Member of Technical Staff (Data Intelligence)
Reka
In this role, you’ll work closely with model researchers, data infrastructure engineers, and cross-functional partners to make sure our data is high quality and can be produced at petabyte scale in a reliable, efficient way. From understanding how data choices show up in model behavior, to building processing pipelines and running the compute behind them, you’ll help ensure our models are trained on the best data we can get.
What you’ll do
-
Work with model researchers to define what “good data” means for our models, including quality metrics, validation checks, and acceptance thresholds
-
Explore open source datasets and create internal ones most suitable to build fundamental World Models
-
Build algorithms for automated data quality assessment, data domain mixtures, and domain adaptation from synthetic to real data.
-
Track datasets, metadata, provenance, and versions so experiments are reproducible and it’s clear what data went into which training and evaluation runs
-
Own CI/CD and development tooling for the data stack (GitHub, Python, PyTorch), and automate repetitive workflows to reduce friction
-
Track and optimize throughput, storage, and compute utilization across pipelines and related assets
What we’re looking for
-
Strong ML and deep learning fundamentals with experience building and operating large-scale data and/or compute systems
-
Comfortable moving between research questions and production engineering: you can dig into data, run analyses, and also ship reliable systems

-
Ability to design and execute experiments with convincing unbiased outcomes
-
Practical experience with distributed processing and orchestration (Spark, Ray, Airflow, or equivalents)
-
Solid Python skills, and familiarity with the tooling around modern model training workflows (datasets, checkpoints, experiment tracking)
-
Strong instincts around data quality: how to measure it, how to monitor it, and how to prevent regressions as things scale
-
Able to work in a fast-moving environment, prioritize what matters, and communicate clearly with both researchers and engineers
-
Bonus: experience with large video datasets, dataset curation for training, or building internal tooling for evaluation/analysis in ML environments

AWS Data Engineer (Senior)
Mactores
Mactores is the agent-native AWS modernization firm. Most modernization work doesn't ship, it stalls in pilots, slips a year, or lands at three times the budget. We exist to ship it: production systems running, legacy retired, outcomes measured. Our delivery is built on Aedeon, the agent platform built by Mactores' founders' sister company, which absorbs the repetitive 60–70% of engagement work, discovery, dependency mapping, validation, test generation, that traditional consulting bills human hours against. Forward-deployed engineers own the rest: architecture, judgment, and cutover, on dates we commit to in the contract.
This is a senior role in our Data Platform Modernization pillar: consolidating and migrating customer data infrastructure on AWS in weeks, not quarters, at meaningfully lower engagement cost than traditional data consulting. Customers come to us after a data program has stalled pipelines nobody trusts, warehouses nobody runs new workloads on, a modernization that produced diagrams instead of production systems.
Aedeon handles automated source discovery, schema mapping, lineage extraction, and parallel-run validation. You own what agents can't: target architecture, data model decisions, pipeline design under real constraints, and the calls that make a cutover safe. You'll build with PySpark and SQL on EMR and Glue, model for Redshift, Snowflake, Athena, and Presto, orchestrate with Airflow and your work will reach production, not a slide deck.
What you will do?
- Build and maintain data pipelines on Amazon EMR or Amazon Glue that run in production.
- Design data models and end-user querying on Amazon Redshift or Snowflake, Amazon Athena, and Presto.
- Build and maintain pipeline orchestration with Airflow.
- Work with customer and internal teams to understand data needs and design the solutions that meet them.
- Troubleshoot and optimize pipelines and data models until they hold up under real load.
- Write and maintain PySpark and SQL scripts to extract, transform, and load data.
- Document and communicate technical decisions to technical and non-technical audiences — customers sign off on what we ship.
- Track new AWS data technologies and judge their impact on the systems we run.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with PySpark and SQL.
- 2+ years of experience building and maintaining data pipelines using Amazon EMR or Amazon Glue.
- 2+ years of experience with data modeling and end-user querying using Amazon Redshift or Snowflake, Amazon Athena, and Presto.
- 1+ years of experience building and maintaining pipeline orchestration using Airflow.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
You are preferred if you have
- AWS Data Analytics Specialty Certification
- Experience with Agile development methodology
How we work?
