Job Title: Senior Engineer Location: Baxley, Georgia Type: 12 month Contract Compensation: $63.00 hourly Contractor Work Model: Onsite System One is currently seeking a Senior Engineer on a 12 month contract position located in Baxley, GA. Senior Engineer Responsibilities: Responsible for applying engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to design and construct power related systrems. Supports estimate preparation, develops design options, and prepares construction specifications. Provide guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages. Create a safe work environment by putting safety first. Understand the process used for planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance. Understand the functions and activities of various internal departments involved in design, construction, and maintenance. Understand design practices and work processes. Use all software applications used in design. Understand industry and Company design standards. Support design standard and criteria development for the system. Support construction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations. Estimate material for projects, transmitting construction packages and supporting specifications. Senior Engineer Requirements: 10+ years of related experience and an accredited bachelor’s degree Advanced engineering knowledge Advanced problem-solving skills Discretion making independent decisions based on procedure Advanced discipline software knowledge Strong work ethic Ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors Previous experience as a design engineer, system engineer, program engineer, maintenance engineer, or procurement engineer Previous experience in procurement engineering is preferred Must be familiar with SNC engineering processes such as ABNs, ADCs, and Equivalency Evaluations Must be familiar with Maximo and D2 Applications.
