About Adlib

Adlib is the document-to-decision engine for regulated industries. Our AI agents turn the documents and emails work arrives as into accurate, auditable decisions, with every value traced to its source. In September 2026 Adlib acquired Paperbox, the mail-to-decision engine for insurance, trusted by more than 100 European insurers. Together we serve a global customer base across insurance and other regulated industries, backed by Diversis Capital.

The role

We are hiring a VP, Global Marketing to lead marketing across North America and Europe. You will own marketing-sourced pipeline for insurance and marketing’s retention and expansion targets for our installed base, lead the brand through the next phase of the company’s evolution, and build the North American demand engine on a proven European playbook. You are quantitative and data driven: every program has a number, every dollar has a return. You will run an AI-powered marketing function, using the latest AI tools across content, campaigns, outbound and operations, and bring creative energy to a category where most vendors sound the same. You will lead a senior team spanning marketing operations, field marketing in North America and Europe, and GTM engineering, and partner closely with Sales, Product and Customer Success.

What you will do

  • Pipeline: own marketing-sourced pipeline, coverage and conversion targets for insurance, globally
  • Installed base: own marketing’s retention and expansion targets for customers outside insurance; customer, partner and lifecycle marketing that supports renewal and growth
  • North America: build the demand engine, field and event led, replicating the European playbook that won our first 100 insurers
  • Data driven: run marketing on the numbers; test, measure and reallocate spend to what converts
  • AI-powered marketing: run the function on the latest AI tools, including Claude and Regie.ai, across content, campaigns, outbound, account intelligence and reporting; more output per person, measured
  • Creative: bring distinctive ideas to campaigns, events and content; make Adlib and Paperbox the brands buyers remember
  • Brand: lead the global brand transition to an insurance-led, agentic company for regulated industries; land one brand architecture across Adlib and Paperbox and one web presence that serves every customer segment
  • Positioning: steward company and solution messaging; ensure consistent execution across regions, channels and sales enablement
  • Team and budget: lead and develop the global team; own the marketing budget and its return
  • Measurement: run one funnel from first touch to close; report pipeline, coverage, cost per opportunity, win rate and installed base results to the executive team and board monthly

What success looks like: first 90 days

  • Know the product: Adlib and Paperbox, what we sell, to whom, and why we win
  • Know the customers: time with insurance and installed base accounts, Sales and Customer Success
  • Know the funnel: what is working and what is not, by region, channel and program, with the data to prove it
  • Know the team: one global operating cadence across ops, field and GTM engineering
  • Deliver a diagnostic and a 12-month marketing plan to the executive team, with targets by quarter for insurance and the installed base
  • North American programs live on the proven European playbook
  • First creative ideas tested in market: one campaign, one event, one piece of content
  • AI operating model in place: tools, workflows and standards across the team
  • Funnel reporting in place: pipeline, coverage, cost per opportunity, win rate
  • Brand roadmap agreed with the executive team

What you bring

Required

  • 10+ years in B2B software marketing, 5+ leading teams
  • 5+ years of Insurance technology experience: carriers, MGAs, TPAs and their ecosystem
  • Scaled marketing at a growth-stage company ($15M to $40M ARR); PE-backed experience preferred
  • Quantitative and data driven: owned a pipeline number; fluent in funnel math, attribution, unit economics, marketing automation and Salesforce
  • Hands-on with AI tools across marketing, such as Claude and Regie.ai; has rebuilt workflows around them, not just trialed them
  • A portfolio of creative work that stood out in B2B and produced pipeline
  • Field and event led demand generation, hands-on
  • Marketed to an installed base across more than one industry
  • Led marketing across North America and Europe

Preferred

  • Launched a European product in North America, or replicated a playbook across regions
  • Led a rebrand or brand integration following an acquisition
  • Claims or underwriting domain knowledge

Role

VP of Marketing

Payments infrastructure · Full-time · Remote-first with travel

Role Overview

There are a million stablecoin companies. No one is the best at everything. Cyclops offers all the benefits of other leading stablecoin platforms (by fully integrating them), while complementing their weaknesses (each of which have many). This only matters if the leaders in the payments industry understand this.

We are looking for a VP of Marketing to own how Cyclops establishes itself in the world as the leader in stablecoin solutions for payments companies, across our digital presence, every conference, and every interaction with the payments ecosystem. This is a senior individual contributor role with a mandate to constantly identify, generate and own opportunities to move Cyclops to the #1 position when payments companies work on stablecoin solutions.

