JOB DESCRIPTION
Zuckerman Investment Group is seeking motivated and intellectually curious graduate interns with a strong interest in investment research and financial markets. The ideal candidate is a driven, hardworking continuous learner who is passionate about in-depth fundamental analysis and understanding how businesses and markets operate.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to equity research and portfolio management. Interns will develop strategic thinking, investment and business knowledge, and analytical skills while working closely with experienced investment professionals.
JOB FUNCTION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Exemplify the core values of Zuckerman Investment Group. Assist in sourcing, researching, and evaluating new equity investment ideas within the firm’s investment process. Support the development and maintenance of detailed financial models, including company forecasts and valuation analyses Contribute to the preparation of investment memorandums and internal research materials. Help maintain and develop research relationships by assisting with interactions with company management, industry contacts, and research vendors. Perform fundamental analysis of companies across a variety of sectors under the guidance of senior investment professionals. Develop actionable insights by consuming and distilling large quantities of information from a variety of sources, including, but not limited to, research reports, industry news, news publications, company press releases and presentations, social media, primary sources, subject matter experts, etc. Conduct research and analysis on broad market trends, industry specific developments, economic conditions, and regulatory, fiscal and monetary policy to inform decision-making. Gain exposure to client portfolio discussions, including observing or assisting in communications with high-net-worth clients regarding their investment portfolios. Participate in marketing meetings with consultants, advisors, clients and prospects under the guidance of senior investment professionals. Build foundational knowledge of financial markets and assist in developing tailored investment insights and solutions. Support risk analysis efforts in client portfolios, managing exposure to various asset classes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrated interest in investment research, financial markets, and portfolio management through coursework, internships, academic projects, or personal investing. Exposure to researching companies, including financial analysis, valuation, or industry research. Previous experience researching software and technology companies preferred but not required. Highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. Outstanding work ethic, attention to detail and ability to work well on a team and cross functionally. Proven ability to grasp and comprehend highly complex, widely varied problems and concepts and then communicate them in a simple, straightforward manner. EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree, such as an MBA, MS in Finance, or MS in Economics. Minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale required (overall or major GPA); academic excellence strongly preferred. Pursuing or interest in pursuing CFA® Charter holder (preferred).
COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $10,000 to $15,000 per month, depending on factors such as relevant experience, skills, job-related knowledge, individual performance, job level, and market location. Actual compensation offered may vary based on these factors.

Zuckerman Investment Group is seeking to hire an MBA graduate to join our investment team as an Investment Analyst in Summer 2027. We are looking for a highly motivated, intellectually curious, and hardworking individual with a passion for financial markets and rigorous, fundamental investment research.
As an Investment Analyst, you will work closely with senior investment professionals to evaluate businesses, conduct in-depth fundamental research, develop investment recommendations, and contribute to portfolio management. SALARY AND BENEFITS:

Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation. Job Summary
The Faropoint Investments Team is expanding, and we are looking for an ambitious and motivated Director of Asset Management to join our Hoboken office. The ideal candidate would have 5-8 years of Asset Management experience, looking to expand their knowledge and experience to Real Estate Private Equity.
Responsibilities
Manage industrial assets end-to-end from a property/asset management perspective. This may include: tenant support, written reports, updating tech platforms, record keeping, and tenant relations.
Lead the leasing process, including market analysis, comparative analysis, and negotiations.
Lead workflows conducting transaction analysis and due diligence for new acquisitions and onboarding new properties.
Review and approve all aspects of industrial real estate appraisals and operational budgets, including rental rates, discounted cash flows, and capital work.
Maintain properties by scheduling ongoing routine maintenance. Coordinate maintenance technicians and construction management schedules. Prepare and coordinate bid proposals, service contracts, and invoices. Assist in scheduling tenants’ maintenance requests.
Develop analytical tools to allow leadership to better understand the state of the portfolio and streamline work processes. Assist in lease administration such as maintaining tenant contacts, tracking insurance, collections, and tracking property inspections.
Prepare and code invoices for PM/AM approval. Manage and assist in accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting to investors.
Required Qualifications
Ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience as an Asset Manager in the industrial/commercial real estate industry.
Bachelor's Degree
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills.
Ability to give and take direction and to interface with decision makers in a professional manner while maintaining confidentiality.
