- Plan and coordinate hiring events, and group interviews (virtual and on-site, run with local station teams) so frontline pipelines stay consistent, high-quality, and on pace with operational demand.
- Guide candidates from the start of recruiting through training until new team members are released to their local team duties, compliant and supported.
- Work with the Safety and Compliance team to ensure frontline hiring complies with FAA, FMCSA, and state passenger transportation regulations, including background checks, drug and alcohol testing, and driving record verification.
- Work daily in ADP Workforce Now and People Systems (such as Tenstreet, Indeed, Glassdoor, Wellfound, Sterling, HireRight, ZenDesk), keep candidate records accurate, and recommend process improvements.
- Help strengthen Landline’s employment brand as a premier passenger transportation employer, including contributing to recruiting marketing materials and campaigns that highlight our culture and benefits.
- Build and maintain relationships with job boards, community partners, and external recruiting agencies.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, primarily in high-volume frontline hiring, plus some full-cycle exempt-role recruiting.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A hands-on, execution-focused approach and the ability to independently manage your own requisition load.
- Experience hiring for customer-facing hourly roles such as airport, ground handling, or driver positions in a multi-state or multi-country environment, ideally in transportation, aviation, logistics, or hospitality.
- Experience supporting or running in-person hiring events, job fairs, or mass onboarding.
- Comfort operating in a fast-growing, sometimes ambiguous environment where priorities shift quickly.
- Working knowledge of FAA and FMCSA hiring requirements, or a demonstrated ability to learn regulated hiring processes quickly.
- Comfort working with recruiting data and metrics, with a track record of using data to improve outcomes.
- Strong organization and the ability to manage a high volume of requisitions and competing deadlines.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or a comparable ATS; familiarity with Tenstreet, Slack, and Microsoft tools preferred.
- Experience hiring in Canada, including Québec, is a plus.
- French language proficiency and a recruiting or HR certification are a plus.

About Caliza
Caliza is commercial banking infrastructure for companies that operate across borders. Most global businesses still piece together several banks, FX providers and spreadsheets to move money. Caliza replaces that with one platform and API: hold USD accounts, collect and pay in 33+ currencies, and convert between fiat and stablecoins, over local rails, SWIFT or stablecoins, in minutes instead of days. On top of that, we’re building the treasury layer: programmable accounts, approval policies, automated reconciliation and working capital, run by a customer’s finance team or their AI agents.
Our customers are importers, exporters, FX brokers, payment companies and fintechs across the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia. We’re licensed and regulated across our core markets, and our team has built financial infrastructure at Visa, Nubank, EBANX, Flutterwave, Upstart, Intuit and Silicon Valley Bank.
Our backers
Initialized Capital, Better Tomorrow Ventures, Abstract Ventures, New Form Capital, QED Investors, Valor Capital and Quona Capital, along with the founders of Flutterwave, Chipper Cash, Rappi, Pomelo, Dock, Remesa Online and Anchorage.
About the role
You will run Caliza’s hiring from first outreach to first day. We are hiring across engineering, compliance, sales and customer success in the US, Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia, and you will build the process that brings those people in and sets them up to succeed. You will partner with every leader on the team and lay the foundation for people operations as we grow.
What you’ll do
Own full-cycle recruiting across every team: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, references and closing.
Run Lever: job postings, pipelines, scorecards, reporting and hiring manager workflows.
Partner with hiring managers to define each role, build structured interview loops and hold a consistent hiring bar.
Source directly for hard-to-fill roles, including regulated compliance and licensing roles and regional sales roles in new markets.
Manage offers within approved compensation bands, working with Finance on approvals.
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding: documentation, equipment, system access and first-week plans.
Work with Risk and Compliance on employment agreements, contractor classification, background checks and hiring across jurisdictions, including through employer-of-record providers.
Build the basics of people operations as we scale: HR systems, policies, onboarding playbooks and employee records.
Report weekly to the leadership team on pipeline health and progress against the hiring plan.
What you’ll bring
4+ years of in-house recruiting at a high-growth startup. Fintech, payments or other regulated industries are a plus.
A track record of hiring across several countries, including Latin America.
Experience closing senior and technical candidates.
Hands-on experience with an applicant tracking system, Lever preferred.
The organization to run 10+ open roles at once while keeping every candidate informed.
Professional working fluency in English. Spanish or Portuguese is a strong plus.
Ability to work hours that overlap with US Eastern and Brazil time zones.
Nice to have
Experience setting up people operations at an early-stage company.
Familiarity with employer-of-record providers such as Deel, Remote or Oyster.
Experience recruiting in Africa or Asia.
Experience using AI tools for sourcing, screening or interview scheduling.
Benefits
Benefits vary by country of employment and may include health coverage, paid time off and holidays, a home office or equipment allowance, a professional development budget, and in-person team offsites. Candidates based outside the US may be employed through an employer of record or engaged as contractors, with pay and benefits structured to local law and market practice.

