Patient Services Representative
Philadelphia, PA | Full-Time | Starting at $20/Hour (DOE)

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced medical front office professional who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.
What You'll Do- Greet patients and visitors while delivering outstanding customer service
- Schedule appointments, register patients, and manage check-in/check-out
- Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and referrals
- Collect copays and maintain accurate patient and financial records
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) and practice management systems
- Coordinate with providers and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Protect patient confidentiality and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Provide administrative support and assist with daily office operations
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of medical front office or patient services experience
- Experience with scheduling, insurance verification, patient registration, and copay collection
- Knowledge of Medicaid and managed care insurance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHR systems (eClinicalWorks preferred)
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Experience in an FQHC, behavioral health, or dental setting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience serving diverse and underserved communities
- Starting pay of $20.00/hour, based on experience
- Full-time, stable schedule (40 hours/week)
