Medical Assistant performs basic direct patient care activities, such as lab tests, treatments, and medication/immunization administration. These are performed under the direction of the Nurse and/or the physician in preparation for the patient's examination and treatment. The incumbent carries out clerical activities, quality control activities, performance improvement initiatives, etc. in support of the physician practice as assigned. This position also serves as a resource for the clerical/clinical staff in the practice.

SIGN ON BONUS $5,000.00 (If Full Time Criteria is met) 2 - 24 hour shifts per week = 48 hours per week. Provides emergency and non‑emergency treatment and transportation in the pre-hospital and inter-hospital environments at the advanced life support level.  Works with a variety of people and organizations on a professional level to provide care to patients and the community. Essential Functions Provides pre-hospital, emergency patient care within the scope of practice of an EMT-Paramedic within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Accurately completes all patient care documentation adequately according to DOH and department guidelines and requirements within a twenty-four hour timeframe. Operates emergency vehicles with the Pennsylvania laws governing the operation of such vehicles.

Provides pre-hospital emergency patient care within the scope of an EMT in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
