The reason behind the role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the Data Experience for our customers. Small businesses come to LMN to know their numbers, and it’s what sets us apart. This role is pivotal to helping them get that value faster than ever, by making it easy to see what’s happening in their business and what to do about it.
You’ll own the data foundation behind that experience, and you’ll push forward AskLMN, our AI chat experience, while owning the analytics and reporting experience in the platform going forward. The goal is one connected experience where chat, dashboards, and reports work together.
The opportunity is to use the data our customers create in LMN and also bring in data from related sources, so they gain unique insight without ever leaving LMN. The more we curate, clean up, and standardize that data, the more readily our AI can surface useful answers back to them.
You will…
- Own the data foundation: define the data we capture, how it’s organized and cleaned up, and how it’s kept trustworthy, so every analytics and AI experience is built on information customers can rely on
- Take ownership of AskLMN’s roadmap and rollout, making it the fastest way for customers to get answers about their business
- Own the analytics and reporting experience in the platform, bringing dashboards, reports, and AI chat together into one cohesive experience
- Partner with product leadership on strategy, then independently turn it into a clear roadmap, even in unfamiliar territory
- Be methodical in understanding and mapping every part of our customers’ businesses, and define the insights that “light up” each one
- Drive high-impact execution alongside a dedicated cross-functional team of engineers
- Measure success by outcomes, not just outputs. Shipping features is necessary but not sufficient; we look to our product managers to deliver great outcomes for our customers and our business
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years working as a product manager at a SaaS company
- Proven track record of shipping features that make a meaningful impact for your customers and your business
- Ability to execute independently and make progress in a new or unclear space
- You know how to analyze a business and can demonstrate this in our interview process
- Solid “high to low” thinking as you work through the metrics cascade of a business
- The acumen and technical skills to uncover non-obvious insights that help our users run a better business
- Deep-rooted curiosity and user empathy
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
Nice to have:
- Experience with analytics platforms
- Experience with data modeling
- Experience building AI chat experiences or AI platforms
Compensation:
- Canada-based candidates: CAD 160,000 - 195,000
- US-based candidates: USD 170,000 - 200,000
Reasons why you would love it here!
- Join a team culture that’s all about collaboration, support, and having fun while making a real impact every day.
- In the U.S., we offer comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with multiple plan options, plus additional add ons like HSA/FSA accounts, disability and life insurance, and more.
- In Canada, we provide an employer-funded HSA-based benefits plan with drug, dental, and mental health coverage - giving you a flexible way to manage your healthcare needs.
- We're committed to your financial future, with 401(k) matching for U.S. employees and RRSP matching for those in Canada.
- We invest in your growth through tailored career development conversations and support for tools, courses, and resources to help you thrive.
- And when it comes to work-life balance? We offer unlimited Paid Time Off, paid company holidays, and a company-wide winter break from December 24 to January 1 - so you can truly recharge.
