The Responsibilities:
Conduct initial evaluations and collaboratively develop treatment plans with clients for medication, therapy or a combination of both. Proactively follow up with clients at a minimum on a monthly basis to assess the efficacy of recommended interventions and ongoing care until treatment goals are achieved. Our clientele strongly prefer combined medication and therapy appointments; you have to be comfortable providing various modalities of talk therapy.

Job Summary The Nurse Manager leads a team of dedicated RN’s, LPN’s and Medication Aides in a residential substance use disorder treatment setting.
Key Responsibilities Participate in planning, priority setting, and the development/implementation of policies and procedures for health care activities that comply with facility and contractual requirements as well as State, DEA, and CARF standards. Support the development, provision, and evaluation of patient care according to the standards of nursing practice in the state of Virginia. Support recruitment/retention efforts for nursing service. Prepare/submit reports as requested. On-going chart reviews to ensure compliance with Federal/State/regulatory requirements. Provide training, consultation and direction in dealing with difficult clients. Participation/leadership in treatment team meetings as well as grievance and appeals meeting.
