We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing our fleet of trailers to ensure safe and efficient transportation operations.

In this role, you will provide services to the world’s largest telecommunications and cable providers. A CDL Class A Driver is responsible for operating commercial vehicles with a Class A driver's license.

Receives, loads and transports goods. Works in collaboration with Lead Truck Drivers to achieve transportation and logistics objectives. Essential Job Duties 1. Operate tractor trailers and/or straight trucks and 15 passenger buses on assigned routes. 2. Conduct and complete a pre-trip checklist. 3. Maintain daily trip log including road and vehicle conditions and information. 4. Transport trailers to and from designated locations. 5. Drive forklift duties and perform related duties. 6. Maintain proper truck load distributions, unload and move goods. 7. Load and unload trailers. 8. Ensure compliance with transportation policies, procedures and programs. Remain current on all government regulations, inspections and reporting. 9. Drive special routes and performs related duties during special organizational events. 10. Perform general warehouse duties. 11. Contribute to team success by involving others in work processes, decisions and actions. 12. Participate in required training. 13. Must be 21 years old and possess a valid CDL (Class A Preferred). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requires certification as a forklift operator or ability to obtain certification within 6 months. Complies with all Federal Motor Carrier regulations as well as federal, state and local driving / transportation regulations. Physical Requirements Requires physical stamina and strength to lift or carry up to fifty (50) pounds. Requires ability to push carts weighing a minimum of 250 pounds. Requires ability to perform a combination of tasks such as stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting, reaching, carrying, pushing or pulling objects. Requires ability to reach by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction. Environmental Conditions Requires ability to work in a light industrial/warehouse environment. Description JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for safely and efficiently moving trailers in all-weather conditions on Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of Florida property. Work involves loading and unloading trailers of cane and maintaining the yard truck in good working condition in compliance with all safety and security regulations. Conducts comprehensive post-harvest cleanup operations including pressure washing company trucks, removing debris, and maintaining overall campus cleanliness to support a safe and organized work environment. Work is performed under close supervision with minimal latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment.
