Identity Verification Notice:To ensure the security and integrity of our hiring process, all candidates are required to complete a secure identity verification. This process uses biometric and device validation to confirm identity and liveness. All data is handled securely in accordance with our privacy policy.
We're looking for a Product Manager to own the systems that keep Kiavi's loans running after they close: servicing, payments and money movement, valuations, and the vendor integrations behind them. Our internal teams (Servicing, Treasury, Capital Markets, and Operations) are your customers, and the borrowers they serve feel every improvement you ship. You'll own end-to-end execution across several products at once, work independently day to day, and partner with product leadership on the broader roadmap.
You get to:
Own the back office: Drive products that move real money and real loans: borrower payments, bank account verification, appraisals and inspections, and the data feeds our capital and servicing partners depend on.
Execute end-to-end: Take projects from early conception through design, development, launch, and post-launch measurement.
Automate with AI and modern tooling: Find where automation and AI can take manual work off our operations teams, and where a simpler software fix is the better answer.
Collaborate & facilitate: Collaborate with a dedicated engineering team, driving requirements and engineering prioritization.
Scale impact: Manage multiple products in different phases of their lifecycle in parallel, from new integrations to keep-the-lights-on improvements.
What you would do:
Roadmap & backlog: Turn internal and borrower pain points into a prioritized roadmap. Balance new initiatives with production support and operational improvements, and keep a live, refined backlog.
Money movement & integrations: Partner with Treasury and engineering on bank and payment integrations (ACH, wires, account verification), and with vendors on appraisal, inspection, insurance, and servicing data feeds. Attention to detail is critical as a small mistake means a bounced payment or money movement issue.
Operational excellence: Triage production support issues to tell real bugs from expected behavior, find the root cause, and turn recurring manual workarounds into product improvements.
AI product development: Identify where AI meaningfully beats traditional software for our operations teams, and navigate edge cases, accuracy, and adoption.
Data & metrics: Use data to size problems, model ROI, and define and track success metrics for your areas, including operational metrics such as automation rates, error rates, and time saved.
Cross-functional leadership: Lead Servicing, Treasury, Capital Markets, Compliance, and Operations stakeholders toward a shared roadmap, and communicate decisions and tradeoffs clearly.
What you bring:
Experience: 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in product management or a related field. You've completed multiple release cycles and product lifecycles as a PM.
Domain knowledge: A good understanding of lending, real estate, and industry dynamics. Experience with loan servicing, payments, or financial operations is a strong plus.
Technical fluency: Comfortable working closely with engineers on integrations, data models, and APIs, and able to read data well enough to answer your own questions.
AI awareness: A solid grasp of foundational AI concepts, and the judgment to know when (and when not) to apply them.
Analytical skills: Strong strategic thinking, data analysis, and prioritization. You weigh tradeoffs well, especially between new work and operational risk.
Communication & leadership: Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including with non-technical operations teams.
Autonomy: Able to work fully independently on most day-to-day responsibilities, while taking guidance on high-level strategic roadmaps.
Bonus points:
Experience with loan servicing systems, payment rails (ACH/wire), bank APIs, or vendor integrations.
Experience working at a fast-growing startup, especially in FinTech or PropTech.
Experience defining success metrics for automation, machine learning, or generative AI features.
Experience vibe coding your own projects or for work.
A technical degree (CS, EE, etc.) or equivalent work experience in a product development-driven environment.

Thatch
About Thatch
For most people, health insurance is something that happens to them: a plan chosen by someone else, with little room to fit their life. Thatch is changing that. We help companies give every employee a real healthcare budget instead of a one-size-fits-all plan, so people can choose the coverage and care that works for them, and employers get predictable costs they can control.
It’s a simple idea, but making it real means solving hard problems across healthcare, payments, and technology, and we’re just getting started. We look for people who like solving complex problems, use good judgment, and are comfortable working through ambiguity. People here care deeply about our customers, take real responsibility for what gets built, and are driven by doing work that matters.
About the role
Thatch is changing healthcare benefits. We give companies a way to offer every employee a health budget to choose the plan that fits their life, while giving employers predictable costs they can control. Making that possible means solving hard problems across healthcare, payments, and technology.
We look for people who like solving complex problems, take real ownership, and are comfortable working through ambiguity. People here have real responsibility for what gets built and care deeply about doing work that matters.
Our Financial Infrastructure (Finfra) team builds the systems that hold, move, and account for money across Thatch, from employer funding and insurance premiums to member reimbursements and card transactions.
We're looking for a Product Manager to shape the financial systems powering Thatch's growth. You'll own our ledger, money movement, and banking strategy, improve the economics of how money flows through our platform, and build the foundation for new financial products. You'll work closely with Engineering, Finance, and Compliance to solve complex problems where reliability and getting the details right really matter.
What you will do
- Own the strategy and roadmap for Thatch's financial infrastructure, balancing reliability, unit economics, and new product opportunities.
- Build and evolve our unified ledger, creating a trusted system of record for reconciliation, reporting, and treasury operations.
- Make money movement more reliable and scalable, from premium payments and reimbursements to card transactions and banking integrations.
- Improve the economics of how we hold and move funds, including treasury management, yield, and transaction costs.
- Evaluate opportunities in card issuing, credit, and other financial products, making thoughtful decisions about what to build versus partner on.
- Partner with Engineering, Finance, Operations, Legal, and Compliance to design systems that are scalable, auditable, and built to meet regulatory requirements.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of product management experience building payments, banking, or financial infrastructure products.
- Deep understanding of financial systems, including money movement, ledgers, reconciliation, or banking infrastructure.
- Strong technical fluency, with experience working closely with engineers on APIs, data models, and system design.
- Experience building in regulated environments where reliability, accuracy, and compliance are critical.
- Strong product judgment and financial instincts. You understand the business impact of technical decisions and know how to navigate trade-offs.
- A track record of owning complex products end-to-end, bringing clarity to ambiguity, and delivering meaningful results.
Experience that stands out
- Building double-entry ledgers, reconciliation systems, or other core financial infrastructure.
- Working with FBO or omnibus accounts, sponsor banks, or banking-as-a-service platforms.
- Launching card issuing, credit, or lending products.
- Improving treasury operations, float management, or payment economics.
- Navigating complex integrations with banking and financial technology partners.
How we work
- We give people ownership and trust them to make good decisions.
- We move quickly, learn from customers, and improve continuously.
- We solve hard problems together, regardless of team or title.
- We care more about building the right thing than following a perfect process.
What to expect
We aim to keep the process thoughtful, rigorous, and efficient. Most candidates complete it within three weeks. You can expect:
- An initial conversation with a recruiter.
- A conversation with the hiring manager, including a product review discussion.
- Conversations with product, engineering, design, and cross-functional teammates.
- A final conversation with executive leadership.
