Bourbonnais Terrace is a Specialized Mental Health and Rehab Facility (SMHRF), providing care to the non-aggressive (adult) mentally ill/behavior health population. Located in a quiet suburban neighborhood with a leadership team that has been her for many years. What makes us unique:

What you will do in this role : Mental Health Professional (MHP) provides group and individual psychiatric rehabilitative and case management services to adults with a history of multiple psychiatric hospitalizations and in need of long-term care stabilization. You will participate with the interdisciplinary teams in developing and implementing therapeutic services and interventions.

Mental Health Professional (MHP) : Other centers may refer to this role as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services Coordinator, Psychiatric Rehab Coordinator, Psychiatric Rehab Counselor, or Mental or Behavioral Health Counselor
What we need from you :
Prior experience as a PRSC or mental health professional in a licensed nursing home, intermediate care facility, or specialized mental health rehab facility is preferred Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field (including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling or psychology) and have a minimum of 1 year of supervised experience in mental health or human services is preferred. Minimum qualifications are an unrelated Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2 years in a mental health profession/role or a high school diploma and 5 or more years in the mental health profession with clinical supervision.
