About Fluidstack We exist to make humanity more free. For most of human history, you farmed or you starved. Technology gave people more time for the things they wanted to do, instead of things they had to do. Powerful AI will be the biggest lever for human choice we've ever built - but only if models are aligned with what humanity actually wants. There are groups building AI who don't share these goals. Whoever deploys frontier compute infrastructure fastest will decide whether AI expands human freedom or shrinks it.
We're singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack. We acquire power, design and build data centers, and operate them - with teams spanning hardware and software. Speed and scale are our key differentiators. Come be a part of building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI.
We hire people who care deeply about this problem space. If that is you, please apply!
How We Operate Extreme ownership. Full autonomy. Own things end to end often taking on scope outside your core role without being asked to get things done.
Velocity. We drive everything forward as fast as possible.
First principles. Challenge every assumption. Zero analogy thinking, no egos, the best idea wins.
Love of the game. The frontier of AI is the most interesting problem of our time. We put in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward.
The Supply Chain Team Examples of key problems the team is working on
Supply compute at a scale of 10s to 100s of GWs, the largest build out of compute in history. Qualify and dual-source across every critical equipment category, with lead-time and capacity thresholds tied directly to the forward build pipeline.
Make supply chain the reason we build faster than anyone. Our modular build redefines speed in this industry, and it lives or dies on supply chain. Keep procurement permanently off the critical path so schedule compression stays our advantage, not our constraint.
Build the most accurate supply chain prediction modelling that exists. Use the frontier of AI to forecast lead times, demand, and disruption with a precision the industry has never had, and turn that foresight into a structural edge.
Role Scope Own and execute multi-year commodity strategies for assigned direct-material categories (metals, plastics, electronic components, sub-assemblies, MRO) supporting continuous manufacturing.
Monitor commodity markets, index pricing, and supply/demand dynamics, and build should-cost models to validate supplier pricing against the market.
Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP processes and competitive bidding, including e-auctions, and evaluate supplier capability, capacity, and risk through structured assessments and site audits.
Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and volume commitments, and execute MSAs, LTAs, and pricing amendments with Legal and Finance.
Own supplier relationships as primary commercial contact: QBRs, scorecards (PPM, OTD, cost, responsiveness), and continuous improvement, and develop alternate sources to kill single-source risk.
Deliver annual cost-reduction and productivity targets through value engineering, demand aggregation, and consolidation, and feed market-validated costs into budgeting and S&OP.
What We're Looking For The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would .
You've owned commodity strategy and strategic sourcing for direct materials in a manufacturing environment, negotiating complex contracts and long-term agreements.
You build should-cost models and use market intelligence to validate pricing, not just accept supplier quotes.
You run structured supplier management: QBRs, scorecards, dual-sourcing, and risk mitigation.
You consistently hit cost-reduction targets through real levers (value engineering, consolidation, demand aggregation).
You partner with Engineering, Quality, and Planning, including on NPI and design-for-cost.
Bonus: Direct-material categories for hardware or electronics. CPSM, CSCP, or CPP. Global supply markets. Manufacturing S&OP.
Salary & Benefits Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity).
Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms.
Health, dental, and vision insurance.
Generous PTO policy, in line with local norms.
The base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
The Construction Team Examples of key problems the team is working on
Put gigawatts in the ground, faster than anyone has. We're delivering one of the largest data center buildouts of its kind, with many sites running at once. Traditional construction management breaks at this scale, so we're building the model that replaces it.
Throw out traditional construction and invent how gigawatts get built. Tons of tools, layers of process, and administrative drag don't get you there. You'll strip all of that out and win by solving the real problem and beating the goal, not by managing toward it.
Productize the data center so we can build it a thousand times. You'll turn one-off construction into a repeatable, modular build, where the hundredth site goes up faster and cleaner than the first. That repeatability is the only way to reach the scale we're targeting.
Role Scope Run a data center construction project end to end: budget, schedule, contracts, and stakeholders from notice to proceed through turnover.
Manage GC and trade contracts commercially: change orders, pay applications, claims, and closeout with no surprises.
Chair the owner-architect-contractor rhythm and keep decisions moving at build speed.
Hand the finished building to commissioning and operations clean, with documentation that survives the first audit.
What We're Looking For The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would .
You've project-managed $100M+ construction and brought it in on the numbers.
You've negotiated change orders where the contractor's position was well-argued and wrong.
You run meetings that end in decisions with owners and dates.
You've managed design teams and contractors simultaneously without becoming the bottleneck.
Your project documentation has survived a claim or an audit.
Bonus: Data center or mission critical projects. EPC or design-build contracts. Cost control tooling. Commissioning handover.
We are committed to pay equity and transparency.

The Deployment Engineering Team Examples of key problems the team is working on
Turn 10s to 100s of GWs of design into built, running infrastructure. The Design team sets the blueprint. This team is where it survives contact with a live construction schedule and becomes a real site.
Close the gap between engineering-complete and operations-ready. A design that passes review still has to survive commissioning, integration, and energization, and that gap is where deployment work lives.
Make the tenth site faster and cleaner than the first. Every deployment feeds field learnings back into the standards, so a one-off fight at one site becomes a repeatable playbook at the next.
Hand off infrastructure that's reliable from the moment it goes live. AI compute workloads don't tolerate a shaky handover, so what this team commissions has to run right the day operations takes over.
Role Scope Lead end-to-end deployment and commissioning of BMS, SCADA, and EPMS systems across concurrent greenfield sites, from pre-deployment readiness through live handover to operations.
Own operational reliability of deployed control systems across the live fleet, driving root cause analysis on failures and closing out permanent fixes that stop repeat incidents.
Build and maintain the commissioning standards, acceptance test procedures, and runbooks that any site team can execute without central support.
Lead integrated systems testing, functional acceptance, and live cutover on site, resolving integration failures before they delay handover.
Set and enforce controls reliability standards across the portfolio: alarm rationalization, control loop tuning, redundancy validation, and failover testing.
What We're Looking For The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would .
You hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
You've owned field deployment and commissioning of controls systems on industrial or mission-critical facilities from end to end.
You've commissioned and troubleshooted PLCs, SCADA systems, and HMIs on at least one major platform (Rockwell, Siemens, Ignition, or equivalent) in live environments.
You've built commissioning standards, acceptance test procedures, and reliability runbooks that hold up at a portfolio level, not just for a single site.
You've diagnosed and resolved control system failures and integration issues on live or commissioning-phase infrastructure under time pressure.
You've mentored controls engineers in the field and built their ability to commission independently.
You can travel to deployment and operations sites 50 to 70 percent of the time.
Bonus: Professional Engineer (PE) license. Data center BMS/EPMS experience across chilled water, HVAC, power monitoring, and data hall environmental systems. Experience building or leading a controls commissioning or reliability program across multiple concurrent sites. Familiarity with CMMS platforms, ISA-18.2 alarm management, and IEC 62443 control system cybersecurity. Experience with controls system virtualization, remote monitoring, and automated diagnostics.
Compensation : $300,000 - $340,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Offers equity in the form of stock options.
We are committed to pay equity and transparency.
