists change the world by building technology that understands how they work. As chemists ourselves, we know what it’s like when software doesn’t work the way you do — stuck with systems built by people who never spent a day at the bench. That’s why we created Albert OS, the first AI-native operating system for materials science, designed to remove every obstacle between curiosity and discovery.

We're looking for an ambitious and results-driven Talent Partner to join our growing team. This role, with a focus on building and scaling Albert's talent acquisition function, will play a key part in driving how we find, attract, and close the people who will define what Albert becomes.

If you're passionate about cutting-edge technology and thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, we want to hear from you.

What you'll do

Build

  • Talent Experience:Candidacy at Albert feels intentional and distinct — because how Albert hiresreflectswhat Albert values. Own the full candidate journey — communications, interview process, offer experience — and curate every touchpoint to reflect that. Partner with Marketing and the People team to shape candidate-facing messaging and define what makes Albert a compelling place to work, so the experience a candidate has is never accidental and rarely forgettable.
  • Infrastructure:A hiring function that runs consistently and absorbs volume without constant manual intervention. Configure ATS workflows, build sourcing frameworks, andestablishthe data and reporting thatkeepthe system honest.
  • Tools, Automation & AI:Recruiting work runs more efficiently because you designed it that way.Identify, deploy, and manage the tools and agents that remove friction — and think critically about where automation adds value and where human judgment is irreplaceable.

Source

  • Outbound Recruiting:The right people choose Albert because you found them and made a compelling case. Lead deep outbound sourcing for Build org roles — AI engineers, software architects, product managers, and designers — with the craft and persistence these roles require.
  • Compliance & Fairness:Every hiring decision is consistent and compliant. Develop andmaintainstructured interview frameworks, evaluation criteria, and hiring guidelines that work across all roles and in partnership with recruiting teams globally.

Partner

  • Executive & Hiring Manager Partnership:Albert makes better hires because of the structure and perspective you bring. Consult on role and process design, enable structured interview practices, and bring informed points of view — not just execution.
  • Global TA Ecosystem:Alberthires withconsistency and credibility across every region. Build and coordinate the broader talent acquisition infrastructure across the US, Germany, India, and Japan — partnering with both external recruiting agencies and internal recruiters toestablishshared global practices, policies, and standards.

You will have

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with depth in technical roles — AI engineering, software architecture, product management, and design.
  • Demonstrated experience building or significantly improving a recruiting function, not just executing within one.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools, ATS automation, or recruiting technology to solve real problems.
  • Startup or high-growth company experience — comfortable creatingstructurewhere none exists.
  • Global recruiting exposure with strong US market knowledge.
  • Experience working with and influencing senior executives who move fast.
  • Strong communicationacross candidates, hiring managers, and leadership.
  • A track recordof closing — not justsourcing butpersuading the right people to say yes.

Key Competencies

  • Autonomy:Does not wait to be asked. Creates their own path, follows up without prompting, takes full ownership of their work, and holds themselves accountable when things do not go as planned.
  • Builder mindset:Has worked in environments without a playbook and made something from nothing. Energized by ambiguity, not paralyzed by it.
  • AI fluency:Thinks critically about what belongs to a system and what belongs to a human. Uses AItools practically, not performatively.
  • Candidate empathy:Designs recruiting experiences the waya great productdesigner thinks about users — with care, intentionality, and a genuine interest in how people feel.
  • Strategic partnership:Earnstrust with executives and hiring managers by bringing informed points of view, not just executing requests.
  • Creativity:Thinks beyond job boards and standard outreach. Brings original ideas to how Albert attracts talent — how we tell our story, where we show up, and what makes a candidate choose us over a better-known name.
  • Grit:Persistent, resilient, and genuinely invested in outcomes. Does not mistake movement for progress.

Why Albert?

We have a huge impact. Albert is a growing team with a global reach. We're building toward a future where discovery feels like exploration, not administration. Where chemists can pursue their most ambitious ideas without friction.

We love our global team. Albert's home-base is in the California Bay Area, but we have multiple offices and employees sprinkled around the globe: India, Germany and Japan. In fact, over 50% of our employees work outside of California! An international hybrid culture is in our DNA. We care about you. Albert works hard to create a positive environment for our employees, and we think your life outside of work is important too. We work hard and we play hard. We value diversity. Growing and maintaining our inclusive and diverse team matters to us. We are committed to being a company where our employees feel comfortable bringing their authentic selves to work and have the ability to be successful — every day. We're always looking for humble, sharp, and creative folks to join the Albert team. If you think you might be a fit, please apply!

📍 Remote | Equity-Only | Build the Future of Hiring at Luupli

About Luupli
Luupli is not your average social media platform. We’re creator-first, equity-focused, and building a safer, smarter social experience from the ground up. Currently in beta, we’re on a mission to put creativity, community, and fairness back at the heart of online connection. Think next-gen product meets real-world impact.

