Senior Product Manager
Pawlicy Advisor
Remote, US-based. Full time
About the Role
Every day, pet owners walk out of a vet's office having just said no to a treatment their pet needed, not because they didn't care, but because they couldn't afford it. Pawlicy Advisor exists to eliminate this problem. Pawlicy Advisor is a profitable venture-backed startup building the infrastructure that connects pet owners to the right financial protection for their pets, starting with the most trusted pet insurance marketplace in the US, distributed through thousands of veterinary practices nationwide. The company has delivered over 1 million unique quotes, has raised $19M+, has found product-market fit, and is now scaling. Pawlicy Advisor is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own day-to-day product execution: what gets built, why, and how success is measured. You will own the backlog, design and analyze the A/B tests that drive conversion and revenue, and be the product voice with the insurance carriers and partners that power the marketplace. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, on an outstanding team of five engineers, a data analyst, a senior product designer, and an engineering manager.
What You Own
Product Prioritization
- Determine what engineering builds each sprint, prioritizing features, experiments, tech debt, and requests by expected impact vs effort.
- Organize and define the backlog, keeping it refined and keeping engineering focused on the highest priority items.
- Write well-scoped tasks with clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Triage incoming bugs: assess severity, reproduce, prioritize, and route to the right owner.
Product Development
- Set requirements for A/B tests, build dashboards to monitor results, call statistical significance, and decide ship, iterate, or kill.
- Write product one pagers framing the problem, opportunity, proposed solution, and success metrics before work is committed.
- Ensure timelines are met for key projects and features.
- Keep internal stakeholders updated on project progress, priorities, and data results, including the roadmap and reasoning behind next steps.
- Partner with design on user research and competitive analysis.
Partnership Support
- Work closely with each insurance carrier partner to handle outstanding requests, integration changes, and performance reporting.
- Represent Product in D2C and vet partnerships to scale the business and outline timelines.
- Proactively identify new business and Product opportunities by contextualizing partner needs with internal OKRs, learnings and roadmaps.
- Manage the partner report intake process for off-site policy attribution.
Where You Partner
- Engineering: sprint scope, priorities, and delivery with the engineering manager; tasks scoped so engineers can build without a meeting.
- Design: user research and competitive analysis with the senior product designer.
- Data and analytics: experiment design, dashboards, and significance calls with the data analyst in Mixpanel.
- Partnerships and leadership: carrier requests, integration changes, performance reporting, and strategizing on opportunities alongside the Partnerships lead and the CEO.
What Success Looks Like
First 90 days
- The backlog is refined, prioritized by impact vs effort, and engineering is focused on the highest priority items.
- The A/B testing cadence is running: requirements, dashboards, significance calls, and ship, iterate, or kill decisions.
- Initial product roadmap based on OKRs for the company is shared with the team
- Stakeholders receive regular updates on progress, priorities, and data results, including the roadmap doc.
First 12 months
- Conversion is measurably improved, with a documented record of tests shipped, iterated, and killed.
- Carrier partners treat product as a responsive, trusted counterpart.
- Specs and one pagers set the bar: engineers build from them without a meeting.
- User research runs continuously and changes what gets built.
- Product OKR reporting is consistently transparent, dependable, and easily accessible
- Pawlicy team members understand Pawlicy’s Product roadmap and annual Product plans
Requirements
- 5-7 years of product management experience, ideally at an early stage startup or fast-moving environment.
- Experience optimizing conversion in a B2B2C platform or marketplace: you understand the funnel, the levers, and how to move them.
- Deep fluency with A/B testing, from designing experiments to extracting real signal from results (Mixpanel or similar analytics experience a plus).
- A track record of ruthless data- and OKR-driven prioritization and decision making.
- Strong external communication skills: comfortable owning relationships with enterprise partners and representing Product in external conversations.
- A genuine love of user research: you talk to users a lot, and let those conversations change your mind.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be based in the USA.
- Preferred: experience in insurance or fintech. Extra points if you love animals and believe pet healthcare is a serious, underserved problem.
How You Work
- You do your best work with real autonomy: you set your own agenda as the only PM, with no one checking your work daily.
- You ship things that started as your own idea and generate roadmaps rather than inherit them.
- You hold strong opinions, loosely held: a clear point of view on how to solve user problems without being precious about it.
- You push back, disagree, and align without it becoming political.
- You thrive in a high pace environment.
- You use AI tools daily to compound the company’s output.
AI and the Hiring Process
We embrace AI at Pawlicy and our work still relies on what the humans bring to it.
So please leave the AI out of interviews and case studies. Prep with it all you like, but in the room, we want your thinking, your questions, your judgment. These stages exist so we can get to know you and how you'd work with our team. We're hiring you, not a model and it is you we want to see.
To be concrete: no AI assistants or chatbots on any device during interviews, and nobody else feeding you answers. Spell-check, autocomplete and notes you wrote yourself are all completely fine.
If it turns out AI was used where we've asked you not to, it may end your candidacy.
If any part of our process is a barrier because of how you read, write or communicate, email before that stage and we'll talk through the options. The skills we're assessing stay the same; what changes is the format. Asking has no bearing on how we assess you.
Benefits
- Base salary range: $165,000 to $200,000.
- Startup equity grant.
- Top-tier medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) employer contributions; flexible vacation.
- Remote-first within the United States.
Career Path
This role is the only product manager seat at a company of ~20 today, growing to 25-30 in 2027, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, with a path to product leadership as the team scales. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in NYC, Pawlicy Advisor is a licensed insurance agency and the leading pet insurance marketplace in the US.
