About the Role
We’re looking for a junior engineer with experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or build pipelines. The role will support internal Qventus teams in building out new solutions, streamlining existing development practices, and ensuring that cloud infrastructure is version controlled following GitOps principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of projects related to Kubernetes, Observability tooling, Security & Access Controls, and build pipelines
- Development of Infrastructure-as-Code modules and documentation thereof
- Collaborate with internal and external Qventus team members to understand project requirements
- Document use-cases, how-tos, and projects to grow Qventus’ internal knowledge base
- Keep on top of industry trends and bring new technologies to the team’s attention
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team on complex projects and communicate challenges and solutions
- A desire to learn and ask questions
- Comfort with Python, Golang, or Bash
- Experience working with a cloud provider, like AWS, GCP, Digital Ocean, etc.
- Familiarity with a configuration management system like Helm or Terraform
- Linux system fundamentals, i.e. package management, basic TCP/IP networking, systemctl, journalctl, etc. An understanding of securing Linux systems in the context of containers and selinux is a bonus.