We’re a small, mighty, and global team and we’re growing.

🎯 The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Lead to help us scale our team from early hires to core engine. If you love sourcing amazing people, designing seamless candidate journeys, and building talent systems from scratch, this is your moment.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll own:

  • Sourcing and attracting top talent across technical and non-technical roles

  • Managing the recruitment lifecycle from outreach to offer

  • Building foundational hiring processes, systems, and templates

  • Supporting onboarding, culture alignment, and early retention

You’ll work closely with our founders and hiring managers to define how recruitment works at Luupli, from day one through day 90.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

  • Lead sourcing efforts across engineering, product, design, and growth roles

  • Build diverse, high-quality talent pipelines using creative outreach methods

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment funnel: sourcing, screening, coordination, feedback, and offers

  • Create job descriptions, scorecards, interview plans, and templates

  • Partner with hiring managers and founders to understand talent needs and timelines

  • Set up and maintain light-weight ATS or candidate tracking systems

  • Improve candidate experience and ensure timely, respectful communication throughout

  • Support pre-boarding and onboarding processes (checklists, intros, first week plans)

  • Report on pipeline health, time-to-fill, and hiring success metrics

🌱 You Might Be...

  • A senior recruiter or sourcing specialist ready to take the lead

  • Someone who’s worked in an agency or startup environment and wants more ownership

  • Obsessed with candidate experience and creative sourcing

  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats (yes, you might draft a JD one day and onboard someone the next)

  • A system-builder who loves creating structure out of chaos

  • Eager to grow into a future Head of Talent role as the company scales

🔎 Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or sourcing

  • Proven experience building candidate pipelines for tech and/or creative roles

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple roles at once

  • Clear, engaging communication, written and verbal

  • Experience setting up or managing hiring systems or ATS tools

  • Comfortable working remotely and independently

  • Passion for startups, social tech, or the future of work

💸 Compensation

This is an equity-only role at this stage. There is no salary or cash compensation pre-funding. You’ll receive meaningful equity in Luupli in recognition of your contribution. Once we secure funding, equity hires will be considered first for full-time paid roles.

🌀 Why Join Luupli?

We're not just building a company, we’re rewriting the script for what social media can be.

At Luupli, we believe creators deserve better. Communities deserve safety. And the internet deserves more equity, empathy, and innovation. That’s why we’re building a platform from the ground up, with ethics, creativity, and fairness baked into the code.

This role is your chance to do more than hire great people, you’ll be shaping how an entire generation of Luupers join us. From the words in our job posts to the way someone feels on day one, you'll define the journey.

If you’ve ever wanted to:

  • Be trusted to build something meaningful from scratch

  • See your ideas implemented in real time

  • Work alongside founders, not under layers of management

  • Create impact beyond a KPI, in people’s careers, communities, and lives

  • Earn not just a salary someday, but a stake in something that matters

Then Luupli is for you.

We’re still early, but that’s the opportunity. This isn’t a polished machine. It’s the engine room of a rocket ship. And you get to help fuel the launch.

To Apply

Please use the link to apply. We look forward to hearing from you.

What we're looking for

If you have the following experience then this is a great role for you:

  • Experience recruiting or sourcing candidates in a fast moving environment
  • Comfortable owning a high volume, recurring workload without losing attention to detail on any single search
  • Confident running outbound outreach and cold conversations, and making candidates feel genuinely wanted
  • Organized enough to keep a bench of candidates warm over months, not just fill whatever is open today
  • Familiarity with an ATS, Greenhouse is a plus, and a sourcing tool like LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Interest in AI and leveraging the latest technologies for optimal recruitment

A few ways to stand out, but not required

  • Experience recruiting specifically for SDR, Support, or other high volume roles, such as in call center environments
  • Background in a SaaS or tech environment
  • Experience building or maintaining a talent bench ahead of need, not just filling open requisitions
  • Familiarity with the green industry

Compensation:

  • Canada-based candidates: CAD 55,000 - 65,000
  • US-based candidates: USD 55,000 - 65,000

Reasons why you would love it here!

  • Join a team culture that’s all about collaboration, support, and having fun while making a real impact every day.
  • In the U.S., we offer comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with multiple plan options, plus additional add ons like HSA/FSA accounts, disability and life insurance, and more.
  • In Canada, we provide an employer-funded HSA-based benefits plan with drug, dental, and mental health coverage - giving you a flexible way to manage your healthcare needs.
  • We're committed to your financial future, with 401(k) matching for U.S. employees and RRSP matching for those in Canada.
  • We invest in your growth through tailored career development conversations and support for tools, courses, and resources to help you thrive.
  • And when it comes to work-life balance? We offer unlimited Paid Time Off, paid company holidays, and a company-wide winter break from December 24 to January 1 - so you can truly recharge.
