We have an opportunity for a Project Manager/Sr. Civil Engineer with land development experience to lead projects for clients in the public and private sectors. The position could be based our Wilkes-Barre, Olyphant, Hazleton offices. Because our employees are usually involved in several projects at one time, involving numerous team members (such as project manager, engineer, and CAD technician/designer), exceptional communications skills and the ability to work well with others is essential. Our ideal candidate will be a Professional (Civil) Engineer with at least five years’ experience in the design and management of land development projects. They should have experience in a project management role including building and maintaining client relations and working with a team to successfully complete land development projects. Responsibilities: Design of subdivisions and land development Zoning and approvals process Stormwater management Site design, grading, and erosion and sediment control plans Site utilities PennDOT/DEP permitting Hydraulic calculations Cost estimating Preparing project proposals and managing contracts, reports, and invoicing Hiring/mentoring/managing junior engineers and designers
