The Role
We're looking for a Program Manager to lead delivery on an enterprise data platform program. You'll own the health of the program end to end — schedule, scope, risk, staffing, and the relationship with our government customer — while keeping our engineering teams unblocked and delivering in an Agile cadence. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who runs disciplined programs, communicates crisply, and thrives at the intersection of technical delivery and federal stakeholder management.
What You'll Do
- Own overall program delivery: cost, schedule, scope, quality, and risk across all task areas
- Lead contract kickoff and stand up the program, including the approach, work plan, and onboarding plan
- Author and maintain the Project Management Plan — schedule, milestones, risks, and resource plan — and keep it current throughout the period of performance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO), COR, and government Program Manager/Product Owner; deliver clear, on-time status reporting and dashboards

- Manage staffing, subcontractor coordination, and cross-team dependencies to keep delivery on track
- Track and deliver contract deliverables (status dashboards, staff rosters, issue logs, reports) on schedule and to standard
- Identify risks and schedule issues early, and drive them to resolution with the customer and delivery teams
What You Bring
- 7+ years managing technical programs or projects, including delivery of software or data/cloud solutions
- Proven experience leading Agile delivery teams (Scrum/SAFe) and running program ceremonies
- Strong command of program controls: scheduling, risk management, resource planning, and status reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to represent the company confidently to government stakeholders
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multi-vendor teams
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust background investigation
- U.S. work authorization; must reside within the Continental U.S.
Nice to Have
- PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certification
- Direct experience delivering on federal programs, ideally in a data, analytics, or cloud context
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure/AWS), data governance, or AI/ML program delivery
- Experience with federal IT delivery frameworks and Agile governance
- Veteran or military-affiliated candidates strongly encouraged to apply
- Salary Range-$150-$155k

Program Manager, Government
For People
For People is improving government digital services for the disadvantaged population. We work directly with government agencies to modernize software, systems, and platforms so that they better serve people.
Your Impact
Every month, hundreds of thousands of people go looking for facts about Medicare and Medicaid. They are researchers, reporters, policy staff, and health care providers. When the data is hard to find, a file is too large to post, or a column quietly changes its name between releases, their work slows down or goes wrong.
This project supports the website where the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) publishes that data for the public. It hosts a large catalog of datasets, lookup tools, and dashboards from across the agency, available for download, as interactive tools, and via a public API. As Program Manager, you will lead the team that builds and runs it. This is a hands-on role. You’ll facilitate partner meetings, support the team when they are blocked, and get into project details as needed to report clearly on the team’s progress. You’ll work elbow-to-elbow with the project’s technical and product leadership. You will learn about the work enough to identify and help mitigate delivery risks and hold the team accountable for what we promise to government partners.
This position is a full-time position contingent on For People being awarded a federal contract. If awarded, this position’s expected start date is February 2027.
Our Culture
For People is a team of humans. We place a significant amount of emphasis on positive work-life balance, setting healthy expectations, and making sure our loved ones are taken care of first. That means picking a child up from school during the day or going for a mid-day walk is okay!
This position is 100% remote. Our entire team is remote across the United States, from the West Coast to the East Coast. There will never be a return-to-office, as we have none! Occasional travel to CMS headquarters in Baltimore, MD (2-3 times per year) is required. These trips are infrequent and scheduled well in advance.
This full-time position's published base salary range is between $100,000 and $160,000 annually. This band ranges across both the Program Manager and Senior Program Manager pay band, which will be determined based on relevant experience. All positions include generous benefits (e.g., For People pays 100% of Gold-tier employee health insurance premiums) and annual company profit sharing.
Your Opportunities
On this project, you will be the delivery lead on a cross-functional team of about 15 people spanning engineering, design, user research, and support functions. The team may expand to up to 25 members in the future. As the Program Manager, you will:
- Build a collaborative and trusting team culture across all disciplines in the program
- Run agile practices including sprints, planning cycles, demos, and retrospectives, all of which include CMS stakeholders
- Coordinate with CMS offices that publish data on the public portal; share progress transparently and build positive working relationships with partner contracting teams
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to project delivery
- Keep the program in line with contract, security, and accessibility requirements, including Section 508 and the site's Authority to Operate (ATO)
- Report status and outcomes to CMS and For People leadership, using live dashboards wherever possible and finding efficiency gains through automation
- Lead the handoff from the current contractor in your first few months so users see no disruption
You Bring
- A humble and caring attitude aligning with For People’s values: passion, fun, curiosity, sustainability, humility, and respect
- 8+ years of relevant experience in program or project management, including managing government contracts
- Degree in management, public administration, information technology, or a related field
- Experience with open data projects
- Experience managing cross-functional teams, with the ability to lead teams of 15 to 25 people as the contract grows
- Deep knowledge of agile product management principles
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, and GitHub
- Ability to oversee all aspects of task order management including reporting, sprint planning, and project planning
- Experience facilitating stakeholder engagement across multiple government agency offices and data owners
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
- Experience working directly with CMS programs or data
- Experience with public websites built on Drupal
- Experience leading a contract transition from an incumbent team
Some Fine Print
You will be working on a United States government platform, and they have a few basic requirements for contractors like ourselves. All work must be physically performed within the United States at all times. In addition, you must be a United States citizen and be able to pass a government-performed public trust background check.
For People is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, and/or veteran status.

