We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to drive quality engineering practices across a next-generation Workforce Management (WFM) and Customer Experience (CX) platform. You will own test automation across the full test pyramid (unit, component, integration, contract, end-to-end, and performance), with a strong focus on component and integration testing of cloud-native applications and microservices. You will build and maintain automated test frameworks using JUnit and Playwright or Cypress, ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of the platform. The role involves close collaboration with software engineers, architects, product teams, and domain experts across Workforce Management, including forecasting and schedule generation and optimization. The ideal candidate combines strong test automation expertise with a quality-first mindset and the ability to influence engineering practices across the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and/or Cypress, JUnit, and modern test automation practices.
  • Build and execute automated test suites at every level: unit (JUnit), component, integration, contract, API, end-to-end, and regression.
  • Own component and integration testing of microservices, validating service behavior, data flows, and API contracts both in isolation and across service boundaries (e.g., using Testcontainers, WireMock, or Pact).
  • Design and run performance and load tests to validate scalability, throughput, and response times under peak contact-center volumes.
  • Design and automate test scenarios for Workforce Management functionality, including forecasting, schedule generation, and scheduling rules and constraints.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and quality standards.
  • Analyze defects, identify root causes, and drive quality improvements across the SDLC.
  • Establish quality engineering standards, reusable automation assets, and test strategies across multiple product streams.
  • 6+ years of QA Automation experience.
  • Proven experience designing component and integration test suites for Java microservices (e.g., Spring Boot Test, Testcontainers, WireMock, REST Assured);
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Cypress using TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • Experience with contract testing (e.g., Pact, Spring Cloud Contract).
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools and practices (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, k6).
  • Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Experience testing WFM forecasting and scheduling engines or other complex rule-based business systems, e.g., validating forecast outputs against historical volume and handle-time data, staffing calculations against service-level targets, and generated schedules against labor rules, shift patterns, breaks, and skills.
  • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Contact Center, CX, CCaaS, Routing, or Voice platforms.
  • Understanding of telephony, IVR, call flows, agent routing, and customer interaction systems.

We offer:

  • Culture of relentless performance: join an unstoppable technology development team with a 99% project success rate and more than 30% year-over-year revenue growth.
  • Competitive pay and benefits: enjoy a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including health insurance, language courses, and a relocation program.
  • ForeverRemote work culture: make the most of the flexibility that comes with remote work.
  • Growth mindset: reap the benefits of a range of professional development opportunities, including certification programs, mentorship and talent investment programs, internal mobility and internship opportunities.
  • Global impact: collaborate on impactful projects for top global clients and shape the future of industries.
  • Welcoming multicultural environment: be a part of a dynamic, global team and thrive in an inclusive and supportive work environment with open communication and regular team-building company social events.
  • Social sustainability values: join our sustainable business practices focused on five pillars, including IT education, community empowerment, fair operating practices, environmental sustainability, and gender equality.
