Strong knowledge of Oracle 19c database integration, SAP Business Intelligence reporting frameworks, secure coding practices, and upgrading and migrating Solr index data is essential. Experience with PrimeFaces UI framework is a plus. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders—to ensure seamless upgrades with minimal operational disruption. Position Responsibilities: Core Development & Modernization: • Plan and execute technology stack upgrades for enterprise Java applications in secure government environments • Develop and maintain Java/Python components on Windows-based VMware infrastructure • Modernize legacy application code to current standards and best practices • Implement secure coding practices in compliance with government security requirements Infrastructure & Integration: • Upgrade Apache Solr clusters with Zookeeper coordination • Migrate and optimize Solr index data during version upgrades • Manage Apache Tomcat application server configurations and deployments • Integrate applications with Oracle 19c database systems • Work with Apache Directory Studio for directory services integration • Support SAP Business Intelligence reporting framework integrations Collaboration & Documentation: • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and business stakeholder teams • Ensure minimal operational disruption during system upgrades • Document technical designs, upgrade procedures, and system configurations • Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
