Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
- Minimum 8 years knowledge and experience with deployment and maintenance of enterprise web application firewall products: Akamai Kona, F5 ASM/AWAF, Salt API Protection.
- Primary responsibility is support of our security infrastructure and security projects with potential to take on responsibilities for other network security technologies such as Network Access Control, Firewall etc
- Must have good working knowledge of troubleshooting techniques: performing and analyzing the results of packet captures, CLI commands, familiarity with network protocols
- Understand application layer TCP/IP Layer 7 security fundamentals
- Ability to analyze application logs and work with developers to ensure secure coding practices are in use
- Bachelor's degree in information systems or relevant field of study
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) are required.
- Ability to interact with personnel at all levels across the organization and to comprehend business imperatives.
- A strong customer/client focus with ability to manage expectations appropriately and provide superior customer/client experience and build long-term relationships.

- Coding/Scripting experience such as Python or PowerShell to automate tasks is a bonus.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operations and monitoring and day to day troubleshooting for web application firewalls (F5 and Akamai) across the enterprise.
- Provide expert level troubleshooting for supported technologies
- Perform architecture and engineering responsibilities in support of existing technologies and new security projects
- Perform regular health checks and user activity audits
- Author and vigilantly maintain documents related to the design, purpose, operation, and management of security applications

Accountability:
The Applications Engineer will design, plan, and coordinate the mechanical and software integration for Fives machine tools, controls and processes to deliver technology driven components for a variety of industry sector applications including, but not limited to, aerospace, automotive, energy, oil & gas and heavy equipment. Scope and Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:

- Works closely with existing and new customers to identify new applications, markets and business opportunities for Fives processing equipment and technologies.
- Identifies opportunities to improve capabilities of Fives processing equipment based on customer experience and future needs.
- Identifies opportunities to develop new types of processing systems based on market trends.
- Reviews and analyzes customer part manufacturing requirements.
- Prepares customer part simulations and reports using CAD and composite CAM software.
- Recommends machine type to best fit the application.
- Stays abreast of technological improvements and innovations.
- Visit's customer facilities to support introduction of systems and processes, resolve processing issues.
- Provides market vision, direction, and feedback to management.
- Prepares and delivers presentations on equipment applications and process capabilities.
- This position will require frequent travel up to 75-85% to support new and existing business.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree or equivalent education and experience.
- Five or more years' experience in industrial manufacturing environment.
- Three to five years' experience in machine tool manufacturing.
- Experience in the deposition of pre-preg material onto layup and cure molding.
- Experience in automated manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledgeable and proficient using engineering computer aided design tools.
- Good organizational skills with focus on attention to details.
- Excellent communication skills verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of machine tools equipment and processing
- Microsoft office software proficiency.
Travel Requirements:

We’re looking for an Application Engineer who enjoys combining technical expertise with customer-focused problem solving. This is a great opportunity to work across the power and water automation industries, developing modernization and integration solutions for Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
You’ll join a Lifecycle Proposals team responsible for developing technical solutions and proposals covering control system modernization, subsystem replacements, and ancillary systems integration.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop clear, accurate technical proposals for DCS solutions based on customer requirements and specifications.
- Partner with regional and project engineering teams to develop complete automation solutions.
- Participate in customer meetings to define scope, understand technical requirements, and present proposed solutions.
- Collaborate across engineering and other internal teams to solve technical challenges and support customer needs.
- Review customer orders to ensure the scope aligns with the proposed solution and prepare projects for order entry.
- Help customers evaluate modernization and automation solutions that can improve plant reliability and performance.
What We’re Looking For:
- BS degree in Electrical, Electronic, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or another related STEM field—or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Experience working with DCS and/or PLC control systems.
- Knowledge of application and process automation systems.
- Understanding of Distributed Control Systems and their application in industrial environments.
- Ability to travel up to 5%.
