We are seeking a "Senior Staff"-level Environmental Professional (Geologist, Engineer, or Scientist) to support a wide range of environmental assessment, investigation, compliance, and consulting projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing environmental projects, developing client relationships, and conducting environmental site assessments and investigations.
Responsibilities
Conduct and manage Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in accordance with ASTM standards and regulatory requirements. Perform environmental investigations involving soil, groundwater, vapor, and hazardous materials assessments. Conduct site reconnaissance, field investigations, sampling activities, and environmental monitoring. Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, drilling contractors, laboratories, and other project vendors. Compile, analyze, and interpret environmental data from field activities, historical records, and environmental databases. Prepare technical reports, environmental assessments, work plans, proposals, and other project deliverables. Manage project schedules, budgets, and client expectations to ensure successful project execution. Develop and maintain client relationships and identify opportunities for new and repeat business. Prepare and support technical and cost proposals for environmental consulting projects. Coordinate communications with property owners, site representatives, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and clients. Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and project team members.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification. Minimum of 3 years of experience conducting environmental site assessments, investigations, and related consulting services. Strong working knowledge of ASTM E1527-21 and environmental due diligence practices. Experience managing environmental projects, budgets, schedules, and client relationships. Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in both office and field environments. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Preferred Qualifications
Experience serving public agencies, municipalities, utilities, industrial clients, and private-sector clients. Experience performing or managing industrial hygiene projects, including asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, indoor air quality, and related services. Experience with environmental compliance programs, including air quality, stormwater, permitting, spill prevention, environmental audits, and regulatory reporting. Professional registrations or certifications such as Professional Geologist (PG), Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Environmental Manager (CEM), or similar credentials. Previous experience working in an environmental consulting environment. Familiarity with local and regional environmental regulations and permitting requirements.

We are seeking a Project Environmental Professional to manage and execute environmental assessment, investigation, and compliance projects. This role combines technical expertise, project management, client interaction, and staff mentorship in support of a diverse portfolio of environmental consulting projects.
Responsibilities
Manage and conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in accordance with ASTM standards and regulatory requirements. Lead environmental investigations involving soil, groundwater, vapor intrusion, and hazardous materials assessments. Establish project objectives, scopes of work, schedules, budgets, and performance standards. Manage project budgets, schedules, deliverables, and client expectations. Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams during field investigations and environmental assessments. Conduct and oversee site reconnaissance, soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring well installation, and air monitoring activities. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, laboratories, vendors, and field personnel. Analyze environmental data and prepare technical reports, work plans, proposals, and other project deliverables. Communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, property owners, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior environmental professionals and field staff. Support business development efforts through proposal preparation, client relationship management, and identification of new project opportunities. Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5–8 years of experience conducting environmental assessments, investigations, and consulting projects. At least 1 year of experience managing project budgets, schedules, and technical staff. Strong knowledge of Phase I ASTM E1527-21 and Phase II ASTM E1903 environmental assessment standards. Experience preparing technical reports, work plans, and environmental deliverables. Strong technical writing, organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Experience mentoring and training junior staff. Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ASTM Environmental Professional (EP), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Professional Engineer (PE), Geologist-in-Training (GIT), Registered Geologist (RG), Professional Geologist (PG), Project Management Professional (PMP), EPA Lead Inspector, EPA Lead Risk Assessor, AHERA Building Inspector, or AHERA Management Planner. Experience supporting public agencies, municipalities, utilities, industrial facilities, and private-sector clients. Experience performing industrial hygiene services, including asbestos, lead-based paint, indoor air quality, and mold assessments. Previous environmental consulting experience with responsibility for staff oversight, project management, and client development. Familiarity with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
