Social Media Manager (Part-time)

The Athletic Clubs

**
United States
Part Time
Posted 27 days ago

Who We Are
Club Athletic is a premium members' training club with locations across New York City, Chicago and Hoboken. Our members train in squads: small, consistent groups that show up for each other. We're growing fast, and our social channels are where people first meet the club.

About the Role
You'll run our Instagram and TikTok day to day, so they feel alive, consistent and true to the club. Our Director of Marketing sets the monthly editorial calendar. Our in-house content producer, coaches and members supply the photos and video. Your job is to turn that into a steady, on-brand presence and a community that feels looked after.

What You'll Do

  • Publish: write captions and schedule feed posts and reels across our main and Chicago accounts, following the monthly calendar
  • Edit short-form video: cut light TikToks and reels from raw footage, including trend formats, quick recaps, text overlays and audio
  • Run daily stories: turn raw footage from clubs, coaches and members into timely, on-brand stories
  • Manage the community: reply to comments and DMs every day, answer prospect questions, and guide interested people to book a call
  • Coordinate: request and organize assets from the content producer, coaches and club teams, and keep the content library tidy
  • Report: bring weekly organic performance to our creative performance review, and suggest what to do more or less of
  • Contribute ideas: share trends and formats that fit our brand as input to monthly planning

When You'll Work

  • About 4 hours a day on weekdays and about 2 hours a day on weekends, to keep coverage consistent 7 days a week
  • Flexible within those windows. Some overlap with Eastern Time is needed.

Where You'll Be
This role is remote, but we'll prioritize candidates based in Chicago, Miami, San Francisco or Boston. If you're local to one of our current or upcoming markets, you may occasionally capture content in person at events or clubs.

What You'll Need

  • 2+ years managing social for a brand, ideally in fitness, wellness, hospitality or lifestyle
  • Proficiency in Canva and CapCut. You can turn raw clips into a polished, on-trend reel quickly.
  • Sharp, concise writing, and the ability to match an established brand voice
  • A native feel for Instagram and TikTok formats, trends and community norms
  • Experience with a scheduling tool
  • Reliable, organized habits. You don't miss a day.
  • Bonus: experience turning social conversations into leads or bookings

What We Offer

  • $28–32/hour, depending on experience
  • Fully remote, with a flexible schedule inside coverage windows
  • Club membership perks if you're near one of our locations
  • A creative, ambitious team building something members really care about
  • 401k + match
