The Sample Splitter will perform sample splitting on soil samples by following a program in LIMS (Lab Information Management System) that will display the types of splits and checks that need to be performed.

Performing moisture checks on a moisture analyzer Will be running instrumentation and transferring data into the LIMS system Additional duties will include performing sample discard on various bottle types by following a program in LIMS that indicates when a sample is ready for disposal. Additional duties as assigned This is a full-time position on 2nd shift, 3pm-11:30pm. Shift can be Tues-Sat OR Sun-Thurs. Training will be on 1st shift M-F for 3-4 weeks.

The Trade Compliance Specialist works as an integral member of the Fortune Brands Innovations Customs team. This role will assist with the day-to-day operations for all Trade Compliance and Customs related activities for the company’s global divisions located in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and China.
Location: This role is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, reporting to the Deerfield HQ Tues-Thurs, with the option to work remotely on Monday & Friday.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing and reviewing import documentation for compliance with CBP regulations. Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate shipment processing. Support product classification using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS). Maintain customs data in ERP systems, including HTS codes and country of origin. Track and monitor import shipments for timely customs clearance. Participate in post-entry audits and internal compliance reviews. Maintain proper recordkeeping in accordance with CBP requirements. Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary documentation and product information. Stay current on trade regulations and participate in training sessions.
Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in customs compliance, logistics, or international trade. Skilled understanding of U.S. import regulations and HTSUS. Knowledge with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and grow within the trade compliance field. Proficient experience working with customs brokers or freight forwarders. High understanding of free trade agreements, country of origin rules, or duty drawback programs. Has obtained or in process of obtaining Customs Broker License (CLB), preferred.

What you’ll be doing
Travel to designated locations to perform mobile diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and other diesel-powered machinery.
Providing Fleet Maintenance services for our ever-growing fleet of car-hauling equipment.
Diagnose and repair issues related to engines, transmissions, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, brakes, and other components.
Conduct preventative maintenance, electrical/ mechanical diagnostics, and mechanical repair.
Utilize diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical problems.
Maintain accurate service records, documenting all repairs, parts used, and hours worked.
Communicate effectively to explain repairs, provide estimates, and ensure satisfaction.
Manage and maintain a clean and organized service vehicle, ensuring all necessary tools and parts are stocked.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Provide exceptional service and represent the company professionally at all times.

What you should know
Our top technicians have extensive knowledge in both Electrical and Mechanical Diagnostics.
Preventative Maintenance is a priority, but the ideal candidate should be knowledgeable and proficient in troubleshooting and repair of: HVAC, Braking systems and wheel end components, Engine systems, Emissions and Aftertreatment, and Electrical.
This is a mobile technician; travel is required 100% of the time
What you should have

3+ years experience as a diesel technician, preferably with mobile service experience.
