Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services .
We are currently seeking a part-time Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) with experience in managing addiction disorders and providing primary care at the Jessup Correctional Institution in Jessup, Maryland .
This position will occasionally travel to the Western Region Facilities in Hagerstown and Cumberland.
This position is a full-time position working with the SUD program to prevent, intervene, treat and manage addictive disorders. The days are Monday – Friday Day Shift
The Nurse Practitioner works under the supervision of a physician in a correctional environment and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. This includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, performing assessments, diagnosing patients, and medication management.

Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Maryland APRN license
Ability to pass background check
2+ years experience working as an NP
Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
One to two years’ experience in a progressive supervisory or management position in an outpatient/inpatient substance abuse program
Two years’ experience providing direct care in a community or correctional substance abuse program

We are currently seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our team at Pontiac Correctional Center located in Pontiac, Illinois . This site qualifies for student loan repayment through NHSC!
The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
Annual salary starting at $380,000 or higher based on years of experience.
Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
Active, unrestricted MD/DO Illinois license or ability to obtain
Active, unrestricted DEA
Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check
BC/BE in a Psychiatry specialty is required
