Job Description

Position Overview

Momentive Software is hiring an Account Development Representative to drive top-of-funnel cross-sell pipeline from our existing client base to our SMB sales team.

Position Summary

Momentive Software is hiring an Account Development Representative to help drive top-of-funnel cross-sell pipeline from the existing Momentive client base to our SMB sellers. We need a self-directed, motivated individual who can identify expansion opportunities, activate relevant client signals, and create qualified cross-sell meetings that progress into meaningful pipeline and closed/won business.

This individual will partner closely with Business Development, SMB Sales, Client Success, Marketing, and Go-To-Market teams to prioritize high-propensity accounts, execute targeted outreach, and ensure a coordinated client experience. The role is an individual contributor position focused on creating qualified expansion opportunities, maintaining strong pipeline hygiene, and delivering clear handoffs to the appropriate sales owner.

A Day in the Life

  • Drive proactive cross-sell prospecting into the existing Momentive client base, with emphasis on SMB accounts and high-propensity white-space opportunities.
  • Research client accounts to understand current Momentive products, potential product gaps, organizational priorities, buying centers, and relevant triggers for expansion conversations.
  • Use account signals, intent data, relationship context, and internal guidance to prioritize outreach and determine the most relevant cross-sell motion.
  • Create personalized multi-channel outreach that connects Momentive product value to the client's current operating environment and likely business priorities.
  • Book and progress qualified cross-sell meetings for SMB sellers, ensuring meetings are well-prepared, well-documented, and connected to a clear business opportunity.

We are looking for someone who brings

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales development, business development, or a similar prospecting role, ideally in B2B SaaS.
  • A track record of building qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting and account research.
  • Experience tailoring outreach based on account signals, buying triggers, or intent data.
  • Comfort partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Client Success to coordinate a consistent client experience.
  • Familiarity with the association, nonprofit, or membership technology space is a plus.

Technical/Computer Skills:

  • Salesforce, or a comparable CRM, used daily to track accounts, activity, and pipeline handoffs.
  • Comfortable with sales engagement tools such as Salesloft, Outreach, or Gong.
  • Familiarity with intent or signal data platforms (e.g., 6sense, ZoomInfo) is a plus.
  • Microsoft Office 365.

Other Skills:

  • Self-directed and motivated, with the discipline to hit pipeline and meeting targets independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communicator who can earn attention from busy stakeholders.
  • Curious and consultative, asking good questions to uncover real client needs before pitching.
  • Organized enough to manage a high volume of accounts and outreach touches without letting follow-up slip.
  • Collaborative team player who works well across Sales, Marketing, and Client Success.
  • Willingness to travel less than 10% as needed.
