Life is too short to work with jerks.

Join our team at NCD, a top-tier insurance provider, consisting of a unique and eclectic group of winners, nerds, and gamers who balance a fun, kind, and thoughtful approach to life with an unwavering commitment to unparalleled member satisfaction. Our ecosystem is rooted in our five core values: Relentless Positivity, Growth Obsessed, Get it Done, Helpful Spirit, and Solution Driven.

We are not just coworkers, but a community, working tirelessly towards 'Spreading the Smile' to our members, agents, and each other. NCD is at the forefront of dental and vision insurance, in partnership with our carrier partners MetLife, VSP, and Zurich. Our continuous growth is a testament to our commitment to delivering outstanding agent and customer satisfaction.

If you are ready to win each day, are eager to grow, and aspire to contribute to an organization that is setting the pace in the industry, then we are looking for you. Together, let’s drive change and take NCD to new heights. Join us and become a vital part of our success story as we continue to transform lives and 'Spread the Smile.

The Role

NCD is hiring a dedicated recruiter who will own the recruiting function from end to end. You'll be the primary driver of hiring across the company: sourcing, screening, interview process design, offer negotiation, and everything in between. You'll continue to improve our hiring processes, while partnering closely with hiring managers and executives across our various departments.

We're looking for someone who's comfortable with high volume, high ownership, and minimal hand-holding. You'll have autonomy to improve upon processes and real accountability for whether it's working. Because NCD is a lean, growing organization, this role has direct, regular visibility with senior executives on hiring strategy, key searches, and organizational design decisions.

What You'll Own

  • Full-cycle recruiting — from intake to offer, across all departments and levels.
  • Process design — continuously refine sourcing strategy, interview kits, scorecards, and workflows suited to a growing company in a regulated industry.
  • Stakeholder partnership — work directly with hiring managers to define roles, calibrate interview panels, and keep candidates moving without sacrificing quality.
  • Executive visibility — brief senior leadership directly on key searches, hiring strategy, and org design decisions, rather than routing through layers of management.
  • Pipeline & sourcing — proactively source passive candidates rather than relying on inbound alone; build a bench for recurring or hard-to-fill roles.
  • Systems & reporting — manage the ATS and recruiting tools within NCD's Rippling-based HR environment; track time-to-fill, pipeline health, and hiring manager satisfaction, and report on it proactively.
  • Offer management — lead negotiation and close, coordinating with hiring manager and HR/Finance on compensation and start-date logistics respectively.
  • Candidate experience — represent NCD professionally to every candidate, regardless of outcome.

What Success Looks Like

  • Recruiting runs as a self-sustaining system, not a series of one-off fire drills.
  • Hiring managers trust the process because it's fast and transparent.
  • Time-to-fill and quality-of-hire metrics improve quarter over quarter.
  • Bottlenecks get flagged and fixed before someone has to ask.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including time spent building or significantly improving a recruiting process.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously. Comfortable fully owning recruiting.
  • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management, including the ability to push back on a hiring manager's request when it won't get them the candidate they actually want.
  • Hands-on ATS/HRIS experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Pluses/Preferred:

  • Recruiting experience in insurance, health care, financial services, or another regulated industry.
  • Experience recruiting technical and executive level roles.
  • Experience recruiting for a company undergoing high growth and increasing complexity in needs.

NCD Benefits

  • Company-paid health, dental, life, and disability insurance
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Opportunity for professional development
  • Work from home allowance and support
  • Positive work environment
  • Remote, office-based flexibility within the United States of America

Equal Opportunity

NCD is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to building a team that reflects a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. We believe our differences make us stronger and help us better serve our members, agents, partners, and each other.
