POSITION SUMMARY:
Operate imaging equipment and perform diagnostic x-rays (if applicable) on patients as ordered by the physician and under the guidance of the physician. Assist in preparing the operating/procedure rooms, as needed. Document duration of radiation, test equipment weekly, examine protective x- ray aprons for integrity, and document the results of tests/examinations. Maintain all necessary documentation, logs, equipment reports, etc. related to the radiology services offered at the center.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrate competence in x-ray / fluoroscopy technologist skills. Demonstrate competence in selecting exposure factors and positioning and consistently produce high-quality images. Demonstrate competence and proficient use of equipment. Adequately troubleshoot equipment problems. Oversee and manage the performance of required maintenance of equipment by adhering to cleaning care, storage, and calibration procedures as directed. Demonstrate proficiency in procedure preparation. Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling procedures according to physician’s preference card. Proficiently practices radiation safety for self and patient. Wears radiological monitoring devices and adheres to principles of radiation protection. Maintain established safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Report infractions to supervisor. Follow the center exposure control plans/blood borne and airborne pathogens. Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:
High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology Radiology Technologist license (as required by State) ARRT certification (as required by State) BLS certification (as required by individual ASC policy) PREFERRED:
Minimum of one year fluoroscopy experience

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Certified Surgical Technician (CST) serves as a member of the healthcare team and provides technical support to the surgeon, registered nurse, and anesthesiologist in the operating room. The CST assumes appropriate responsibilities in the perioperative area by scrubbing, assisting the RN circulator, setting up and breaking down surgical procedures, pulling and putting away supplies and equipment, and environmental service duties.
This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday! No weekends, No calls and No Holidays!
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure proper supplies, equipment, and instruments are ready for use. Clean operating room between cases. Restock operating rooms as necessary to meet par levels. Assist other operating rooms for coverage. Knowledge of surgeon preferences, procedures, instrumentation, and equipment. Prepare cases for the next day. May operate sterilizer, lights, suction machine, and other designated equipment. Ensure patient, procedure, operative site, positioning and equipment correspond. Follow the center exposure control plans/blood borne and airborne pathogens. Report observed or suspected breaks in sterile technique and acts according to policy. Perform hand scrub according to policy and procedure. Arrange instruments and supplies for surgical procedure. Maintain integrity of instruments. Ensure proper counting of sponges, instruments, and sharps. Assist in gowning of other personnel and draping of patient. Anticipate surgeon’s needs. Pass instruments to surgeon and/or assistant as appropriate. Communicate needs to circulators to ensure efficient and uninterrupted progress of procedure. Prepare and preserve specimens. Verify name, strength, and dosage of medication with circulator; confirms, labels, and places on surgical field. Clean and disinfect all tables, counter surfaces, stands, and floor. May help transport patients and restock the operating room. Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology CST certification verified via NBSTSA BLS certification (as required by individual ASC policy) PREFERRED:

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Business Office Manager the Front Desk Coordinator performs a variety
of administrative tasks to arrange for the admission of patients to the surgery center.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer and triage phone calls, greet and speak with patients and family members in a friendly and compassionate manner. Monitor the main entrance and serve as first point of contact for all visitors at the Center. Maintain daily visitor log. Prepare welcome packets and necessary documentation for next day cases. Provide welcome packets, and check-in patients including collecting and scanning of documents, verify and input patient data. Print estimate forms and obtain patient signature. Collect payment as needed or set up payment plans. Give appropriate instructions to patients and family members at the time of admission regarding expectations of the day. Appropriately record information in patient’s medical record including the download of information from EHR/paper chart to EMR. Responsible for vendor credentialing and access of vendors to the Center. Maintain waiting area and the front desk area in a neat and orderly manner. Maintain confidentiality of Center and patient information at all times to ensure compliance. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
