We're looking for an HSE Coordinator to lead the charge toward zero accidents and build a safety culture that ranks among the best in the industry. You'll own safety and environmental programs across two industrial sites in Wisconsin, while also supporting field service teams nationwide.
HSE Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and report on key safety metrics, including reductions in serious injuries, testing completion and scores, and improvements in operational risk
- Build a behavior-based HSE program that aligns with broader organizational goals
- Keep the organization compliant with company and government safety policies
- Coach and collaborate with stakeholders at every level to build real ownership of safety, not just compliance
- Conduct risk assessments, identify hazards proactively, and design interventions that get at the root cause when something does go wrong
HSE Coordinator Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HSE experience, with a track record as a change agent
- Demonstrated success building a strong safety culture and rolling out safety innovations
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, up and down the organization
- A proactive mindset, you spot problems before they become incidents
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and mitigating risk
- Professional HSE certification is a plus, not required
HSE Coordinator Additional Details
- Direct hire opportunity with full benefits
- Compensation: starting at $110,000 annually
- Supports two industrial sites, Appleton, WI and Neenah, WI, plus field service teams located throughout North America
