This is professional pharmaceutical work of a staff or clinical nature at a state-operated facility. A resource compounds and dispenses physicians'
prescriptions, including a variety of ointments, powders, solutions, medicines, drugs, and other pharmaceutical supplies used in the facility. Work includes the filling of ward requisitions for narcotics, solutions and drug supplies, and the maintenance of accurate records of narcotics, depressant and
stimulant drugs and alcohol dispensed. Resources review the medication records of patients and report potential adverse drug interactions. What You’ll Do
Accurately register patients, create and maintain up-to-date profiles, and input prescription history in our pharmacy system.
Assist with the preparation, labelling, packaging, and shipment of prescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Respond to inquiries from doctors and patients, and escalate clinical questions to the pharmacist when appropriate.
Help manage pharmacy inventory and packaging supplies; support coordination of medication orders with wholesalers and manufacturers.
Ensure accurate documentation and uphold pharmacy data integrity across all systems and processes.
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
What We’re Looking For
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in pharmacy.
Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy in medication handling, labelling, and data entry.
Communication Skills: Clear, professional, and fluent in English (written and verbal).
Team Player: Able to collaborate in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and focused.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with pharmacy software and digital tools; experience with Kroll is strongly preferred.
Safety-Focused: Committed to following health and safety protocols and maintaining a safe workspace.
