ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Schedule/Hours: M – F (Day Shift)
This position is responsible for:
Provides excellent client services to members participating in activities presented by Oasis Wellness Center; The monitor is responsible for assisting customers with membership sign-ups, processing payments, and maintain accurate accounts. Keeps the sports and recreation areas clean, organized and safe. Responsible for real-time surveillance of the fitness center, gym and pool area; incident detection and reporting to ensure safety and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Greets and directs members as they enter the fitness center.
Verifies membership status through membership software system.
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe facility by cleaning equipment and training areas to include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping down equipment, cleaning mirrors and glass, and re-racking free weights.
Responsible for assisting customers with membership sign-ups, processing payments, and maintaining accurate account records
Responsible for real-time surveillance in fitness studio, gym and pool monitoring for incidents or accidents and reporting them directly to Supervisor to ensure safety and security.
Keeps the sports, recreation, lobby and desk area clean, organized and safe
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Work requires the ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull moderately heavy (25-50 lbs.) materials, supplies and equipment.
Required to grasp objects, push, and pull objects, bend, stand, walk, squat, or kneel. Moderate to high mobility; duties are usually performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis.
Work is performed in a combination of office and field settings. Frequently required to sit and reach; and must be able to move around the work environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Work will typically be indoors in a heated and air-conditioned office or location, with a mixture of natural, incandescent, and fluorescent light with moderate noise levels or be subject to working conditions.
Work may require performance of duties where exposure to communicable and infectious diseases are possible.
Use of a computer is required; and the ability to communicate using a computer and phone/smart device. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust. Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to manipulate activities is required.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
Must be at least 18 years of age. AND
High school diploma or G.E.D.
OR
Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certifications/Licenses:
Must have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification within first 30 days of employment.
