Coaching Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist/Teach an energetic & motivating class, connect & challenge each child, help them to accomplish motor development & skill goals & inspire a love of movement & healthy habits in an organized, structured & FUN manner.
• Provide individual and group attention to children.
• Show up on time to class, physically and mentally prepared (includes commuting time).
• For ALL age groups, you have to be able to mentally be at a level where the child needs you to be and make soccer FUN for them.

Non-Coaching Duties & Responsibilities as needed:

Equipment: Assist with the distribution & upkeep of equipment needed.

Hiring: Assist the hiring manager with sourcing & screening potential candidates.

Marketing/Branding: Manage the ordering, printing, & distribution of flyers, posters & signage.

Observations: Recording classes for coach development video feedback

Requirements

• Able & willing to travel throughout Passaic County and North East New Jersey to class locations

• Availability must include weekday mornings (9a-12p) weekday afternoon (12p - 3p) &/or early evenings (3p-6p)

As a coach, you will have the opportunity to work with children aged 4-10yrs to improve their soccer skills while instilling confidence and physical literacy. Super Soccer Stars is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to inspire young athletes aged 2-12 through our non-competitive soccer programs. As a part-time coach, you'll lead engaging, fun-filled activities that nurture a passion for soccer while promoting essential life skills in a safe and supportive environment.

The Position:

As a Part-Time Youth Soccer Coach, you'll be responsible for creating an enjoyable and enriched learning experience for children during classes. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children, whether as a sports coach, teacher, or mentor, and possess a genuine love for fostering their growth and development.

Availability Requirements:

Flexibility is key as we offer varying class schedules between weekday mornings and afternoons + weekend mornings. More specifically, candidates must have availability in the following windows:

Monday - Friday:

• 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• 2:00 - 4:30 PM

Weekends:

• 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a sports or educational environment.

• Reliable transportation to travel to various class locations (typically within 15-30 minutes).

We are looking to hire an energetic and fun-loving Soccer Coach! (no prior soccer experience required)

Who will lead our children in fun and educational activities while ensuring safety for all. Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader), and enjoys working with children. This position is excellent for someone who has an interest in pursuing early childhood education, or child development. New Coaches can work 5-25 classes a week and can earn from $18 per hour up to $35 per hour.

Location: Classes are held at schools, daycares, pre-schools, parks, and recreational centers across NOVA. Depending on the location of the coach's primary residence they may be required to travel up to an hour to get to a class location.

Requirements

• High school diploma with some college (preferred)
• You must hold a valid driver's license, and a reliable personal transportation.
• The ideal candidate would be available most Monday-Saturday mornings and/or afternoons.
• Being physically active, punctual, and organized is part of life

• Ability to work with kids ranging from 18 months to 15 years old
• Demonstrates a history of integrity, doing what is right even when nobody is looking