We run a forward-deployed model. Senior engineers embed with the customer's team, own outcomes from discovery through production, and carry the delivery commitment personally fixed dates, with Mactores absorbing overage cost for delays inside our control. Aedeon absorbs scale; you absorb judgment. That means less of your week goes to inventory spreadsheets and manual validation, and more goes to architecture, data modeling, and cutover strategy. The culture is casual and steers clear of rigid corporate habits. We measure ourselves by what ships.

Associate Director of Bioinformatics (Women's Health and Organ Health)
Natera
Natera is seeking an Associate Director to lead a team of Bioinformatics Scientists in our Women's Health and Organ Health research organization. You will oversee the scientific planning and execution of research and assay-development of diagnostic projects, and you will be responsible for creating production-ready pipeline components. You will manage your team and its professional growth, the research strategy behind new product development, and the handoff of research work into production.
The role calls for deep experience in algorithm and assay development, NGS data processing across multiple modalities, and the full life cycle of diagnostic product research and development in a regulated (CLIA) setting. You will evaluate new technologies and NGS assays, implement methods to optimize performance, and help define the product profile from a bioinformatics perspective, with input from R&D, Product, and Laboratory Directors.
Primary Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of Bioinformatics Scientists. Own their professional growth, their responsibilities, and the standard the team holds itself to.
Research Strategy: Own the research strategy behind new product development, from scoping through execution, working with cross-functional stakeholders on what the team takes on and in what order.
Assay Science: Lead bioinformatics analysis for assay development and optimization, and troubleshoot experiments alongside laboratory scientists. This spans multi-omic approaches including methylation and fragmentomics and other cell-free DNA (cfDNA) derived features. It also spans short-read and long-read sequencing and both hybrid-capture and amplicon target enrichment.
Study Design and Data Quality: Partner with laboratory teams on study design at the research and feasibility stage, covering new technology assessment, optimization, and performance determination. Make sure the resulting data holds up before anyone builds on it.
Analysis Method Improvement: Advise and prototype improvements to analysis pipelines, including variant detection, quality control, and modality-specific processing: methylation calling, fragment-size and end-motif analysis, error suppression for deep targeted panels, and structural-variant calling.
Production Readiness and Handoff: Move research prototypes into stable production workflows. Hold the team to software engineering practice, including version control, testing, continuous integration and delivery, and containerization. Automate the routine parts of research data management, pipeline execution, and reporting so the team's time goes to science.
Ways of Working: AI is a routine part of the work here. As the leader of this team you set what correct use looks like: what an agent may conclude on its own, and what requires a scientist to sign off. We do not screen for prior experience with these tools, and many strong candidates come from environments where they were restricted; we provide the tooling and the ramp time.
Cross-functional Partnership: Work with data science, molecular biology, pipeline engineering, biostatistics, quality assurance, and laboratory operations on new products and on the transition of research work into production. Act as the subject-matter expert those groups come to, and explain findings and the roadmap clearly at every level of the company.
What success looks like after a year:
- The team has a research roadmap you own, and progress against it is visible outside the team.
- You independently advise and guide research strategies in cross functional settings.
- New analysis methods from your team are implemented within production code and demonstrate expected performance on benchmark studies..
- You and team members become trusted experts that other functions direct their hard questions to, and can independently support decision making.
- AI agent-assisted work is normal on the team, with a standard for it that you set.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Biostatistics, or a related field. (An M.S. with equivalent experience considered).
- 7+ years in bioinformatics, including 3+ years leading scientists and working across functions.
- Demonstrated ownership of a team that took scientific research into real clinical use, not only to a result.
- Demonstrated experience developing or scientifically guiding diagnostic sequencing assays.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
What we are screening for
- Deep expertise in next-generation sequencing analysis: hybrid-capture or amplicon-based target enrichment designs, sequencing quality control, secondary analysis, and variant calling.
- Experience with cell-free DNA sequencing and other omics data, especially in a diagnostics setting. Preferred to have some exposure to multiomics types : methylation, fragmentomics, or related cfDNA signals.