To be qualified, you must be a payments industry pro, who understands how these companies operate inside and out, from their partnerships and geographic foci, to their internal processes for decision-making and product development.

You will be responsible for owning thought leadership strategy, grow our digital presence (primarily in terms of SEO and AIO), drive our presence at the top payments conferences worldwide, and ensure that Cyclops is the name that comes up when PSPs, networks, and acquirers think about who they want to build with.

This role requires someone with deep payments experience, who has lived inside of a leading payments company or one of the top platforms they partner with. If you have not worked at a payments orchestrator, PSP, network, acquirer, or a platform whose primary function is foundational to how payments companies operate, this is likely not the right role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand — messaging hierarchies, visual systems, tone of voice, and overall positioning. Own and evolve these as Cyclops grows.
  • Thought leadership — content strategy, POV development, white papers, reports, bylines, and executive visibility across the payments press and conference circuit.
  • Field marketing — end-to-end ownership of our presence at payments conferences worldwide. You will know which events to attend, which to skip, how to work the room, how to get the most out of sponsorships, and how to build relationships with event organizers that give Cyclops access others do not have.
  • Digital brand presence — website brand expression, SEO strategy, AIO/GEO positioning, and how Cyclops appears across organic and AI-driven search. You will understand what it means to rank in 2025 and beyond, not just 2019.
  • Marketing analytics — own the measurement framework for brand. You will define what good looks like, track it, and report it clearly to leadership.
  • Analyst and press relations — build company relationships with payments analysts, journalists, and influencers who shape how the industry thinks.
  • Partner and client co-marketing — work with our clients and partners to develop co-branded content and activations that extend Cyclops' reach.

The Payments Conference You Know Cold

You have informed opinions on leading events like those listed below. You know organizers and which companies invest heavily and why. You know the floor plan. You know which side of the room to be on and which cocktail party is worth staying late for:

  • Money20/20 (US and Europe)
  • Fintech Meetup
  • Token 2049
  • MAG

You have a view on which of these move the needle for a company at our stage and which are vanity. You will build our annual conference calendar from scratch and defend every line item.

Required Qualifications

  • Ready to roll up your sleeves. This job description was written by our founders. We founded, scaled and sold a company in 2022 to Shift4. We’ve never been hungrier. Our most senior people outwork our junior people by a wide margin. You will be building a brand, not taking one over and overseeing others to keep trains running on time.
  • Our ideal candidate has worked at one or more of: a payments orchestrator (Spreedly, Primer, Gr4vy, IXOPAY, Corefy, CellPoint Digital, or equivalent), a PSP, a network, an acquirer, or a payments-first platform whose clients are payment companies.
  • Deep familiarity with the payments conference circuit — not simply as an attendee, but as someone who has planned, staffed, and owned event strategy and execution.
  • Strong grasp of digital brand and SEO/AIO in a B2B context. You understand how AI search is changing discoverability and you have strong strategies for how to win.
  • Deep understanding of consumer psychology. Social proof, emotional triggers, trust, authority, etc. You can make everything more effective, from booth messaging, to a hero page, to a pitch deck or an annual report. These documents are not simply accurate and consistent with the brand, but they are striving to earn the interest and trust of our audience.
  • A network in payments. You know people. They know you.

What We Do Not Want

  • Marketing generalists with no payments experience. Industry knowledge is the baseline, not a nice-to-have.
  • Agency or consulting backgrounds without in-house payments operator experience.
  • Leaders who manage from a distance. This role requires hands-on execution alongside strategy.
  • Anyone whose definition of field marketing is "booking the booth." We need someone who thinks about field marketing as a revenue and relationship function.

Reporting Structure

You will report directly to Co-Founder Pat Duffy, who has a decade of experience in marketing and brand - turning their last startup from unknown into market-leader.

Compensation and Benefits

We believe great people do their best work when they’re supported both professionally and personally. As a U.S. team member, you'll receive competitive pay and a benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and life outside of work. This includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, company holidays, and other perks that help you thrive in and out of work.

Additional Benefits

  • Company issued laptop
  • Technology Accessories
  • Annual In-Person Full-Team Meetup

How To Apply

Please include a short note with bullet points — not a cover letter — briefly describing:

  • Your payments industry experience
  • Conferences you have owned
  • What you believe will move the needle most for growing the Cyclops brand in the payments industry.

*The founders will read your submission, so take advantage of the opportunity to stand out.
