The Prepress Operator is responsible for preparing customer artwork and production files for printing by ensuring all files meet company, customer, and press requirements. Job Summary:
The Corrugator Operator works within a team to operate the corrugated machine in a safe, efficient and reliable manner.
Essential Job Functions:
Check basis weight and width of roll stock before placing it on roll stands
Set glue dams for running correct width
Set correct adjustment on pressure roll and corrugating rolls
Check glue pattern on roll changes and adjust as needed
Continually maintains web lineup
Ensure correct glue level for proper pickup to applicator roll
Clean out slots (corrugator rolls and glue rolls) as needed