We value diverse backgrounds and encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every listed qualification.
Accommodations. We provide reasonable accommodations to qualified applicants with disabilities and to anyone who needs one during the hiring process. To request an accommodation, contact the recruiting team.
Background screening. Because we handle sensitive financial data and regulated activity, any offer will be contingent on a background check, which may include criminal history, employment and education verification, and sanctions screening, to the extent permitted by law. In the US, we conduct screening in line with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and applicable state and local fair chance laws, and we consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records in accordance with those laws.
Work authorization. Candidates must be authorized to work in their country of residence. We are not able to sponsor visas for this role.
Employment terms. For US-based hires, employment with Caliza is at-will. Terms for hires outside the US follow local law.

Talent Acquisition Lead, Performance Marketing
Launch Potato
WHO ARE WE?
Launch Potato is the discovery and conversion company. We reach tens of millions of people every month through our brands, including FinanceBuzz, All About Cookies, and OnlyInYourState. We turn that attention into real outcomes for our partners, some of the world's leading companies.
Our mission: create predictable, high-value customer acquisition at scale by connecting discovery, intent, and performance across category-leading consumer brands in finance, travel, and entertainment.
We run profitable and bootstrapped, with a South Florida HQ and a remote-first team across 18 countries.
WHY JOIN US?
You own outcomes here, not tasks. We measure work by impact, not activity. The pace is real, and change is constant, so the people who do best turn change into opportunity instead of waiting for it to settle. Feedback runs direct and lands with respect. Ordinary people make themselves extraordinary at Launch Potato.
Remote, US (ET hours) · Reports to the SVP of Talent
We're looking for the recruiter who finds the senior and hard-to-fill talent no one else surfaces, runs each search first touch to close, and makes our recruiting function sharper over time.
You'll own the whole talent acquisition function and searches that matter most to an affiliate and performance marketing business, the ones where a miss costs us months, and you'll do it without layers or handoffs, which means nobody downstream catches what you miss. The best recruiters can move quickly and strategically making sure that talent acquisition aligns to our business, not just the req, each hire raising the bar leading to extraordinary outcomes.
Tip: Only apply if you have had success hiring for an affiliate/performance marketing business OR built performance marketing teams (paid media, yield, CRO, tech roles focused on metrics that make an impact i.e. ROAS, margin, EBITDA, etc.)
Why This Seat
- Real ownership. You run the search, make the calls, own the results. No layers, no handoffs.
- A teammate in your corner. Our Recruiting Ops Manager owns the backend so search work never bottlenecks, and helping that teammate grow is part of the seat.
- Partners, not gatekeepers. Hiring managers move with you as an extension of talent.
- Influence past filling seats. You become the expert the business consults on how to hire, and you leave behind systems that outlast you.
- A modern, AI-forward stack. Claude is in the daily workflow and the sourcing tools are real, with room to raise the bar on what's possible with a lean team.
- Room to grow. You start as an IC leading our Recruiting Ops Manager, with an opportunity to manage in the future based on success.
What You'll Bring
- Intimate knowledge of an affiliate or performance marketing business like ours, or a track record recruiting and building performance marketing teams: paid media, yield, CRO, and data science focused on the metrics that move the business.
- Full-cycle ownership. You've run searches first touch to close, solo, across concurrent searches, and senior leaders trust your read because you give it to them clearly and concisely.
- A sourcing engine you built yourself: inbound and outbound, passive included, with a repeatable framework and the tools and automation that moved your numbers.
- Outreach that converts. You know how many people you contacted on your last hard search and how fast, not just how many you sourced.
- Calls you can defend. When you don't have a read yet, or you got one wrong, you say so and go get the answer.
Nice to Have
- Built search reporting that let leadership see status at a glance and spot stalls early.
- Designed scorecards, pre-screen rubrics, or interview loops that sped up panel decisions.
- Recruited technical roles alongside engineering leaders.
- Coached an ops or coordinator teammate into a bigger role.
What You'll Own
- Our senior and hard-to-fill searches, from intake through close.
- Pipeline built ahead of demand, so when a req opens you already know who to call.
- The recruiting playbook: scorecard floors per req, pre-screen rubrics, interview design.
- Direction and growth for our Recruiting Ops Manager.
- The reporting layer leadership uses to see search status and forecast stalls.
What Good Looks Like
- Our hardest searches close faster than they do today, with healthier pipelines behind them.
- Standout candidates you met months ago get the call when the right req opens.
- Hiring managers ask for you by name.
- Panels decide faster because every req runs on a floor and a rubric you sharpened.
- The backend never bottlenecks a search, and our Recruiting Ops Manager keeps growing.
- Leadership sees search status at a glance and sees stalls coming.
This Isn't the Right Seat If You
- Lean on agencies to build your pipeline.
- Have mostly sourced or coordinated for other recruiters.
- Recruit for roles without wanting to understand the business behind them.
- Make the call on gut and fill in the reasoning later.
Want to accelerate your career? Apply now!
Since day one, we've been committed to having a diverse, inclusive team and culture. We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity company. We value diversity, equity, and inclusion.
We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, or other applicable legally protected characteristics.
