AI Proficiency at Sword
AI fluency is a core expectation at Sword. Every candidate is assessed against our three-level framework — be ready to share real examples of how AI is already part of how you work.
Explorer (Level 1) — Uses AI daily to boost personal productivity
Builder (Level 2) — Creates workflows and tools that elevate the whole team
Integrator (Level 3) — Embeds AI into products and processes at scale
Every hire must demonstrate at least Level 1. The expected level will vary depending on the seniority of the role.
Role
Sword Health is a multi-product commercial organization selling across the employer and health plan markets. The Director of Revenue Operations leads the team that keeps the revenue engine accurate, fast and scalable: CRM and systems, pipeline and forecasting, deal desk and contracting, and commercial reporting. You manage a small senior team and are the go-to partner for sales leadership on how we plan, sell and close. The right person has built RevOps in a complex enterprise sale, is comfortable in the Salesforce admin console and in front of the CRO, and treats process as a product.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead and grow the RevOps team (systems, analytics): set priorities, run the intake process and coach the team on stakeholder management
- Own the forecasting process and pipeline hygiene: stage definitions, exit criteria, inspection cadence and weekly forecast calls with sales leadership
- Own the GTM tech stack and roadmap (Salesforce, CLM, Gong, enrichment and BI tools) and keep data quality high enough that leaders trust the numbers
- Build and maintain commercial reporting: pipeline coverage, conversion, cycle time, win rates, bookings and rep productivity
- Support annual and quarterly planning: territory design, capacity models, quota setting and compensation plan operations
- Find and remove friction in the deal lifecycle, using automation and AI to give sellers time back
What you need to have
- 8+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations or Deal Desk, with 3+ years managing a team
- Deep, hands-on Salesforce expertise (objects, flows, reporting) and experience owning a GTM systems roadmap
- Track record of building forecasting and pipeline management processes that sales leaders actually use
- Experience running or partnering closely with a Deal Desk on enterprise contracts with multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills (SQL or BI tools a plus) and the judgement to know which numbers matter
- Experience with CPQ/CLM tools (Ironclad, Spotdraft or equivalent) and Gong
- Experience applying AI or automation to RevOps workflows

This is a starting point, not a ceiling — once someone joins and proves they're outlier talent, we adjust quickly to make sure their compensation matches their impact.
Job titles may span more than one career level, so actual pay depends on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and market demand, among other factors. The range reflects base salary plus any variable, bonus, or sales incentives, and our estimate of the value of private company stock options where applicable. It's subject to change, and future stock value isn't guaranteed. Sword also offers additional benefits beyond total compensation.