- Working knowledge of how a diagnostic product moves through development in a regulated, accredited setting, including the practices and standards that apply.
- Strong Python, programming, and data analysis skills.
- Fluency in exploratory data analysis and visualization on complex data sets, and the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Understanding of sequencing workflows from sample extraction through the instrument, deep enough to tell a biology problem from an analysis problem.
- A demonstrated record of assessing a new platform, assay chemistry or method against established benchmarks..
- Clear communication of technical detail to people who do not share your background.
- The ability to run several objectives and timelines at once without close supervision.
Strong candidates may also have
- Long-read sequencing (PacBio HiFi, Oxford Nanopore) in addition to short-read (Illumina).
- R, shell scripting, or Java.
- Cloud computing (AWS, GCP) and workflow orchestration (Snakemake, WDL, Nextflow, Cromwell).
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for reproducible, production-grade analyses.
- A record of conference presentations or peer-reviewed publication.
- A desire to work in a fast-paced environment where a small team has high impact.
The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.

Life360's mission is to keep people close to the ones they love. Our category-leading mobile app, Tile tracking devices, and Pet GPS tracker empower members to protect the people, pets, and things they care about most with a range of services, including location sharing, safe driver reports, and crash detection with emergency dispatch. Life360 serves approximately 102.4 million monthly active users (MAU), as of June 30, 2026, across more than 180 countries.
Life360 delivers peace of mind and enhances everyday family life with seamless coordination for all the moments that matter, big and small. By continuing to innovate and deliver for our customers, we have become a household name and the must-have mobile-based membership for families (and those friends who are basically family).
Life360 has more than 500 (and growing!) remote-first employees. For more information, please visit life360.com.
Life360 is a Remote First company, which means a remote work environment will be the primary experience for all employees. All positions, unless otherwise specified, can be performed remotely (within the US and Canada) regardless of any specified location above.
We are AI Native
We are building an AI native company where AI is an integral part of how we build and operate. AI tool usage during interviews varies by role. You may be asked to demonstrate proficiency with AI tools, discuss how you leverage AI, or complete interview exercises without AI assistance. Your Recruiter will provide clear guidance as you move through the interview process.
Undisclosed use of AI not previously discussed with or approved by your Recruiter may impact your candidacy.
About The Team
The Data & Analytics Team (DnA) is a 60+ person organization spanning data engineering, analytics engineering, analytics/decision science, and data science/ML. The science teams are organized into two sub teams, focusing on MAU and Revenue. This role leads decision science and data science within MAU.
You and your team will be responsible for understanding the drivers behind MAU: why members come, why they stay, and why they return. The team partners with product, marketing, and engineering to put those learnings into everyday work, and that work shapes our roadmaps.
Our data is unusual for a consumer company. Life360 measures families and circles rather than individuals, so one member's behavior affects another's, which makes measurement a different problem than a standard funnel. With billions of location events, driving behavior, crash detection, and Tile and Pet GPS trackers, we get a rich picture of physical behavior that few consumer companies can build.
About the Job
This Senior Director leads MAU Analytics and Data Science.
You and your team will work across acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention on the analysis, models, and experiments behind each. A lot of what this role owns needs to be built rather than maintained: the measurement, the standards, and how the team uses AI. The team is also raising its craft, and coaching people through that is an important part of the job. Within a year, your team members will be operating at an elevated skill level, proactively bringing key questions to light, and serving as trusted advisors whom stakeholders consult for strategic guidance rather than simple task execution.
You will report to the Head of Data and work closely with counterparts leading Revenue Analytics and Data Science, and with the leaders of Data Engineering.
For candidates based in the US, the salary range for this position is $247,000 to $366,000 USD. For candidates based out of Canada, the salary range for this position is $286,000 to $339,000 CAD. We take into consideration an individual's background, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay may also vary based on geographic location, with US work locations falling into one of three geographic tiers.
Total compensation is inclusive of equity compensation in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop the decision scientists and data scientists on the team, and set the quality bar for both disciplines.
- Own the MAU driver model and the forecast.
- Own the exploratory work that drives the strategy to grow MAU.
