Job Duties-
Answer inbound phone calls regarding network issues from internal employees, vendors, and business partners.

The Client is seeking a NOC Communications Specialist to provide first-line network technical support to Commonwealth employees and business partners during after-hours and weekend coverage. The position requires a technically capable, customer-service-oriented individual who can work independently, multitask, prioritize workload, and ensure prompt resolution or escalation of end-user and network issues.
The NOC Communications Specialist will work closely with Commonwealth staff, vendors, service providers, network engineers, and IT teams to monitor network operations, respond to incidents, manage ServiceNow tickets, and communicate network status and incident information.
Responsibilities- Answer inbound calls concerning network issues from Commonwealth employees, vendors, and business partners.
- Create, update, and escalate ServiceNow trouble tickets to engineers, Tier 2 Commonwealth staff, and third-party service providers.
- Work with NOC Tier 2 engineers, Commonwealth staff, contracted personnel, and third-party providers to resolve network issues.
- Research reference publications, diagnostic aids, knowledgebase documentation, and standard operating procedures to troubleshoot issues.
- Monitor network management tools such as SolarWinds and SquaredUp to monitor remote sites, networks, and hardware.
- Actively monitor Commonwealth networks and connected network assets and initiate appropriate actions when issues are identified.
- Respond to network outages and system failures using established escalation procedures.
- Perform first-line investigation and diagnosis of network incidents and accurately document incident details and priorities.
- Escalate after-hours incidents to appropriate technical staff for resolution.
- Assign unresolved incidents to higher-tier support or service providers and coordinate restoration activities.
- Coordinate with network staff and vendors to assist with service restoration based on alarm conditions.
- Monitor the ServiceNow ticket queue and appropriate Commonwealth email accounts for network event notifications.
- Proactively identify and resolve problems when possible and escalate issues when necessary.

Senior Communications Specialist - Active TS/SCI

The Communications Specialist – Senior, is a strategic advisor responsible for leading, developing, and executing comprehensive communications programs and campaigns. This role requires a high level of expertise to guide messaging for senior leadership, align communications with corporate objectives, and ensure consistency across all internal and external platforms. Operating with significant autonomy, the specialist provides expert counsel on complex communication challenges, including those related to mission, technology, and workforce engagement. Requirements
Duties May Include:
· Lead the strategic development and execution of multifaceted communications campaigns and programs, from conception to completion.
· Function as a key advisor to senior executives, providing expert guidance on communication strategies, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
· Develop and recommend various communication tools and techniques to maintain consistent messaging, improve transparency, and support leadership decision-making.
· Ensure all communications initiatives and activities are aligned with overall program plans, objectives, and timelines.
· Oversee and produce a wide range of high-level communication products, including talking points, speeches, newsletters, timely announcements, and official reports (e.g., WAR).
· Ensure consistent themes and talking points for senior leadership engagements with internal teams, the Intelligence Community, and international partners.
· Provide final review and editorial services for all strategic communications to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to NGA policy and publishing standards.
· Perform and direct outreach activities to improve relationships and secure buy-in from internal and external stakeholders, including the workforce, partner agencies, and the broader enterprise.
· Manage and facilitate major communications events, such as town halls, speaker engagements, and large-scale conferences (e.g., GEOINT Symposium).
· Lead or facilitate discussions, workshops, and focus groups to understand stakeholder needs and articulate a clear vision for change.
· Analyze communications metrics, monitor program effectiveness, and report on organizational business functions to inform strategic decisions.
· Maintain a holistic awareness of organizational initiatives to connect disparate activities into a cohesive narrative for leadership and the workforce.
· Execute ad hoc campaigns and tasks, adapting quickly to emerging requirements and integrating them into routine operations as needed.
Required Skills:
· Demonstrated experience leading the strategic development of corporate communications programs.
· Proven ability to implement actionable and targeted strategic communications plans, including stakeholder analysis, change management strategies, and training plans.
· Experience analyzing metrics and reporting on organizational functions to advise senior executives on improvements.
· Expertise in aligning strategic communications initiatives with program objectives and timelines.
· Experience creating and implementing plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
· Advanced knowledge and understanding of international affairs and partner engagement (for certain roles).

The Communications Specialist – Mid, is a versatile and experienced professional responsible for developing, managing, and executing a full range of internal and external communications initiatives. This role requires a blend of hands-on content creation, strategic planning, and project management to support leadership priorities, engage the workforce, and promote the organization's mission. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the specialist will manage everything from drafting daily messaging and designing visual products to managing corporate events and providing strategic counsel. This position serves as a key driver of the organization's narrative, ensuring all communications are clear, consistent, and aligned with strategic objectives.
Requirements
Duties May Include:
· Develop and produce a wide variety of communication materials, including talking points, speeches, news articles, newsletters, official memoranda, and social media content.
· Design and create high-quality visual products such as infographics, publications, and presentations using tools like Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
· Provide editorial services to review and refine content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to organizational style and policy.
· Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive communications plans and campaigns for key initiatives, programs, and events.
· Function as a trusted advisor to office-level leadership, providing guidance on messaging strategies, stakeholder engagement, and effective communication tactics.
· Analyze communication metrics and audience feedback to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements for future campaigns.
· Plan, manage, and execute a full spectrum of corporate events, including internal town halls, brown bags, and training sessions, as well as external conferences and industry engagements.

Required Skills:
· Experience: A range of approximately 5 to 14 years of demonstrated experience in corporate communications, public affairs, or a related field.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is essential for many roles.
