Forensic Accountant - Chicago, IL

Contract Duration: 12+ months | Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Provide client-facing support for financial investigations through data ingestion, standardization, categorization, analysis, and reporting.

Required Skills:

• Problem-solving using accounting and financial procedures.
• Evaluate controls associated with business processes.
• Experience analyzing financial and business records.
• Use of investigative tools and databases.
• Organize and analyze financial data and conduct bank statement reconciliation.
• Analyze money flow trends and create visualizations for complex stories.
• Client-facing experience and comfort working directly with clients.
• Strong Excel skills.
• 4+ years of experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with federal government agencies in forensic accounting.
• Work with attorneys to explain and analyze financial activity.
• Familiarity with fiat and crypto monetary instruments.
• PowerBI/Tableau skills.

Expected Deliverables:

• Flow of funds analysis, network analysis charts, dashboard building, and legal exhibits development.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree
