Network Security Engineer: II
Phaxis LLC
Network Engineer
We're looking for a Network Engineer to join our team and help support and strengthen our enterprise network infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on networking professional who enjoys solving complex connectivity challenges across both on-prem and cloud environments, and who takes pride in keeping systems running reliably for the people who depend on them.
What You'll Bring
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field — or you've built equivalent expertise through hands-on experience. You bring 3–5 years of experience in network engineering or network administration, ideally within an enterprise environment.
Certifications (a Plus, Not Required)
We'd love to see a Fortinet Certified Associate (FCA) or Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) credential, and/or an Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) certification. If you're currently working toward either, we still want to hear from you.
Your Technical Toolkit
- Hands-on experience with enterprise networking platforms such as Fortinet, Meraki, Cisco, or similar technologies
- Experience supporting cloud networking environments in Azure and/or AWS
- Strong command of TCP/IP fundamentals, including routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF), subnetting, network traffic analysis, WINS, DNS, and DHCP
- Proficiency with core Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access)
What Makes You a Great Fit
Beyond the technical skills, we're looking for someone with strong communication skills, a team-first mindset, and the organizational and planning ability to juggle multiple priorities. You think analytically, solve problems methodically, and bring a customer-service orientation to everything you do.
Travel
This role involves minimal travel — up to 25%.
