Barbaricum is seeking Junior Administrative Professionals to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support for Department of Defense (DoD) programs. The successful candidate will support daily office operations, executive scheduling, meeting coordination, travel planning, personnel administration, and organizational communications while ensuring exceptional customer service and mission support. This position is primarily located on-site at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland, with occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel as required.
Responsibilities
Provide professional, responsive, and timely administrative support to Government leadership, program offices, and mission stakeholders.
Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, working groups, and special events, including reserving meeting space, coordinating logistics, and supporting on-site execution.
Prepare, edit, consolidate, and distribute presentations, executive briefings, staff reports, activity reports, agendas, correspondence, and other administrative documentation.
Record, prepare, and distribute meeting minutes, ensuring action items and decisions are documented and tracked to completion.
Coordinate pre- and post-event activities, including stakeholder communications, agenda development, biography collection, protocol coordination, room preparation, and audiovisual support.
Support the planning, coordination, documentation, and execution of Government exchanges, conferences, and other collaborative initiatives involving DoD and external Government organizations.
Maintain organizational calendars, coordinate executive schedules, and ensure timely communication of meetings, milestones, and deadlines.
Maintain personnel rosters, organizational contact lists, and administrative records to ensure accurate and current information.
Track personnel certifications, mandatory training, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and other compliance documentation for Government, military, and contractor personnel.
Support personnel onboarding and offboarding activities, including processing access requests, Common Access Cards (CACs), security badging, equipment requests, network access, and other Government-directed administrative requirements.
Update and monitor Government time and attendance systems, personnel accountability tools, and daily status reporting.
Maintain organizational procedures, files, records, and knowledge repositories to ensure accurate documentation and efficient information management.
Prepare, route, and track official correspondence, memorandums, agreements, and other administrative packages through appropriate approval channels.
Assist with domestic and international travel planning, including preparing travel authorizations, travel packets, itineraries, and supporting documentation in accordance with Government policies and organizational requirements.
Coordinate travel using Government-approved travel systems and track required documentation, including theater business clearances, letters of authorization, medical requirements, and CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) processing when applicable.
Consolidate and prepare travel reports and provide administrative support for mission-related travel activities.
Coordinate with Government personnel, military members, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and successful execution of administrative and operational requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, workflow efficiency, and organizational effectiveness while supporting mission objectives.
Perform additional administrative and operational support duties as assigned in support of Government mission requirements.

Barbaricum is seeking a Technical Writer to provide technical writing, editing, and document management support for Department of Defense (DoD) programs. The successful candidate will develop, edit, and maintain a wide range of technical and operational documentation, including reports, briefings, manuals, standard operating procedures, and training materials. This role requires exceptional writing and editing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Experience working with classified information and Security Classification Guides (SCGs) is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
Develop, edit, and review technical documentation, reports, briefings, presentations, white papers, manuals, and other program deliverables to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and compliance with Government standards.
Edit and prepare classified and unclassified documents in accordance with applicable Security Classification Guides (SCGs), marking requirements, and document handling procedures.
Collaborate with engineers, scientists, program managers, and subject matter experts to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and professional documentation for diverse audiences.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project plans, schedules, requirements documents, test plans, technical manuals, training curricula, and operational documentation.
Prepare executive-level briefings, memorandums, reports, and correspondence using existing technical content while ensuring consistency in messaging and presentation.
Review and edit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and process documentation to improve clarity, standardization, and organizational knowledge transfer.

Barbaricum is seeking an Engineering, Scientific, Analysis, and Developer Support Specialist to provide technical engineering, scientific analysis, software development, and operational support for Department of Defense (DoD) programs. The successful candidate will support research, development, testing, evaluation, and operational initiatives by applying engineering principles, analytical methodologies, and technical expertise to advance mission capabilities. This position also supports knowledge management initiatives by maintaining secure information repositories and enabling collaboration across Government organizations.
Responsibilities
Provide engineering, scientific, technical, analytical, and software development support for complex Government research, development, testing, and operational programs.
Apply engineering principles and analytical methodologies to support computer-aided design (CAD), finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), modeling and simulation, instrumentation, experimentation, system testing, and operational analysis.
Develop software applications, analytical tools, and data-driven solutions that improve mission effectiveness and support technical decision-making.
Analyze and interpret technical and operational data to develop recommendations, evaluate system performance, and support capability development.
Design and implement instrumentation and analytical techniques to support experimentation, system evaluation, technology maturation, and product development.