- Establish how an analysis gets scoped, run, reviewed, and written up, so its quality does not depend on who picked up the request.
- Partner with your Revenue counterpart and Data Engineering leadership to define common metrics, align on experimentation standards, and introduce unified operating practices across teams.
- Build the operating model that gets the team into the roadmap conversation early, with a view on what to build and what to test.
- Use agents and automated analysis daily, and expect the same of the team.
- Shape how the team works AI-native: what gets delegated to agents, what gets automated, and what stays human judgment.
What We're Looking For
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years in analytics, data science, or decision science, including 5+ years in people management in a senior leadership role.
- Deep expertise in inferential and causal analytics. Able to lead ML practitioners.
- Expert knowledge of engagement, retention, churn, and cohort metrics.
- Experience forecasting a company-level metric and being held to it.
- SQL, plus Python or R.
- Experience with Databricks, third party experimentation tools (e.g. Statsig), Tableau or similar BI tools, and AI native BI tools (e.g. Hex, AI/BI).
- Hands-on with coding agents (Claude Code or equivalent) in your own analytical work.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with experiment design to identify and control for network effects.
- Master’s degree or PhD with an emphasis in social science, psychology or other behavioral science.
- Experience leading a team that reports to you but sits embedded with product and engineering teams.
- Experience in a B2C subscription business.
Core Expectations
- You have moved an analytics team from reactive to embedded.
- You coach and develop people, and you have grown analysts into leaders.
- On your teams, analysis starts from a hypothesis rather than a data request.
- You have built the standards a team works from, and got people to use them.
- You are curious about why people behave the way they do, not just what they did.
- You decide what the team does not work on, and you can defend it.
Our Benefits
- Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans (100% paid for US employees). We offer life and disability as well as supplemental plans for medical and dental for Canadian employees.
- 401(k) plan with company matching program in the US and RRSP with DPSP plan for Canadian employees.
- Paid parental leave
- Mental Wellness Program & Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental well-being
- Generous time off: flexible PTO, companywide holidays throughout the year plus summer and winter shutdowns
- Learning & Development programs
- Equipment, tools, and reimbursement support for a productive remote environment.
- Free Life360 Platinum Membership and Tile trackers.
Life360 Values
Our company's mission-driven culture is guided by our shared values to create a trusted work environment where you can bring your authentic self to work and make a positive difference
- Be a Good Person - We have a team of high integrity people you can trust.
- Be Direct With Respect - We communicate directly, even when it's hard.
- Members Before Metrics - We focus on building an exceptional experience for families.
- High Intensity, High Impact - We do whatever it takes to get the job done.
Our Commitment to Diversity

Together, we continue to build an inclusive culture that encourages, supports, and celebrates the diverse voices of our employees. It fuels our innovation and connects us closer to our customers and the communities we serve. We strive to create a workplace that reflects the communities we serve and where everyone feels empowered to bring their authentic best selves to work.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at Life360. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status or any legally protected status.
We encourage people of all backgrounds to apply. We believe that a diversity of perspectives and experiences create a foundation for the best ideas. Come join us in building something meaningful. Even if you don't meet 100% of the below qualifications, you should still seriously consider applying!

The Revenue Experimentation team (Direct Revenue org) is the engine behind how we grow and monetize Life360 responsibly. We design, ship, and analyze high-velocity experiments across ads, subscriptions, and one-time purchases — pricing, paywalls, ad placement and mediation, upsell and upgrade flows — so every monetization decision is grounded in evidence, not instinct. Our work directly shapes the revenue behind nearly 100 million members. We are a product-minded, AI-Native engineering team. AI isn't just a tool we use — it's how we work. We treat it as a first-class collaborator at every stage: ideation, coding, testing, review, and iteration. We ship faster and go deeper because of it, and we're looking for someone who wants to help define what that looks like at scale.
About the Job
As a Lead Data Scientist, you will own the path from revenue opportunity to production ML for Direct Revenue, the business unit responsible for growing active users, subscriptions, revenue-generating transactions, and in-app advertising across Life360's more than 100 million monthly active users. You will find the opportunities, size them, agree on priorities with business leads, and ship the models alongside the team's data scientists and engineers.
