Product Marketing Manager (Remote friendly)
Imagine Communications
Overview
Every day, Imagine Communications is delivering billions of media moments all over the world — anywhere, anytime, and on any device. Imagine Communications delivers innovative, end-to-end media software and networking solutions to over 3,000 customers in more than 185 countries, including the world’s leading broadcasters, network operators, and content owners who rely on our playout and infrastructure solutions to keep their channels on air and their operations running at scale.
A Bit About The Role
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing, as a Product Marketing Manager for our Playout and Infrastructure products, you are responsible for deeply understanding the market and making your products highly visible as part of a truly compelling proposition for the customer base.
This role is the strategic center of gravity for how Imagine’s Playout and Infrastructure portfolio reaches the market. You own the go-to-market strategy — defining who to target, with what message, through what channels — and you lead that thinking in close partnership with product, engineering, sales, support, and marketing teams. You are an enthusiastic and knowledgeable portfolio evangelist for the “Make TV” side of our business — the playout, infrastructure, and operational technology that keeps broadcasters on air.
This role serves as the critical bridge between technical development and go-to-market strategy. You work with engineering and product owners to deeply understand the roadmap and translate it into positioning, messaging, and market strategy that resonates with buyers and empowers the teams around you. You back up strategic insights with market evidence — knowing your competitors, your buyers, and how purchasing decisions are made — and use that knowledge to ensure the full organization is aligned on who we’re targeting, what problems we solve, and why Imagine is the right choice. You understand the buying community for products and what value proposition and messaging support their needs.
- Own positioning and messaging for the Playout and Infrastructure portfolio — developing clear value propositions, buyer-specific narratives, and competitive differentiators that translate complex technology into compelling reasons to choose Imagine
- Lead go-to-market strategy, defining target audiences, the messages that resonate with each, and how we reach them — building programs that find customers and help them find us
- Partner with Product Owners to shape go-to-market plans for new products and releases, ensuring market and buyer perspectives are embedded in how we develop, launch, and evolve the portfolio
- Lead the development of high-impact content that moves buyers through the decision process — customer case studies, white papers, and thought leadership that demonstrate real-world value and set Imagine apart
- Equip the sales team with the tools to compete and win — including presentations, product battle cards, and deal-specific materials that communicate value clearly across technical, user, and economic buyers
- Own Imagine’s voice in the market through website, blog, and press content that reflects current positioning and speaks to the right audiences at the right moment
- Identify the industry events, trade shows, and speaking forums that matter most to our buyers, and lead the strategy for how Imagine shows up — what story we tell, who tells it, and what outcomes we drive
About You
- Track record in product marketing within the context of a complex broadcast technology or infrastructure vendor
- In-depth knowledge of broadcast playout, signal processing, and infrastructure products and markets
- Experience with market positioning, business development, and competitive analysis
- Strong global business acumen and strong customer orientation
- Ability to develop strategic relationships and sell the vision; ability to influence at multiple levels of an organization
- Strong and effective oral and written communication skills
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to deliver business insight
- Ideally, a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer
- Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and lead effectively in a fluid, customer-oriented environment; able to manage competing priorities and drive to results across diverse teams and stakeholders
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to accelerate research, content development, and analysis — using technology to work smarter and deliver higher-quality output faster