Sr Program Manager, Client Delivery
Sureify
About Sureify
Sureify builds the digital platform life and annuity carriers use to sell, serve and grow. Our products — LifetimeACQUIRE, LifetimeAGENT, LifetimeSERVICE and CoreCONNECT — power quote-to-issue, agent portals, policyholder self-service and the data layer behind them. Carriers like Amica, AAA Life, Nationwide and Farmers rely on Sureify to support more than 1.5 million agent and policyholder interactions every month.
About the role
Sureify is hiring a Sr Program Manager to own delivery of a multi-year, multi-workstream carrier engagement. You will run it from Solution Design Workshop handoff through go-live and transition into managed services, landing it on scope, schedule and budget.
You will report to the Sr. Director, Practice Lead, and work alongside Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, engineering, QA and product teams. You are the carrier's day-to-day delivery counterpart and the practice's source of truth on engagement health.
What you'll do
Lead multi-workstream programs
- Turn confirmed SDW scope into an integrated implementation plan: epics, milestones, dependencies and a resource-loaded timeline.
- Run several concurrent workstreams (platform configuration, integrations, forms, data migration, vendor deliverables) as one program with one critical path.
- Ensure successful execution of timelines, budget, scope and delivery quality across a large, complex program.
- Run kickoff and Sprint 0, including the client prerequisites checklist: forms, system access, credentials and sandbox environments.
Own budget and commercial health
- Manage delivery to the fixed schedule including tracking hours used, estimate to complete, estimate at completion and variance reporting.
- Forecast overruns early and bring the Sr. Director a recommendation, not just a number.
- Maintain the SOW assumptions baseline, identify change-order triggers, and draft and negotiate change orders with the carrier.
Manage risk and dependencies
- Own the RAID log and the query log of open carrier questions; review weekly and drive aging items to closure.
- Anticipate cross-workstream and client-side risks and dependencies and develop mitigation plans before they block delivery.
- Escalate early and clearly when a risk threatens milestones, budget or the relationship.
- Coach others on the team in issue management.
Own reporting, documentation and metrics
- Produce the weekly internal briefing and manage content for client-facing status deck, with objective Schedule, Scope, Quality and Budget ratings.
- Track decisions and action items through to closure.
- Own detailed program documentation and dashboards.
- Establish and refine program success metrics and run post-launch evaluations.
- Tailor communication to each audience, from unit leads to executives.
Lead the client relationship day-to-day
- Serve as the primary delivery counterpart to the carrier's program and project leads, running weekly status meetings and providing detailed metrics for Sr. Director managed steering committees.
- Build trust with carrier program and project stakeholders and spot expansion opportunities for the Sr. Director.
Coordinate across Sureify
- Drive collaboration across multiple internal and external teams, aligning Scrum Masters, BAs, engineering, QA and support around shared milestones.
- Route base-product gaps to Product and track them as program dependencies.
- Manage third-party integration vendors and their timelines.
Drive quality through go-live
- Own acceptance gate readiness, UAT planning, migration readiness, cutover and hypercare.
- Recommend go/no-go decisions and run a clean handoff into managed services.
What you bring
- 6 to 10 years of project delivery experience in SaaS or insurtech, including complex client engagements.
- A track record of leading multi-year engagements valued at up to $10M, with direct accountability for budget, margin-relevant hours and change orders.
- Experience running 2 or more concurrent workstreams (for example configuration, integrations, data migration and vendor deliverables) under one integrated plan.
