The person in this position will be responsible for maintaining hourly process control checks and visual inspection of molded parts. This person will change molds when required. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required.
Responsibilities include :
- Perform required inspections (gate height for example), take basic measurements and record required data on production inspection records/logs or special logs provided for the purpose (Molding condition, production log and quality check sheet).
- Record material/resin lot numbers.
- Understand Requirements for ISO9001:2015.
- Mix materials (mixer) when needed.
- Identify product with MSDS labels when needed.
- Perform 1st and last piece inspections.
- Identify and report to management when a process or product is nonconforming (not meeting process specifications or meeting customer product requirements). Follow the corrective action process.
- Stock work area with correct components and materials (FIFO-First in, first out) for product being produced.
- Drive forklift when needed.
- Dispose of all scrap/purge buckets.
- Understand and manage recycle process.
- Record correct information of all resins being used (bin loading logs).
- Identify and recommend continual improvement suggestions. (Kaizen My Idea form)
- Understand and report to senior molding personnel when a machine or process is not operating within specifications.
- Changes totes and make sure right totes are used – maintain correct level.
- Take time and temperature readings from auxiliary equipment and record on provided log sheets.
- Accurately supply the correct molding resin to machines during production runs.

Material Handler 3
Karwell Technologies
Performs physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Responsible for cycle counting activities. Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Must have forklift certification. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines. Oversees domestic and non-domestic receiving and shipping responsibilities. Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves complex issues associated with material/warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:

- Do bin to bin transfers for all moves from the warehouse to the PSA's
- Hand load carts/racks equipment and deliver to production areas
- Run Material Staging in SAP
- Evaluate all production schedules and determine materials needed from outside vendors
- Maintain required levels of materials in the various PSA's
- Is knowledgeable of receiving and/or distribution functions, familiar with computer warehousing system and may be required to use UPS systems
- May be responsible for conducting cycle counts to maintain accurate inventories
- Uses independent judgment in troubleshooting and problem solving under little/no supervision
- Provides support to lead and/or supervisor when necessary
- May provide training support for on-boarding and/or new procedures
- May provide support on special projects
- Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Must follow all Client housekeeping policies and procedures
- Must follow all Client safety policies and procedures
- Must be able to work overtime as required to meet Client business requirements

Requirements:
- High school with 4 years' experience with minimum 1 year SAP and forklift operations required
- Previous work experience with the use of material handling equipment (pallet jacket, forklift, shrink wrapper)
- Valid driver's license required
- Forklift Certification required
- Certification in Dangerous Goods (DG), including IATA, DOT DG, or IMDG
- Extensive knowledge of SAP required
Basic Skills:
- Ability to work on assignments that are manual and routine in nature with the skill to recognize any deviations from specification
- Can effectively work in a team setting and communicate effectively across the department
- Must be able to maintain neat, accurate and complete records and logs, both manually and/or electronically on a personal computer
- Must be able to effectively manage frequent assignment changes
Proficient/Working Skills:
- Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic

Tell me about the team: facility has 25 people. This team will conduct distribution of *** IL. Process the orders for around the state. Receiving matierial, picking, packing, and shipping material. This is one of the most important roles in the organization. Will play a critical role of the center and material fulfillment. Expect OT, but it is mostly weather dependent and scheduled in advance (unless weather related).
Normal day: Job safety briefing, daily five, assigned daily work. An MDF specialist should be able to work in any department of the warehouse at any time. May be operating forklift or equipment. May be switching from one position to another through the day.
Must-have skills: Technilogically adept (use the tech needed to do the job), safety mindset, physically capable of doing physical labor. Steel-toed boots on first day ARE
REQUIRED.
Nice to have skills: Background in warehouse or distribution center.
Arrangements: M-F 6:30am-3pm OT is from 3pm-5pm on volunteer basis.
Extension or conversion: Hopeful to convert by the end of the year.
Interview: Closed toed shoes for the interview. Other PPE will be provide. Onsite for one hour. Will meet with operations supervisorsand the manager, tour the warehouse.
The MDF Specialist executes the daily workload of the Distribution Facility, processing material orders that directly support corporate storerooms, projects, and crews. This role directly reports to the Operations Supervisor and requires supporting both routine business and storm restoration work during non-standard hours.
Core Responsibilities
" Inventory Control: Receive, handle, store, issue, package, and return materials while maintaining accurate computerized inventory records via handheld devices.
" Warehouse Operations: Work across all sections of the Distribution Center (Inbound, Order Processing, and Outbound) in both indoor and outdoor environments.
" Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including order pickers, forklifts, turrets, and pallet jacks, as well as specialized tools to prepare shipments.
" Adaptability: Flexibly adapt to frequent work changes throughout a shift as determined by Operations Supervision.
Physical & Technical Requirements
" Physical Ability: Continuous bending, reaching, and lifting of heavy material up to 50 pounds.
" Height Work: Ability to work comfortably at heights ranging up to 30 feet.
" Tech Literacy: Ability to utilize facility technology, including computers, tablets, printers, and handheld RF scanners.