If you do your best work with real autonomy, thrive in a high pace environment, and deeply understand users, Pawlicy would like to talk. Learn more at

Turno Source CODE
C - Customer Obsessed
O - Outcome Focused
D - Data Driven
E - Entrusted Ownership
Role Overview
As Senior Product Manager for our Core Experience, you'll own the essential workflows hosts and service providers use every day to run short-term rental operations. This includes how work gets planned, scheduled, communicated, completed, verified, and resolved across features such as task management, checklists, problem reporting, notifications, and operational workflows.
You'll spend time understanding how hosts and service providers actually work, identifying friction in their day-to-day routines, and turning those problems into intuitive product experiences.
This is a customer-facing product role. You should be comfortable working with technical systems and integrations, but your primary focus will be owning and improving the product experiences our customers depend on to get work done.
You'll work daily with Engineering, Design, Operations, Support, and other Product teams, and you'll be accountable for customer and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Own the core operational experience
Own critical host and service provider workflows end to end. Set the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the experiences hosts and contractors use to manage work across their properties and projects.
Make daily operations simpler. Simplify multi-step and exception-heavy workflows without losing the flexibility customers need to operate their businesses.
Balance supply and demand. Make trade-offs that keep the marketplace healthy for everyone. A win for hosts that hurts cleaner retention (or the reverse) is not a win.
Design for the edge case as if it were the happy path. Substitutions, late arrivals, no-shows, damage reports, and engagement notifications get the same rigor as the primary flow, with workflows Operations can actually run.
Create consistency across the product. Help ensure Turno feels like one coherent system as we add new products, services, and markets.
Product strategy, discovery & execution
Lead continuous discovery. Translate customer behavior, qualitative research, support insights, and product data into clear problem statements, hypotheses, and opportunities.
Prioritize based on customer and business impact. Balance usability improvements, product growth, operational efficiency, reliability, and longer-term platform needs.
Define meaningful product outcomes. Establish metrics for adoption, engagement, task completion, reliability, satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Ship with Engineering and Design. Partner daily to define solutions, prioritize ruthlessly, and release high-quality work on a steady cadence.
Drive alignment. Communicate clearly, make decisions in a structured way, and bring stakeholders and leadership along.
Systems & technical fluency
Think in connected systems. Understand how shared concepts such as properties, projects, users, schedules, tasks, payments, and communications interact across Turno.
Partner effectively with Engineering. Be comfortable discussing technical tradeoffs, integrations, data models, and platform constraints without needing to be the technical architect.
Be your own best data analyst. Build Looker dashboards that track the health of your product area, and define the KPIs and instrumentation behind them.
Use AI pragmatically. Apply AI where it meaningfully reduces customer effort, automates repetitive work, improves quality, or helps users resolve operational problems.
Qualifications
Must-have qualifications
Experience: 6+ years of product management in B2B SaaS, marketplaces, operations software, or products with complex customer journeys and multi-sided interactions (supply and demand, buyers and sellers).
Product sense and curiosity: Strong instincts grounded in real user understanding. You keep asking "why" until the root problem is clear.
Systems thinking: Ability to understand how multiple product areas and workflows interact while keeping the customer experience coherent.
Data fluency: Experience defining KPIs, building instrumentation, and using BI tools to make decisions.
AI experience: You leverage AI throughout your entire product tasks and planning.
Communication: Ability to explain complex customer, technical, and operational problems clearly and make thoughtful trade-offs visible.
Preferred qualifications
Experience owning products involving tasks, projects, scheduling, operational workflows, collaboration, or multi-step processes.
Experience with mobile-first products where users complete work while on the go.
Hands-on experience implementing customer engagement solutions such as Braze or Iterable, including lifecycle messaging, push, in-app, and email journeys tied to product events.
A track record of leading a migration from a legacy tech stack to a modern one, paired with a UX redesign, across both web and mobile apps. You know how to sequence the move, protect existing users, and measure the impact.

Come outpace the ordinary and build the future of travel with us.
Your Mission
As a Product Manager at Engine, you'll own one of the customer-facing products that businesses and travelers use every day. We're hiring across several teams, and you'll join one of them to own its product area. The problems differ from team to team, but the core of the job is the same: understand customers deeply, find where the experience breaks down, and ship products that make business travel simpler. Here's what you'll take charge of:
- Own a product area end to end: Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your team's surface, and take features from discovery through launch and iteration.
- Obsess over the customer experience: Bring a strong point of view on UX and use research, behavioral data, and customer conversations to decide what to build next.
- Drive conversion, engagement, and retention: Define the north stars that matter for your area, dig into the funnel, and rapidly drive outcomes for customers and for Engine.
- Be AI-native: Use AI every day to move faster, from prototyping and research synthesis to writing specs, and find where AI can make the customer experience simpler and more personal.
- Lead cross-functionally: Partner with Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, Operations, and Support to turn competing priorities into a clear, shared direction.
What You'll Bring to Engine
We're looking for someone who's ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on product management experience, ideally with customer-facing products in marketplaces, booking, travel, e-commerce, or fintech. We're hiring across levels and will match scope to your background.
- Skills: You're a strong generalist with sharp product sense, customer empathy, and a data-driven approach. You're as comfortable in a UX review as you are in a funnel analysis or an A/B test readout.
- Tech-Savvy: You've shipped AI-powered or agentic products, or use modern AI tools in your day-to-day work.
- Mindset: You move with urgency, communicate the "why" behind your decisions, and take ownership of outcomes.
We accept applications for this role on an ongoing basis. We review applications as they are received and encourage interested candidates to apply early.
Compensation
Our compensation packages are based on several factors, including your experience, expertise, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, all roles receive equity. Depending on the role, total compensation may also include an annual bonus. Your recruiter will share your complete compensation package as you move through the process.
