Responsibilities
- Security Architecture & Automation — Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cross-account integrations to standardize and centralize security services across a complex, multi-vendor AWS environment with distributed AWS accounts under an externally managed organization.
- Develop and implement repeatable security solutions and automation across distributed AWS accounts.
- Support cross-account security integrations and centralized security capabilities across environments managed by multiple vendors.
- Security Compliance & Posture Management — Assess the current security posture of AWS environments and work with vendors and government stakeholders to align implementations with organizational security standards.
- Help shape and improve government security and compliance processes across the environment.
- Support the development of security and compliance artifacts for IATT and ATO activities.
- Integrate logging from distributed AWS accounts into centralized logging and review capabilities, including integration with the C5ISR reviewer.
- Collaborate with AWS, government, and vendor teams to address security integration and compliance requirements.
Basic Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- Experience working with AWS cloud environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation.
- Experience with cloud security architecture, security controls, and/or security posture management.
- Experience working with multi-account or cross-account AWS environments.
- Familiarity with government security/compliance and authorization processes such as ATO/IATT.

Required Skills & Experience
6–10 years of experience in security control validation, audit, or data security.
Strong understanding of ETL pipelines and data validation techniques.
Experience in data reconciliation and data quality validation.
Hands-on or strong exposure to CNAPP tools (Wiz preferred, Prisma Cloud).
Understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure basics).
Knowledge of security findings: vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, IAM risks.
Security & Data Domain Knowledge
CNAPP concepts: CSPM, CWPP, CIEM.
Data integrity, completeness, and accuracy controls.
ETL pipeline security and data flow validation.

We are seeking an experienced Database Security Engineer with a strong database administration background to manage, optimize, and expand our enterprise Imperva Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) platform. This role will focus on ensuring 100% monitoring coverage across critical database environments, automating routine operational tasks, and refining security baselines.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations, troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance of the Imperva DAM environment
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for vendor escalations and support tickets
- Partner closely with platform DBAs to continuously reconcile database inventories against DAM coverage, ensuring all target assets across MSSQL, DB2, Oracle, and Teradata are actively monitored
- Monitor platform telemetry to detect health anomalies, agent outages, or logging drops
- Apply a strong cybersecurity mindset to review policy drift, evaluate security baselines, and recommend actionable rule adjustments to align with enterprise security standards
- Script and automate daily health checks, monitoring verification, reporting, and operational task workflows
Requirements:
- Direct, hands-on administration, engineering, and troubleshooting experience with Imperva DAM (SecureSphere)
- Deep foundational knowledge of database architectures, querying, logging mechanisms, and system catalogs across multiple enterprise platforms including Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), IBM DB2, Oracle, and Teradata
- Demonstrated capability to automate operational tasks using scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash, or REST APIs)
- Proven experience working with vendors for technical support to resolve complex platform issues, upgrades, and bug fixes
- Familiarity with database auditing principles, baseline governance, policy drift resolution, and threat/anomaly detection
Pay range: $53.45 - $61.45 per hour
