Vice President, Product Management
Magna Legal Services
Magna Legal Services is a trusted nationwide partner to law firms, corporations, insurance carriers, and government agencies, delivering comprehensive legal support at every stage of a case. From court reporting and record retrieval to jury consulting, investigations, litigation graphics, and language services, we help our clients navigate complex legal challenges with confidence. Our reputation is built on the expertise, dedication, and professionalism of our team, and we’re proud to foster a culture where talented people can do meaningful work and grow their careers.
Magna Legal Services is seeking a Vice President of Product Management to build and lead consistent product management practices across the company. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, this leader will lead Magna’s product management team and work with Business Unit leadership in a matrixed environment to bring structure, process, and discipline to how Magna evaluates, develops, launches, and improves its products and services.
The VP will contribute to product strategy by bringing client, market, and operational insights to planning and prioritization. Working closely with leaders across Commercial (including Sales, Marketing, and Client Success), Technology, Operations, and Magna’s Business Units, including court reporting, records retrieval, jury consulting, investigations, trial technology, and language services, the VP will help turn strategic priorities into well-defined roadmaps and coordinated execution. Product sits at the center of these groups: the VP serves as the bridge between the Business Units, Technology, Sales, Marketing, and Client Success, and owns enterprise-wide products that do not fall neatly within a single Business Unit, such as the client portal.
Magna’s product managers will report directly to the VP of Product Management, with a dotted line to their respective Business Unit leaders. The dotted-line relationship reflects that the Business Units own their product and offering strategy; product managers will work closely with their Business Unit leaders to ensure product development is directed by and consistent with Business Unit priorities.
The VP will also work through Magna’s Product Council, chaired by the Chief Strategy Officer, which brings together executive, commercial, and technology leadership, including the CTO, to align product priorities across the company. The VP will partner closely with the CTO and Engineering leadership, who will be actively involved in shaping product priorities, roadmaps, and feasibility decisions, so that product direction and technology strategy move forward together.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and manage Magna’s product managers, who report directly to the VP with a dotted line to their Business Unit leaders.
- Own the strategy, roadmap, and performance of enterprise-wide products that serve multiple Business Units, such as the client portal.
- Establish product management processes, standards, and governance that support consistent decision-making across Magna.
- Introduce best practices for product discovery, opportunity assessment, prioritization, requirements development, launch planning, and ongoing improvement.
- Contribute to product strategy by sharing client feedback, market insights, portfolio assessments, and product performance data.
- Translate company and service-line priorities into clear product roadmaps, business requirements, and execution plans.
- Facilitate cross-functional planning and decision-making among Business Unit, Technology, Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and Operations leaders, including through Magna’s Product Council.
- Guide product initiatives from initial concept through development, launch, adoption, and refinement.
- Develop practical tools and frameworks to evaluate opportunities, build business cases, assess feasibility, and measure expected impact.
- Partner with CTO/Engineering team to ensure engineering produces development timelines with enough specificity around milestones and sequencing to enable the PM to monitor and report out on progress.
- Define and monitor measures of product performance, such as adoption, client outcomes, revenue contribution, and operational effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing products and services, and coordinate the work needed to advance them.
- Build organizational understanding of product management roles, processes, and decision rights.
Desired Background
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Significant experience in product management, product operations, or product development, ideally in professional services, legal services, technology-enabled services, or a related environment.
- Demonstrated success establishing or improving product management processes and cross-functional ways of working.
- Experience coordinating products or services through discovery, development, launch, and ongoing improvement.
- Strong ability to translate client and business needs into requirements, roadmaps, and actionable plans.
- Experience with prioritization, business cases, product performance measures, or go-to-market planning.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to build alignment among senior stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the judgment to introduce process that supports effective execution.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic organization and building structure where processes are still developing.
Success in This Role
Success will mean that Magna has clear, repeatable product management practices; teams have a shared process for assessing and advancing product opportunities; and product decisions are supported by client insight, business priorities, and measurable outcomes.

Intapp
VP, Product Management, Profitability
AI is changing how professional firms price, staff, deliver, and get paid for their work. As the VP, Product Management, Profitability, you will own the product portfolio behind Intapp Time, Intapp Billstream, and the Intapp Celeste capabilities applied to profitability. Your mandate is to move these products from systems that record and review work to agentic systems that govern revenue from capture through invoice. You will report to the General Manager of the Profitability Business Unit.
Day to day, you will set the roadmap, lead and develop a team of product managers, and partner with Engineering, Services, Product Marketing, and Sales to ship product and own the outcomes it produces after launch. This role calls for deep work-to-cash product leadership, AI product management, and the credibility to represent the product with clients, analysts, and partners.
What you will do
As a VP, Product Management, Profitability, you can expect to:
- Own the product roadmap across Intapp Time, Intapp Billstream, and Celeste-powered profitability capabilities, with deep ownership of the work-to-cash domain from pricing and scoping through time capture, work in process, pre-bill review, and collections. Sequence the roadmap against revenue commitments and launch milestones, and defend tradeoffs with evidence.
- Build and lead the product management team. Hire, level, coach, and develop product managers against a clear standard for discovery, problem statements, pricing and packaging input, launch readiness, and post-launch outcome ownership.
- Make AI-native product judgment a repeatable discipline. Establish how the team specifies agent behavior, sets confidence and escalation thresholds, instruments quality, and meets the governance and auditability standards professional firms expect of AI.
- Run execution across functions. Partner with Engineering on velocity, quality, and release commitments, with Services on deployment and migration, and with Product Marketing and Sales on launch and field readiness. Own product health and the monthly product review for the business unit.
- Serve as the senior product voice with clients, prospects, analysts, and partners, and bring what you learn in those conversations back into the roadmap as evidence.
What you will need
Intapp is looking for intellectually curious, self-motivated professionals who like to get hands-on to contribute to the overall success of the business and their team. To apply for this VP, Product Management, Profitability role, you will ideally have:
- Product management leadership in B2B enterprise software, including leading a team through a platform or architectural transition and owning the roadmap for products with a large installed base, such as migration, end-of-life, and modernization programs.
- Direct product ownership of billing, invoicing, revenue capture, pricing, or order-to-cash and work-to-cash systems, with commercial fluency in pricing, packaging, and the economics of professional firms.
- A track record of building the product management function itself: hiring, leveling, coaching, and raising the standard of practice across a team.
- Experience taking AI or machine learning products from concept to adoption, including specifying agent behavior and designing for governance, auditability, and human oversight.
- Technical fluency across data platforms, APIs, integrations, and enterprise architecture, enough to hold your position in build-versus-integrate decisions.
- Credibility with clients, analysts, and partners, and the ability to carry a product narrative in front of firm leadership. Experience in a regulated industry or professional services firm is preferred, and legal tech or law firm experience is a strong plus.
