SNI Companies is working with a large radiology firm in Monmouth County, NJ who is seeking a Patient Services Representative. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate management of patients during their appointment. This role is 100% on site.

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assist patients in completing necessary forms and documents for medical records and services.
- Provide information about the healthcare facility, services offered, and answer inquiries from patients and their families.
- Retrieve and release medical records to authorized personnel and ensure proper authorization and documentation.
- Process requests for medical records in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining accurate tracking and documentation.
- Enter patient information into the electronic health record (EHR) system accurately and promptly.
- Verify and update demographic and insurance information, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
- Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration related to patient care and records.
- Adhere to relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and compliance requirements regarding patient privacy, confidentiality, and medical records management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, health information systems, and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry, record management, and communication.
