The Arc of Ocean County is seeking Overnight Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide awake overnight support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in residential homes in Ocean County, New Jersey.
Overnight staff play an important role in maintaining continuity of care when the rest of the household is asleep. You'll remain awake and attentive throughout the 11:00 PM–9:00 AM shift, monitor individual well-being, respond to needs and unexpected situations, complete required documentation, and help prepare the home and individuals for the morning.

As a Part-Time Direct Support Professional with The Arc of Ocean County, you'll help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independently and participate fully in their homes and communities. Your support may include everything from assisting with daily routines and personal care to encouraging new skills, facilitating community activities, and creating opportunities for meaningful connection.
This is a hands-on role for someone who values patience, respect, reliability, and person-centered support. Previous DSP experience is not required—we provide paid on-the-job training to help you build the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
