TheraPeds Partners is hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 school year in Chestertown, MD.
This is a full-time opportunity with guaranteed hours, dedicated documentation and planning time, a manageable caseload, and support from both TheraPeds and the school district.
The Role
You'll provide school-based speech and language services to help students strengthen the communication skills they need to participate successfully in school.
- Provide individual and small-group speech-language therapy
- Develop and implement IEP goals and intervention plans
- Address articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social/pragmatic communication, and other communication needs
- Conduct evaluations and reevaluations and interpret assessment results
- Collect data, monitor progress, and complete progress reports
- Develop IEP documentation and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and related-service providers
- Provide classroom strategies and recommendations to support student communication
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate service records

Requirements
Qualifications
- We're looking for an SLP who has:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Active or eligible New Hampshire Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Knowledge of IEPs, evaluations, eligibility, and school-based service delivery
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Good organization and time-management skills
- Comfort with technology and documentation
- Ability to complete required background clearances
School-based therapy is active and hands-on. The Provider must be able to safely participate with students in a variety of school environments and activities. Physical responsibilities may include sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, transitioning to and from the floor, and lifting or assisting with students, materials, or equipment as appropriate to the position.
All responsibilities will be performed in accordance with assigned duties, district safety requirements, and applicable accommodations.

- Experience: Prior experience in outpatient therapy is a plus. Experience with dysphagia is required.
