FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING
Requirements
At least four years of hands-on experience that included the following areas:
Modifying airframes to accept complex Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems
Routing and installation of complex avionics wire-harnesses
Rack installation, instrument installation, electronics installation, or structural kitting
Installation, modification and/or kitting sensitive classified communications gear onto aircraft
Modification of secure airborne communication relays, electronic warfare systems, or mission equipment
Relevant experience with one or more of the following airframes: H-60 Black Hawk or Seahawk variants (MH-60M, MH-60R, MH-60S); V-22 Osprey (CV-22 and/or MV-22); H-53 Stallion series (MH-53, CH-53); C-130 Hercules or Hercules variants (AC-130, MC-130); F/A-18 Hornet or Super Hornet; E-2C/D Hawkeye; King Air or C-12 Huron variants; P-8A Poseidon
Desired Skills
Former Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, or Navy personnel who held the following occupational codes, as applicable to service branch:
USAF: 2A2X1, 2A6X6, 2A7X3
Army: 15Y, 15G
Marine Corps: 6400 series, MOS 6491 is preferred
Navy: AT, AM, AE
Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD
Requirements
B.S. in Engineering or an Engineering discipline and at least five years of relevant experience, of the minimum years of relevant experience, at least two of those years must be specifically related to air platforms or ground mobile communications, no allowable degree substitutions
Demonstrated experience leading tasks that apply C5ISR engineering techniques, principles and precedents to plan, design, develop, test, and supervise production and fabrication
Demonstrated experience reviewing obsolete drawings, equipment, parts, or components to accomplish reverse engineering to validate data and produce replicas or modernizations
Demonstrated experience evaluating performance and reliability of prototypes or first articles tests, and recommending changes
Demonstrated experience reviewing, analyzing, developing, preparing, applying engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures and making recommendations for design alternatives
Demonstrated experience planning and performing verifications and analysis and compiling, analyzing, and reporting test data results
Desired Skills
Experience providing services to Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) at Webster Outlying Field (WOLF)
Electrical engineering degree is preferred
