Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer III for an onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
Responsible for developing, enhancing, testing, and supporting applications that enable business capabilities and operational processes. This role works closely with business analysts, product owners, and technical teams to implement software solutions that meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. The position involves developing and maintaining user interfaces, application components, and integrations using established development standards and best practices while actively adopting modern engineering practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain application features for a business advisory portal
- Build and enhance Angular-based user interfaces and integrate with backend services
- Participate in requirements analysis, sprint planning, story refinement, and estimation activities
- Perform code reviews and follow development standards and secure coding practices
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and regression tests to ensure software quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues
- Support application deployments, monitoring, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business functionality on time and with high quality
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions and operational support
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Angular development experience building enterprise web applications
- 3+ years of experience integrating Angular applications with Java (Spring Boot) APIs and microservices
- Experience developing responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience implementing OAuth2/OIDC authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Experience with Jasmine, Karma, or similar testing frameworks for front-end unit and integration testing
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills with the ability to resolve application issues across environments
- Experience participating in Agile development teams using Scrum or similar methodologies
- Experience with Docker containerization and deployments on Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms
- Familiarity with cloud-native application development concepts and microservices-based solutions
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or comparable tools
- Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools to improve developer productivity
- Experience supporting application deployments, defect remediation, and production support activities
- Exposure to AI-enabled applications, intelligent assistants, or automation technologies is a plus
Desired skills:
- Proven experience building end-to-end applications (front-end + backend integration)
- Experience conducting performance and load testing
- Strong understanding of responsive design and UI performance optimization
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams
Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour

PLC Programmer

The purpose of the PLC Programmer is to manage, maintain, and create all plant programmable control systems (PLC), assist in the analysis of current programs, and manage all plant computer systems.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot all current PLC and computer related processes.
- Project management, purchasing, and supervision of contractors for all projects to assure completion on a timely basis within budget.
- Create all new programs, process controls, and computer related systems.
- Assist the maintenance department in preventative maintenance duties.
- Assist the engineering department in the development of new processes.
- Assist the engineering department in cost reduction projects involving automation.
- Follow, monitor, and ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations, and policies.
- Provide the necessary safety training to contractors.
- Manage and maintain current computer network system
- Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements.
- Work with Corporate IT on any upgrades or system modifications
- Order and specify all hardware and software for all plant systems
- Manage plant security relative to computer systems (email, systems access, passwords, etc.)
- Assist the in trouble shooting or project implementation.
- Perform duties as assigned by the Plant management team or direct supervisor.