This role matters now because the team is expanding to cover consumer-facing ads, including recommendations and personalization, and needs a senior scientist who pairs a deep understanding of the problem with the ability to put models into production. In your first year, you will help the team scale the amount of production ML it delivers and help set the team's roadmap with the data science lead and the product manager.
For candidates based in the US, the salary range for this position is $175,000 to $218,000 USD. For candidates based out of Canada, the salary range for this position is $171,500 to $202,500 CAD.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct deep investigations into revenue-generating options and the data behind them, and use them to size, scope, and measure product changes in Databricks.
- Design, build, deploy, and operate production ML systems, from batch inference to online services to online learning models, using the team's feature store and model registry, for personalization, experimentation, and automation use cases.
- Partner with Product, Mobile Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Data Engineering, and MLOps to integrate these systems into user-facing features.
- Set up monitoring for new ML-based features so their performance and business impact are measured.
- Implement lineage tracking for data, code, and model artifacts to keep the ML lifecycle compliant, reproducible, and secure.
- Improve the data ecosystem with Data Engineering, including the pipelines that feed experimentation and ML.
- Mentor other data scientists and define best practices for advanced analytics and ML system development.
- Use Claude Code and other AI tools across data discovery, modeling, and experiment evaluation.
What We’re Looking For
Expected Experience & Qualifications
- Education: advanced degree in a field that relies on sophisticated statistical analysis or equivalent industry experience.
- Professional Experience: 6+ years of experience scoping, building, and analyzing ML-powered systems, including models you have shipped to production.
- Programming Proficiency: Significant experience with Python and scikit-learn, PySpark, and causal inference programming languages, including familiarity with software engineering best practices (testing, modularization, version control, etc.).
- Causal Inference: Technical training and professional experience applying modern causal inference and causal analysis techniques.
- Instrumentation and Measurement: Significant experience working with found data, guiding instrumentation to generate new data, and implementing data transformations to support complex analyses and ML system development.
- Experimentation: Hands-on experience setting up experiments in the consumer technology space, including experiment design, monitoring, and analysis of results.
- Consumer Product Experience: Experience building ML or running experiments at a consumer (B2C) technology company, ideally on revenue work such as subscriptions, transactions, or ads.
- Communication and Leadership: Strong communication and project leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Problem Solving: Strong capability to solve ambiguous problems in a structured, hypothesis-driven, data-supported way.
- Generative AI & LLMs: Prior experience leveraging LLMs in advanced data processing and analysis workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Digital Advertising: Experience with modern digital advertising, including ad tech infrastructure.
- Feeds and Ranking: Experience with ranking and grouping algorithms for content feeds.
- Advanced Tooling: Experience contributing to and managing production feature stores and ML model registries.
- Revenue Partnership: Experience working with product line GMs, including familiarity with revenue reporting and forecasting analyses.
- Subscription Products: Experience in subscription-based products, lifecycle marketing, or user acquisition.
- Geospatial: Experience with geospatial data and mobile location-based services.
AI-Native Expectations
- Daily use: Running parallel workstreams instead of hand-holding one agent at a time.
- Judgment and ownership: Review AI-generated code, analyses, and models as critically as a colleague's pull request. You are accountable for everything you ship, whoever or whatever wrote it.
- Velocity: Turn AI fluency into output. We expect you to deliver more production ML, faster, than the same work would take without AI.
- Team leadership: Share your AI workflows with the team and raise the AI fluency of the data scientists and engineers around you.
- Continuous learning: Keep up with new AI tools and techniques, test them on real team problems, and bring recommendations to the team.
- Paid parental leave.
- Mental Wellness Program & Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental well-being.
- Generous time off: flexible PTO, companywide holidays throughout the year plus summer and winter shutdowns.
- Learning & Development programs.
- Equipment, tools, and reimbursement support for a productive remote environment.
- Free Life360 Platinum Membership and Tile trackers.

It fuels our innovation and connects us closer to our customers and the communities we serve. We strive to create a workplace that reflects the communities we serve and where everyone feels empowered to bring their authentic best selves to work.
