Compensation: 6.39 /hr + tips! Responsibilities Where You'll Make an Impact: Mixing, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications. Guiding guests through menu and drink options as well as Casino and hotel offerings. Taking orders from guests and returning these orders accurately and in a timely manner. Keep area clean and orderly. Providing friendly and attentive service. Handling all cash transactions. Opening and closing inventories of all stock. Retaining knowledge of company policy and procedure regarding guest limitations. Other duties as assigned. Skills to Help You Succeed: Customer service. POS (point of sales) Software operating experience. Upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude. Ability to read write and understand basic instructions. Knowledge of all bar equipment, Easy Bar System, ABC laws and regulations. Able to handle situations that may arise due to intoxication. Ability to communicate with all departments and other team members. Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol. Flexible schedule Working in a team environment. Qualifications Must-Haves: A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required. Six months to one year experience as a bartender. Obtain and maintain an Alcohol Beverage Control card, and any applicable health certificates. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning. Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Working Conditions: 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises. You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed. Please note that this is a union position, and individuals in this role may be required to pay applicable union dues and fees.
